Chooo ooo [DNF] with youban and dty73 on our trip to SA to attend the Leapyear mega! Thanks WayneAPN!
Day 5 - Tankengine, Youban and I decided as this was our last full day in Adelaide we would target a few further out choice caches, counties, events and then a few for numbers. This cache: Other than a mummified possum no cache was found.
With all the DNF and the possum skeleton back, looks like possible local resident not liking this hide. Will need to rethink this one.In the mean time will disable and hope to recreate this soon.
Found with CPwanderer on our way to an event. This took longer than it should have.TFTC WayneAPN
Found with sir_spectre on our way to an event. We walked different ways, and sir_spectre spotted it quickly. Thanks
Stopped on the way to a event. Quick find. Found the cache on the first lap of the tree,
A nice visit to One Tree Hill. Had a cuppa at the local cafe/PO etc. Thanks WayneAPN.
Found while out with the dogs- nice hide - after reading some of the other logs I made sure I had an adequate TOTT with me - TFTC
Clever! Actually pulled the cache out and went on searching before realising my mistake. Love these hides!
A solo day caching today with a package to drop off in the Barossa we started our adventure from there we found a few around Lyndoch, Williamstown, Kersbrook before heading towards One Tree Hill for a few, could be but we think its now the only dead tree on the hill, nice little hide

Still did not find but thanks for the helping hand and offering to come and help
This navigation point doesn’t seem to match the photo but we where unable to find the cashe at either locations. the navagation says right next to this shed with a Australia flag but this picture says its another 1 k long walk but great job
Not sure why reviewer attention required.
Messaged last log owner, to even come and assist them, seeing they have 0 finds, especially being their first cache. No reply.
Within 10min of last log, I went to the cache and all as it was the day it was published.
Not sure what GPS they are using to be that inaccurate. But they are correct, GZ coords are near the shed with the Aussie flag.
Hope they have success in finding this one and others to start their caching experience.

Returned, now all back to how it was.
Good to go.
Enjoy and return as found.

Found on a trip to the north of Adelaide with Freddo.
It was a great day to be out and about and we targeted a few caches of interest - some simple drive-bys and others involving a walk or a pole.
Thanks WayneAPN for the cache.

One last cache on my way home from some caching down on the flatter part of Playford. A quick find here. Thanks for the cache Wayne APN; congratulations on your first hide and I hope you’ll put out some more in due course. A FP from me.
Found on my way home after a day out and about in the northern suburbs finding caches along the way. Interesting to read the history of the original tree. Thanks for the cache WayneAPN!
Another day, another cache to find.
Many times have we driven past this tree over the years. Not once did I think it could be the old one! Shame the original has gone. Still any old tree is worth saving
Much appreciation to WayneAPN for planning and maintaining this cache on our ever growing SA cache map!

Travelling all over wherever we can - searching, spotting hidden items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guess or plain old dumb luck
Heaps of the luck stuff really !!!
*Most of the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course*.**

Beware ! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, floodwaters, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Great of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
We do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]

The end. For now...
Checked this today, with the recent DNF and the history of movement of the cache.
Once again it was out in the open.
Not sure how this is happening.
Maybe finders are inadvertently removing it and leaving it on the ground.
It is well camouflaged
Popped it back in its original hiding location.
All good to go.
Thanks for all who log [either found or DNF], it all helps.

Checked in on this one tonight.
As per the previous logger, skeletal remains of an animal have been placed where the cache should be and the cache was on the ground.
Seems to be human intervention. Hmm.
Skeleton now gone and all returned back to normal. Hopefully for a while to come.
Let me know of any issues with this cache.
Cache is safe and sound ready for the next finder.

Found the skeleton of a posumn, maybe first. A few more trees have been planted since this town was named.
Thanks WayneAPN for hiding this cache.

A few late logs in these few uploads of finds,
After a break due to the bad weather we have been experiencing of late the Adder once again joined the Starfish and the Mule to get a few more smilies on the map.
Meeting the Mule and Starfish in North Adelaide where Mr Mule needed to get a high terrain find of B&J's Beetle and was in need of a few long reaching TOTTs to complete the task. With that done it was off to the Rats den for lunch and a few finds on the way.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
A re visit to this location where there was once a hide about christmas lights. A quick find here in the only possible location.
Thank you for the cache WayneAPN Find Number 10040 on 1/11/2022

Another Tuesday Trekking for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group. [^] AnyMules was on Holidays, Brisal had a new 10 meter TOTT pole and wanted to try it out. Blackadders was looking at the weather but decided he would be in anyway. What's a bit of water from the sky, strong winds, thunder and hail anyway - no reason to stop caching. So we Christened the day TOTT Tuesday and set of in search of caches where we could use TOTTs.
Having made our way all the way from Adelaide to Gawler we called in at the S.A. Sewer Rats for lunch and she joined us for a few caches.
Very good hide - and yet it was in the very first place I looked!
***Thanks WayneAPN for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

I found this D1.5/T1.0 Traditional on 1/11/2022 at 14:22. It was find #15712 for me. Thanks WayneAPN for placing and maintaining this for us to enjoy in the wonderful state of South Australia.
Called in to see how things were with this one.
It was not in its usual spot. It was out in the open.
Replaced back in its original position.
Human or animal induced movement?
Will keep an eye on this and to see if I can sense animal intervention near this cache.

Found this one after heading north to visit a friend. After the trouble I had at the last 2 caches it was nice to have a short walk to a quick find and stamp here.
Nice first cache.
Thanks to WayneAPN for giving me the chance to find this cache.

Another cache hunt on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Today we have joined forces with FelixI, as one Felix is in Perth ATM.
Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-tour. We have enjoyed our time in SA, but it is time to slowly make our way back West again.

While eating dinner we received a phone call from a very dear friend. A new release, close to you. Dropped everything, ran out the door, navigation on. Pen in hand, no time to grab the stamp, after parking at way point we ran in search of this good little hide. Finally a gold place. Thanks WayneAPN for placing your 1st cache here, for us to make a FTF
Second here but not a find. Too many cars noticing me with a torch light! Have to try again in daylight!
Damn!
Damn!
In actual fact as I drive away I thought — but that .,… it should have been there! I’d dislodged and in the dark … we’ll I won’t say what had happened but now found!
