Logs
We left the Mega driving separately so I could stop for this one and get rid of frown. Absolutely gutted, lots of pruning so checked every tree both sides even though what hint said. Lifted lots of cut off incase was small tree. Previous logs confused us. Sadly left to meet up with our motorhome.
The trees along the track have been heavily trimmed and I couldnt find any cache at the solved coordinates.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
It was a little annoying that I only discovered the presence of this puzzle cache as I was about to exit the carpark yesterday. The cache icon had been hidden in my gps by another icon. I soon found that it was a jigsaw puzzle but having only my cellphone with me able to access the webpage at the time I decided to look at the puzzle later when I had access to my laptop. The puzzle was soon solved and I decided that I would find it in the morning, along with doing the Moeraki Adventure Lab (which I had overlooked yesterday). On arriving at GZ I couldn't find the cache and was about to give up when I read W.E.K.A.'s apologetic log. Oh, so that was why I couldn't find it! A brief search on the other side of the path revealed the cache. With the log signed, I replaced the cache back on the "correct" side. Should make for an easy find for the next cacher.
Oops, we messed up big time with this cache! Due to our ambiguous abbreviation of the word lighthouse in the hint, we ended up searching on the wrong side of the track, unsuccessfully of course. Noting ivss_xx's log about putting some sticks in front of the cache, we looked for these, and quickly found the cache on the other side of the track. Believing it had somehow ended up on the wrong side of the track, we changed it to the other side, very close to the track, still with the sticks covering it. Apologies for messing it up. The next person needs to look on the opposite side of the track from the hint, and please transfer the cache back to the correct side. TFTC
14:53 Ah yes, another jigidi. The notable part for this one was that I did in on the phone, and in almost no cell reception - while camping at Trotters Gorge last night.I will stick to the comfort of my PC with mouse for others...Amazing place here, and found the cache on my way to see some seals. The container was openly visible from the track so I tried to put some sticks in front of it.Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, drawp!#10170
Been here a few times but the view always amazes me!.To get up this close to the lighthouse is pretty neat and reading some of its history is quite interesting.A search interrupted rudely several times by muggles resulted in a good hideJust as I got back to the carpark a middle aged tourist asked me if I had seen any penguins, I honestly replied no - he had no idea what I had seen!Thankserninz
I did the puzzle awhile ago and finally got around to visiting the area and soon had the log signed.

I solved this one previously as i had plans to grab the rest here. On my way to the others, i looked for the final but gave up. On the way back, i looked for the final but gave up.. i sat in my car and re-did the puzzle to glean the clue and read a couple of previous finders logs and went back and found the cache in a short time.
I completed the jigidi puzzle a while ago and today found the cache easily. Found besdie rather than behind.
We searched for this one on the way down and on our return. Had no luck here. Searched all hint objects along the track big, small and in between but no cache found.
Found with Busy paws, had a bit of wandering up and down under the trees, but got there in the end. TFTC!
Nice easy puzzle to solve. Love the lighthouse, these old buildings have such a soul. Working with Geomum007 we took a couple of minutes to spot the cache. All good. TFTH

We are from Abilene, Texas, USA and have come to New Zealand to visit with a friend. We have gotten ten different Cache Types and will get the 11th Type (Webcam) when we go to Christchurch on Monday. Today Bitsprayer is taking us out to find more caches around Oamaru.
Thank you, drawp for placing this cache for all to find. We sign log sheets either as Love Cachers or LCers.
Driving over 50 miles to have...
Rusty barbed wire ripping through your clothes...
Curious rattlesnakes that come out of nowhere...
Itchy mosquito bites on every inch of your body...
A 40 mph wind gust blowing sand into your ears, nose and mouth...
Cactus needles getting stuck deep in your hands, arms and legs...
Thorny Mesquite trees scratching you up from head to toe...
Some or all of these things on a hike through 101° heat...
To sign your name or trade a toy...
SOUND LIKE FUN TO YOU?

Solved before leaving home, and now have great views from here lighthouse. TFTC
On my campground in Moeraki I saw a info about Katiki Point. Was driving there and it was amazingly good. Was there at 11AM and again at 3PM and saw a lot of seals and also in the afternoon two penguins. That was much better than at the Otago Peninsula.
Thanks a lot.
A wooden lighthouse is worth a point.

A nice quick find. We rushed a wee bit as there was another group about to leave the carpark. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee drive to Invercargill and back. Today we made it as far as Owaka, very windy in places and it got hotter the further south we went.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.
