Logs
We found this one but didn't log so we won't claim it as a find. We rode our bikes along the Trail nearby but didn't have the necessary spare water to complete the task. Thanks.
Hello neighbours walking your dog! I too am on a leisurely walk with the ubiquitous water bottle.
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Came prepared and the cache was soon in hand. The log book was a little worse for ware. Thanks AussieGuy007 for the cache.
Support Your Local VillainLive - Laugh - LurkFirst To Find: 190Sidetracked Cache Finds: 141International EarthCache Day 2024 was the perfect excuse to get out and explore! I had an awesome time caching with my buddy Rebel Acts, starting early to make the most of the day.As always, it was a great day of caching. Here's one of the caches we found. Thanks for the cache!
Needed to stretch my legs today so got my muggle partner to drop me off here as a starting point for caching the Tuckey Track and walking back to Rye. Luckily I read the cache notes before I got here so I came prepared with my water bottle. I have done a few library caches in Tas but this was very different - no leafing through the pages of endless books here! Took a bit to get the lid off but luckily found a useful tool nearby. What an excellent cache which definitely deserves a fav point. Thanks AussieGuy007. Hopefully you saw me on the camera giving you a wave. ??
What a great idea for a cache! We stopped to buy some water bottles on the way as we had none. TFTC!
Not sure why the lid keeps getting stuck but managed to try and make it a bit easier to take off now so hopefully it doesnt get stuck again but will keep an eye on it over time. Also if you dont have access to a water bottle which is the main reason for this cache! You can use our hose in our driveway if needed as Ive mentioned in the description that you can use the hose anytime! Just remember to turn it off when finished and put it back again but the hose should reach the cache anyway. Ive also mentioned the requirements to gain access to this cache on the main information of the cache on how to access it which is water as water is the main point to access this cache! So please read the main information before finding this cache!
Great design for this cache. Found the o-ring from the container on the ground and reinstalled it. The paper roll inside may have been affected by the o-ring being missing, it is quiet fragile and probably needs attention. Enjoyed this cache.
Didn't have any water on me because we hadn't planned to grab this cache but found a solution to grab it in the end. TFTC!
It has taken us a while to get down to this one but today was the day.We read the instructions and came prepared. This allowed us to rise to the occasion. Thanks AussieGuy007 for providing us with this entertaining cache.Chiefton!!!
Down on the Peninsula for a golfing weekend, and found the time to stop here. Didn't have water, but a twig did the trick. Thanks AussieGuy007
Last time I visited I didn't have what was required so as I drove past today I did. Filled up my botta at the mentioned tap. Then notice a container on the ground behind the library, full of logs. Surely this can't be it. Open up the water pipe and there's another cache there also full of logs, signed both and put them both back in the pipe. Why there are 2 I do t know but oh well
Found with LittleBoss2 on our week in Rye. Just finished a swim and gym session at the Yawa, so it's time to cache. Quick find, great coords, thanks Aussie guy 007, we were lucky we brought the right stuff
Found with Bogonghazy whilst staying at Rye for the week. Thanks for placing the geocache clever cache
22 January 2024I drove past this on on the drive down to Point nepean, but after quickly realising what was required, I realised I don't have any water in my bottle in the car..... bugger. So then a thought arose..... I know there are taps in Point Nepean, I'll just full up my bottle there and come straight here! Brilliant plan. So after tackling my leisurely walk, I returned with the required resource, and after a quick pour, the cache was in hand! Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
Out for a drive this morning to find a few cool caches. A street library and a geocache - what a great spot. Loved the water cache. Thanks for the cache!
Awesome cache !!! Fav from me. But why is there another paper to sign in the tree ? log is a little wet but thats understandable!
A very easy find!!I wish I hadn't read the description to let ourselves figure it out a bit but still so much fun!Very clever cache. Thank you!!
Yay.. love this. A street library and a cache. What more could I want. Managed to get lid off today after struggling yesterday.A definite fave point from me
Taking advice from kpatt17 we attempted to find this cacheWe forget to bring water on our first attempt, however, we left saying wed be back!We made two quick other finds then came back with water and managed to log it.Thank You AussieGuy007 for an entertaining hide.
Found it , back this time with some refreshments, log retrieved and signed. Tftc
While in Sorrento for a family gathering, I snuck off and grabbed a couple of caches.
Thanks for your work here, AussieGuy007. Nicely done, and your community thoughtfulness is appreciated, earning a favourite point from me.
After retrieving, and signing, the log, I perused the library and took one of the books. I'll read it and place it in another street library.

Out for a walk today to do some maintenance on my caches - remembered to bring the required tool to fish this one out! Thanks for the clever hide!
Down in Rosebud for a couple of days and made the most of the opportunity to search out some caches.
I remember when the CO posted that this cache had been vandalised. I wanted to come and find it once it was repaired, and tonight was the night. I came suitably equipped with just enough Dihydrogen Monoxide to retrieve the cache.
All found in good dry condition (except for the water I put in ).
Nicely constructed and blends into the library well.
A favorite for the neat handmade construction.

Fortunately we were at the nearby, Devils Bend Reservoir when this cache came back online.
We had been wanting to do it since it was published but sadly, it was offline the last time we were in the area.
With +Wife at the wheel we headed straight down here after seeing it get enabled.
Having just left the reservoir we had everything that we needed to complete the necessary tasks. Generally I have a box of books in the car but today I didn't, so the library duties were left for a future visit. Cache and contents in pristine condition. Great to catch up with you.

I managed to get a sweet parking spot, right at GZ. n0w0rries soon had the clever cache in hand and the log book stamped. Thank you for a great cache AussieGuy007. We have found a few like this over the years.
Have finally finished rebuilding the cache so it’s good to find again! Due to the recent vandalism of my cache in early May 2023 I have made this as a premium cache now. To gain access to the cache you only need to lift the lid at the top of the tube and hold a finger on the cap at the bottom of the tube which can’t be removed as it’s glued onto the tube and then pour water into it until the physical cache has been raised to the top of the tube.

Seriously why do people think it’s okay to destroy someone’s cache which is actually located outside your own house in the driveway as this is actually my own cache and my mum just came to tell me that someone had done damage to my cache which I placed next to my street library which I’ve had in place since the 1st of December 2019 and I made this cache in January this year 2023 and it’s a fun cache as it’s a water cache so you need a water bottle to gain access to the physical cache where the logbook is.
But seriously it’s been pretty easy for people to open it up but come on!! So I’ll have to make another one now since they ruined this one!!

Disabling due to someone vandalising my cache and it’s not hard to get the top lid off the cache! Like seriously it’s right outside my house and yet someone still thinks it’s okay to destroy it!! It’s a homemade cache too so I’m going to have to make another one now!! Posted this on a couple different Facebook groups as well. Must’ve happened over the weekend I think as my parents noticed it yesterday! Will be back online again soon!

Seal had come loose and log is wet.

Thanks for this fun cache. Thankfully I’d pre-planned for this one and had the required ‘tool’ ready.
Love the library. Its a ‘favourite’ from us.

Back down the Peninsula for Easter and out for an early cycle today. What a fun cache. I should have read the description!! Headed back into Sorrento and soon found a discarded container. Back to the cache, made the extraction thanks to the nearby tap, signed and returned as found. All in good condition. Thanks for placing this cache AussieGuy007. Worthy of a fav! #1898
Down on the peninsula having a post-Easter spell (or early Easter for those in the Orthodox denominations.) Cool, wet cache. Giddy up
Cool!We nearly went past it I loved how you had to poor the water in.Thank you!
Wow! The best cache I’ve ever found! That was so much fun. Didn’t bring a pen with us so didn’t sign your log book. Well done
A nice quick find find today with good parking. Fortunately I had the required items in the car. It was a short walk to GZ before I spied the nicely built Street library with a fun attachment. Thanks AussieGuy007 for creating this cache .. a lot of fun .. a favourite point from me
I wanted to finish up the Ice Cream Adlab, so headed down this way to do that, along with some other Adlabs and trads. While I did have some water in the car, I also had a tool of the trade, and saved myself 600 ml. of water.
My thanks to AussieGuy007 for the cache.
My thanks to AussieGuy007 for the cache.
There is a lot to like about this cache
I do love a street library too.
The set up here for your water based cache was familiar. I had an empty bottle so bonus points for directing me to your hose.
Soon had the task done.
A favourite point for the experience

Off on the king of date days with SueHut.
A nicely executed cache in a nifty location. Lucky I had my drink bottle with me.
Thanks heaps, AussieGuy007!

Ooooo I love street libraries!!! We just came from an op shop with an arm full of books too
I came here without the most important ingredient , without realising it was needed, so I turnaround and go walk along the track, but as luck would have it, I found an empty bottle on the way, so I came back filled it up, signed the cache. I have left a bottle in the library in case Itwas wanted by someone else who has the same problem thank you
We had come down to Portsea to do maintenance on our cache there and once we had done that we headed to this cache. We hadn’t read the info beforehand (whoops) so looked through the library first lol. We actually had a “snooper” toy which basically has a grabber on the end of it so we used that to retrieve the cache nice and easily and dryly! Lol

After a few enjoyable hours exploring the rockpools at Sorrento back beach my husband and I stopped here to attempt this cache.
We easily located the Street Library and had a full water bottle with us but we had trouble removing the lid of the container. After a few attempts my husband went back to our car and found a few tools which greatly added us in the task. Soon the log was extracted, signed and returned, ready for the next finder.
Thank you AussieGuy007 for this cache. Unfortunately none of the books in the library interested my husband, who is an avid reader.

*Cache find # 14083.*
I was driving by this one and stopped for a look, it wasn't until I got to the cache that I remembered that I was needing some H2O, so back to the car I went to retrieve it.
Once I was back, in it went and the cache was in hand.
**Thanks to AussieGuy007 for placing this cache.**

I noticed the notification a good hour after it's publication but instinct kicked in anyway and I just rushed off to GZ full of hope of yet another potential ftf. I had the description read to me on the short drive there by my trusty sidekick and thought it all sounded very exciting and luckily we had a water bottle with us too. Upon arrival my ftf hopes quickly dwindled: GZ looked like a town meeting! Ambition gave way to the excitement of meeing new players in person - a pleasure I haven't often had before. It's always special to put a face to a name and share the joy of this awesome hobby of ours! After a good chin wag we gave the cache a go and aswell struggled with the lid initially but perseverance will do the trick: jiggle, twist! It's a great construction (all of it, also the street library box!) Well done AussieGuy007, a from us!

Woohoo!! I can't believe it but I've finally managed to get my first official FTF!! Sooo happy lol and only just scraped it in too before more finders started to turn up! As soon as I heard the notification I tried to check it but the internet didn't want to cooperate so I couldn't get it to load but from the title I had a feeling it was fairly nearby although I was in rosebud so I really didn't think I'd have a hope of getting there before everyone but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. I made it there, parked THEN I decided I'd better read the description! Oh no, do I have a water bottle? Yes! So armed with my bottle of water and stamp I set off to GZ. It was easy to find the caches hiding place and I knew what to do but no matter how much I tried I just couldn't get the top off! I ended up having to contact the CO to ask if I was doing something wrong! I kept trying to get it open and finally succeeded just as the CO came out to help it was great to meet a few more people that I haven't seen before and to have a bit of a chat! TFTC!! A FP from me!
Missed it by that much but I was lucky enough to meet the cache owner and an other cachets, it was a good day
