Now Im really getting to see the sights of Kadina this weekend, one tree after another. TFTC KezzBear, sorry to miss you over the weekend but I made a find of your caches.
A quick find out collecting a few caches while house sitting at North Beach,TFTC
Postal is good. Interesting final location. Thanks for the fun.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Fryer's day the thirtieth day of Augustus Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a lot cooler today. Still no wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Day 2 of my SA trip. Keith to Moonta with some caches to break the journey. After morning fog a delightful afternoon. Not too much traffic or wildlife to bother me.1 of 8 multis today. I love these old pillar boxes. Nice to have them as a street feature.Easy find here
Found this on a lovely weekend away, we did the Copper Parkrun Trail. Thanks for the cache!
Quick find here today cache is all goodToday courtneyrose_ and I headed to the Copper Coast to complete the Copper Trail Parkrun, after we teamed up with Morgo the Geo for a section of the abandoned railway series before continuing on to finish the remains of what we had left to find plus a few others in the area, nice day out with almost 40 caches found. Thanks for the cache
Found it! Quick solve and find while grabbing caches around Kadina this afternoon. TFTC!
TFTC KezzBear your cache Going Postal - Kadina that we found today. Camped at Alford, as the day was expected to be windy we decided to leave the Motorhome here for another day and use the geo-vehicle to cache around Kadina. Out aim was to find all the multis in town as well as any other caches that we passed by. A great day topped off by meeting one of the local COs (Dazzatron) while we completed a stage of the AL.Find Count: 17762
Not quite as easy as we had expected but made calculations workI suspect that the cache has been replaced as the hint no longer appears on applies Interesting back area of Jerusalem thanks for the cache KezzBear
TFTC nice find quick drive by out and about with geo wife LynSteNet on Australia day
TFTCOut with geo hubby Animal62 on this fine Australia Day looking caches so we can add a few more smiley faces to our maps.
Thanks so much for replacing this one. I will be there myself soon and will look into it again.
OOops Forgot to log as found, will need to get some dates of the COs upcoming visit. She will be thrilled to hear all about the new rail trail from Moonta to Kadina, then down to Wallaroo!
One of eight multi caches found in the upper YP region today, all in aid of a challenge that I am working towards. There is an old one of these in Manly, Sydney, where I used to live, but I dont think it is in service like this one is. I guess were up to CIIIR now?Given Im trying to get multi numbers right now, you can imagine my relief when I arrive at GZ and find that SpiderMonkeysMum has just replaced the cache. Thanks for this multi SaintsMadHouse/Kezz Bear, and thanks SMM!
as we wander through the land, grabbing caches and seeing the sights even occasionally catching up with friends A good day was had while grabbing these caches with lots of miles covered Thanks for placing them *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Swung past with honeysucker and replaced with a much smaller container. Will keep an eye on it, but there was a bit of muggle neighbour movement in the short time we were there. Wondering if it was deliberately removed, but time will tell. The covering natural materials were still in place.SAs Leap Year Event - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. GCA1DNA. Cant wait!!
Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.
We cycled from Wallaroo to Kadina and return collecting smilies. Then back at the van and we jumped in the GeoCruiser and drove back to Kadina to gather a few more smilies then down to Moonta to tackle a few more. Home just on sunset.
Lucky for us the sun was mostly out and the wind was not gale force. The flies were still around though and ever so annoying when they got in behind your glasses. [xx(]

Away for a few days to try and clean out Yorke Peninsula. I stayed in Moonta and went in all directions.
Today was picking up a few caches on the way to Kadina, then tidying up Kadina and then Moonta. I then made my way up to Tickera and then out to Pine Point.
Made for a long day at the wheel but the first stage was completed.

Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor. We are on the home stretch now, just a few days in the Yorke to pick up a few caches. A lovely clean cache here, thanks.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending some time in Peterbough and Minlaton we moved to Moonta to grab finds in Moonta and surrounds. Thanks for the hide.
Worked this one out yesterday before the event in Kadina but left it til today to find to fill in a day on my calendar. Headed out in my lunch break in my baking whites into the bush for the find.
Thanks for the hide

Goldy and Jimmy are back to the triangle for a couple of days for some cache maintaining, event hosting and map clearing.
Some of my family who lived in this area served in both WWI and WWII, so it seemed fitting to attend the Moonta Dawn Service to pay respects to their friends and all people who didn't return.
I also reached 3000 finds at the event on Sunday night, a good turnout and great to celebrate with the awesome people from the area!
We crunched the numbers after our event and CITO, with a quick find made at GZ.
A few prickly bushes but no blood.
Dropped some TBs.
A cool idea for for a series.
Thanks SaintsMadHouse for this multi cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3008 on the 24th of April 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

Found during a trip to the Copper Triangle for a few days. Staying at Moonta, I toured the township then headed up to Kadina and Wallaroo for a big day of caching. Great to feature these fine old postal boxes with a themed hide! Thanks for the cache SaintsMadHouse!
Find it and sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt.

Somehow we ended up ar your cache!
Nice box... at both ends! A multi that's a letterbox
Much appreciation for the cache placement SaintsMadHouse .
--------------------------------------
Do please take care out there,
it's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away
--------
Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids.
No apples or other fruit needed An apple a day doesn't keep the doctor away, we've tried that
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now...
... until next time!

GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... be there or be backward!
29.2.24 It's gone MEGA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quickly sorted and quickly found(the big shiney thing) at GZ!!! Thanks for the adventure!!!!
This afternoon I attended the lunch event and CITO down near the airport before heading up to the northern Yorke Peninsula and beyond to find a few caches and camp for the night.
After visiting the listed coordinates to determine the final location, it was a short drive to GZ for quick find.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks SaintsMadHouse for the cache.

These boxes are cool, there is one near my Mum's place that is still used, also a country town...
Quick solve, but once again had to re-trace my steps quite a way to get to GZ...

{FTF} Joint with Astro, Blackadder, Brisal5, SA Sewer Rats and ourselves.
After our big day chasing Sea Horses and other caches we had stopped in Kadina for dinner before heading back to the Rats Den prior to going our separate ways. Thankfully for us dinner was finished and we were mainly chatting when this and another cache where published, talk about being in the right place at the right time. After a small mix up the final for this cache was calculated and we were on our way to GZ.

A joint FTF for the Befuddled Puzzlers.
It was Tuesday and time for the Befuddled puzzlers to go for a Tuesday Trek.
There were 5 teams out Tuesday Trekking.
The teams were SA Sewer Rats, Muff1, Brisal5, Astro and Blackadders.
With the Sea horse finished, we made a detour to this one .
Then on to Moonta to find some more caches.
This was published whilst we were in a local pub for dinner.
A quick find for the teams today.
All caches were found and in good condition. Tftc

Today's Tuesday Trekking for members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving group saw Muffs joining us from Victoria and Astro changing some plans to make himself available.
So them, myself and Blackadders all converged on the S.A. Sewer Rat's nest where the five teams headed out towards the new Sea Horse geo art series.
As usual a few were found on the way there and then afterwards as we headed to Kadina for a meal at The Wombat. [^][^]
Getting ready to head home, bing bing bing, new caches published on YP meant we continued caching and got home very late. as you do.
The cache was published whilst we were at the Wombat for dinner. So we wandered up and got the answer for wp1. Arriving at GZ we had no luck despite the numbers of eyes looking. A quick call by the Starman to the CO and a small hiccup with the listing was discovered, corrected and we were off to GZ where a small orb spider and web blocked the direct path to GZ. So we went around and a quick find was made this time.
***Thanks SaintsMadHouse for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

So another geoart offering by the Fishy Tails group on the Yorke Peninsula.
Solving all these did not take long but when to make the trip to grab all these new hides?
the Befuddled Tuesday Trek was when.
The group set off accompanied by the Muffs for a long day grabbing all of these series where we claimed a joint silver for all but a few then to one of the local hotels for dinner where to our surprise a few more unrelated caches were published in the area which meant a re visit to Moonta to gain a few joint FTFinds. The evening ended very late which had most of us returning home around 1am.
The Group consisted of
M Muff1
A Astro
B Brisal5
B Blackadders
S S A Sewer Rats
So all the geoart series was signed as MABBS and as always each player had a part to play in finding and signing the log books.
All caches were is good condition unless stated otherwise.
This was another that was published just as we were having dinner so a quick drive to the given co ords to gather the required information. The new GZ co ords entered and off to find another FTF. Alas however nothing was hidden there A number of structures of which the hint described were thoroughly searched to no avail.
A call to the owner confirming our calculations when it was discovered a small error had been published in the description (we all make mistakes) so with a small correction we re located to the actual GZ and under torchlight the prize was discovered then retrieved by the Adder. A Joint FTF claimed by all.
