It's always fun when you have to go looking for your own cache as we were pretty sure it was still there somewhere as there had been a few recent finds but the cache was definitely not where we had placed it which was the same spot burgo78 had very kindly placed the replacement. So we looked a bit further a field and we eventually found it but it was in a much lower location.

Getting some hours up with the learning driver before she turns 17 next month we headed to Ayr for the day. Couldnt find this one in the obvious spot or in or around any of the nearby trees so put out a SOS to the CO who was happy for me to wedge a replacement in its original spot on a second visit. Thanks burdair_3 for getting me off the couch.

After QOGM 2023 in Longreach, TBU went on a round trip via Mount Isa, Burketown, Karumba, Ravenshoe, Atherton Tablelands down to Innisfail to Townsville. Now we are heading towards South back home, still refreshing our memories and collecting smileys. It was a nice variety of hides and we bumped into couple of cachers on the way. Thanks for this cache, burd-air3

This turned out to be much easier than i thought. When I parked I somehow figured it would have been hidden at the big rusty machinery, which it isn’t. Once I followed the coordinates it was an instant find.

It has been quite some time since I explored the general Burdekin region. Numerous years ago we stayed in town overnight, did a dive at the SS Yongala and enjoyed the little town a little more before continuing further. Since that time we usually only rushed through to leave as much bitumen behind us as possible with the aim of exploring locations down south. Also a few more wet visits at the Yongala followed, but all of those were made via liveaboars.
But not this time. This time I specifically took the time to enjoy the area. Well, and what better to do than searching for all these great new caches that have fairly recently been added to the map. Thank you very much burdair_3 that you have created this cache and showed me the area! Much appreciated.

With the release of the latest labyrinth challenge, and a job happening just down the road, I found myself picking up a few of your caches around Ayr.
I headed to the nearest man made structure that wasn’t peivately owned and made the quick discovery. Best I head towards the task that brought me to town
Thanks burdair_3 for the fun and challenge of locating this Traditional

[FTF] We saw this one had landed this morning so gave others the opportunity to collect an FTF. So after finishing work we could resist no more. So headed to GZ and to see what we could find. Great community service the volunteers at Landcare provide. Recommend people come down on one of their open days to have a chat and grab a plant or two. TFTC
