This was one of many finds after completing the Cowpasture reserve Parkrun. This cache was quite exposed, retrieval was a bit difficulty due to how far up it was, replaced as found, not sure that it is where it is supposed to be though.

18-Sep-24
Bored with a one-a-day streak, felt like changing things up and creep a little closer towards an upcoming milestone (with a specific cache and rough date in mind). Targeted this trail with a variety of trads, pre-solved puzzles and an AdvLab (some WPs sharing GZs) adding helpful numbers. Though very easily spotted, needed to utilise an improvised TOTT to reach. Rating more a D1/T2 or its not in the correct location??

Headed to Camden today with frazeydaze to find some caches hidden by the prominent local cachers since our last visit to the area. After doing a few caches around town we had a break for lunch before going for a wander around the Llewella Davies Walk. The local council has and are doing a great job on this walk. It'll be great when all the hundreds of saplings grow. We presumed that the pole with years indicated upon it represents the flood heights over the years. If so it sure was a monster flood in 1873.Cache all good. SLRC. TFTC Dragons2010.

So mamy people! Again, waiting for people to pass to grab....and waiting for people to leave to replace.

21-Jun-24
A quick find once at GZ, It took a while to put the cache back because of all the muggles around. After putting the cache I met Quiffle at GZ. TFTC.

21-Jun-24
So many muggles today on this corner had to pretend to take photos of the cows another easy find. TFTC

21-Jun-24
Lots of muggles, no problems, just waited for a break. But damn, the person in front of me must be tall cause I had to leap like Michael Jordan to get that sucker! TFTC

21-Jun-24
Arrived at GZ to encounter groupsof muggles passing by with annoying frequency. Became aware that one such was actually lingering suspiciously heightened by eTrex SE clipped to shoulder strap.Casual conversation resulted in mutual identification. Enjoyed remainder of walk with Crux224, who was nursing found cache and very patiently waiting for an opportunity to return it. Eventually logged and replaced. Got it as high as we were able neither of us particularly tall. (Apologies to the girls who followed us if that made getting it a bit hard)Thanks Dragons2010. Thats a bright idea for a cache!!

13-Jan-24
I've heard a little about the larger project of which the path upgrades here are a small part, so I was very interested to have a look at where the future path might go. So interested, in fact, that I failed to notice the large section of concrete already poured nearby.I'm glad I didn't interfere while llama_boy looked in the usual place to find a cache in a location like this - I was quite surprised when he found one. Once the log was signed, the cache was restored to the correct place.

13-Jan-24
Walked up to GZ and started the search. Rassilon256, who had found it previously, didn't give anything away. I found it, but rassilon256 advised that was not where he had found it. The log was signed while he did some research and we decided to return it to the original, correct location.

06-Jan-24
Following the Miss Llewella Davies Pioneer Walk, I looked ahead and saw the next cache was at the point where the path turns sharply to follow the river. Great! I popped my phone back into my pocket and enjoyed the green spaces and bird songs around me. Arriving at the turn in the path, I stopped beside one of the bench seats and looked over at something while teaching for my phone, and laughed - I'd looked right at the cache! I didn't need the GPS or the map after all! I still needed a tott to retrieve it, but it wasn't too difficult. After signing I ended up having to wait for a muggle to pass, but once they had moved on it was the work of a few seconds to get it back in place - still needed my tott though. All looks good here. TFTC!

04-Jan-24
Clever hiding spot!

23-Dec-23
This was a challenge. TFTC a quick find along our journey.

10-Nov-23
Well I certainly wasn't expecting it to be there, and definitely not the first place I checked. No need to be inside the temporary fence either. TFTC

08-Nov-23
Tried for this for about 10 minutes on both sides of the fence so will have too read the other logs for a few hints, maybe next time I walk this way. Thanks

11-Aug-23
We are on a short (three day) caching holiday in and around Camden, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Poplar Tourist Park in Elderslie. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and find as many different cache icon types as we can to go towards this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" souvenir chase. The homeward journey will be via Galston, where we have pre-booked tickets for the Sunday running of the Hornsby Model Engineers Galston Valley Model Railway. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.

Today (day 1) we travelled out to Camden, going via the A3 Arterial and M5 Motorway, then took a short diversion along Bringelly Road for a Letterbox cache and a SideTracked cache, before following Camden Valley Way down to Camden. Stopped for some caches along Camden Valley Way, including a Virtual cache, before arriving at our accommodation in Elderslie. After checking in at the caravan park we drove into town and did a loop walk around the 2.3 kilometre Miss Llewella Davies Pioneer Walkway. This was the 20th of 22 finds for the day (day 1), and 20th find of the holiday.

Continuing along the Miss Llewella Davies Pioneer Walkway and this was the next cache we came to, making a nice quick & illuminating find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Dragons2010.

Same again. Forgot the pen. Cheers.

05-Aug-23
Found it.

02-Aug-23
A nice quick find with geowife as we saw it on approach. Were a little unlucky with muggles on this one which required to us to take a bit of a break on the seat until the backs of the muggles were facing us. A quick run and grab and sit back down for the signing. Returned back to its location and off we go. TFTC.

02-Aug-23
Out for another find with Gundrills. TFTC

30-Jul-23
A quick trip to Campbelltown/Camden to pick up some puzzles and the newest caches today

20-Jul-23
It was a bit of a crisp, frosty morning, but the sun was warm on this walk. It was a good morning for a bit of a stretch.
Thanks for the cache.

14-Jul-23
Well, what a wonderfully lovely (yes it needed 2 superlatives) day... brought about by the generosity of two of the most generous geocachers I know... Dan & Sue from SueDan83... your kindness has given me some fantastic geocaching memories and I thank you.

Dan and I had spent the day visiting "The Red Hands Cave". Now it was time for Sue to be my guide and to take me for an enjoyable walk around the Llewlla Davies Walk... Dan was there but he was on a VERY important geocaching planning phone call.

Well that was a bit tricky... and our TOTT was still on the phone... so ingenuity kicked in to retrieve and replace this one. Thanks

After a 10km walk at Glenbrook with HappyUke where we completed at least 20km of conversation, we somehow had enough energy to complete this walking track late this afternoon. And what a pleasant walk with the sun setting it still remained pleasantly warm and after completing the last cache in this series, the orange sky above the horizon was a treat to see. Only about an hour to complete this walk, but we still managed to fit in over 2 hours worth of conversation. TFTC Dragons2010
Whilst I was on me phone, HU creatively retrieved the cache and then more creatively replaced it. Impressive.

Not being able to go for my regular weekend runs due to an annoying tail end of a URTI, I headed out this way to pick up a few new caches that have appeared over the last month or so.
Moving up to this next hide, I recalled being here before the floods with my wife and mother in law, and taking a seat here while I went down to the river. We also spoke at length about the lady who gave this area to the community! What an unbelievable opportunity she has given to us! But this time, all that were here was a small group of disinterested bovines, and do the search ensued.
This time, my device was being most unkind to me, quite literally leading me up the garden path (and also off it). So I took a seat to gather my thoughts and curse my device, but what that I see? Oh, ok.
Collection successfully performed, signing completed, replacement executed!

Coming down from After the Floods I spied two suss people at this cache, Bunny and Brew! I helped them out with the replacing the cache and found out I was accidentily headed to an event nearby! Thanks

Nice to see recycling at its best and not where I first looked, but after seeing a further 10m on gps then I realised where I needed to be

Continued my walk around to here. I spotted the cache from a good distance away. After retrieval I had to wait the muggles to pass to replace. It was lovely listening to the birds.

TFTC.

I must say, it's a pity no dogs are allowed out here. My geodog would love this walk and she wouldn't realise the cattle are there - much less do anything that might upset them.

A lovely spot for a sit down here, although not when it's been raining and night is imminent. The phone GPS was leading me to a good spot for a cache but I didn't want to go there so I checked another good spot. It wasn't there so I was about to check the original spot. As I did saw something at the periphery of my vision and my eyes lit up - the cache! Retrieve and return were a bit of a stretch for me but not too taxing.

I also saw a kookaburra in a nearby tree as I left this cache. Which is of course nice.

A geocheck reveals something has become detached after last finder, temoarily disabled, to do maintenance , then will be returned

22-Jun-23
An adjustment to the holding device is being done after it went missing, will return it tomorrow

22-Jun-23
Geocache had become detached, appears after a previous finder, and part was left inside, but CO wasn’t advised. After a visit to the nearby hardware store , running repairs carried out and returned to its original position. Good to go

20-Jun-23
Spotted it upon approach, quickly signed and replaced. TFTC

(5 of 5 today)Decided to head down to Camden today for some calendar finds And not for the first time, I'm after caches placed on the *Llewella Davies Walk*.Decided to grab only the first five and leave the others for a future day.Always a pleasant walk here.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Thought I knew where it was going to be, but spotted nothing. Hold on - it's a magnet. So looked down and made the find.Completed signing duties and decided to hide it at the base of the pole - adding a little camo.Well, this certainly had less of a wade through long grass than the last hide near here.SLTNLNTFTC

Thanks Dragons2010 for placing this cache

Found while out with The Booos today this was a beautiful day for the walk TFTC

17-Jun-23
Came along here with ilook4geo and we coincidently met up with The Booos. So we did the walk and a lot of talk too. It is always fun to go caching with good company. This was an easy find and all signed the log. Thanks for the cache go to Dragons2010.

17-Jun-23
Came for a walk with goingplaces2, but met The Booos as well. We all wandered along together, talked and found the caches along the way. It was interesting to see how high the floods had come as indicated by the debris on the fences and in the trees. Signed the log and continued the walk. TFTC.

On such a beautiful sunny winters day, it would be a travesty not to get outside and make the most of it. Having seen this new set of caches published earlier in the week, we decided to stay local and head over to Camden to take a stroll along the recently re-opened Llewellyn Davies walk. It is such a pleasant and peaceful track and GGCoconut, HJCoconut and I spent a really enjoyable hour or so spotting cows, horses, ducks, planes, gliders and even a helicopter in between finding caches.

We parked up the Camden town farm end and did the geo trail in reverse.

There is a danger sometimes in making assumptions about how a cache is hidden. Like others, GGC and I initially got down low to search the obvious structure with no luck. After checking a couple of logs I then made another (incorrect) assumption as to where it must be. I was in the process of scratching my head when I suddenly spotted it. Wow! That was unexpected! What a bold hide, and yet as CB666 says, it doesn't necessarily look out of place. But god, how do we get it?!! Well, teamwork makes the dreamwork. An interesting cache container too - I do like sustainability.

A FP here for the 'in plain sight' hide and for the series in general.

Thanks very much for the cache and for contributing to this series along the LDW - wonderful to have this local mini trail in place.

15-Jun-23
Tftc. GPS had us where we thought was the obvious spot but after careful consideration on our hands and knees (thank goodness for winter and long pants) and no find we widened the search. As I turned around I saw the cache, now how to reach it, with both Mobsey and I being short. Lucky there was a natural TOTT to get it down.

15-Jun-23
Found with Mrs Jaybeem! on our afternoon walk. Just managed to get this one before sunset. Initially we were looking in an obvious spot until Mrs Jaybeem turned around & spotted it. We are both vertically challenged but managed to get it. Another favourtie point for this one. TFTC
