Found with hevwalker and puponyx, a quick find after a short walk. Puponyx is honing his cache finding skills on this cache finding day together. The level of the river is definitely the highest I've ever seen it, hopefully they will unclog and open the mouth soon before we get any further rain. At the carpark in Nelson it is really showing how high it has got with even the bins and seats having an extreme water view....lol. (Photos attached) Shacks are getting wet feet more than normal and some will have problems getting their boats in or out of their sheds. TFTC Robmc.

Today scramping & I together with my pup Onyx, decided it was time to go caching together, it's been a while. We headed for Nelson. The fishing shacks or at least their boat sheds are under a bit of water at the moment.TFTC Robmc

Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on. SA caching foray. Staying in Mount Gambier for a week to grab some of the local hides. Its been sixteen years since since we were last here so enjoying the re-visit. Love the country roads caching. Thanks for the hideLNCU

We are travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are in Beautiful Mt Gambier for a few days, soaking up the amazing things this area offers. We especially love the bush, the back roads, and the wild southern seas. Nice and hidden but was good little container

Pretty easy to find

I was spending a few days in Portland with Dad and spotted a few new caches in Nelson that had been published since our last visit there. We decided to go to the pub for lunch and after a great meal pub we headed off on our quest.We approached this one with a little bit of care as we're in dads small Toyota and after all the rain we were not sure how it would go but it turned out to be no problem at all. We pulled up close to gz and saw that the houses there one undergoing a lot of restoration at the moment. This one turned into a nice easy find right where the GPS said it was and our names have been added to the log and all returned as it was.Many thanks Robmc For bringing us here and we are happy to hear the river houses can stay a little longer

30/12/2023 2:24:00 PMI took a drive over to Nelson to make a find for the end of 2023 souvenir and managed to bag 3.Lots of vehicles parked around the shacks at this time of year, fortunately I made a quick find due to excellent coords.Thanks RobmcFind recorded using GCDroid and logged using GSAK

Could t find it the first time so the second time around I brought reinforcements. We are staying at a nearby holiday house for the Christmas holidays and decided to get this one. GPS was going crazy for me but my helper quickly found the cache. Thanks for giving us things to do on our holiday. Tftc

Weve been to Nelson before this was to collect Big Little Event caches. Looks like most of those are gone now so it was great to see 4 new caches and an AL here so made the stop off to collect.This was the first of the 4 and was a nice quick find. TFTC Robmc

We have been camping with friends at Nelson for a few days. Man it was busy here this weekend - to be expected on a very long weekend I guess. Why is there always a fire here? TFTC
