Found with hevwalker and puponyx, very interesting information, didn't realise this was here. It took us a while to find this one, widened our search, going round and round and back and forth but eventually we spotted the well hidden cache. TFTC Robmc
Today scramping & I together with my pup Onyx, decided it was time to go caching together, it's been a while. We headed for Nelson. An interesting place. There were a few places this cache could have been hiding but soon located it.TFTC Robmc
We are travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are in Beautiful Mt Gambier for a few days, soaking up the amazing things this area has to offer. We especially love the bush, the back roads, and the wild southern seas. TFTC LNCU.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on. SA caching foray. Staying in Mount Gambier for a week to grab some of the local hides. Its been sixteen years since since we were last here so enjoying the re-visit. Love the country roads caching. Thanks for the hideLNCU

Interesting relics here.Last of the Nelson hides and the trickiest as the cache was in leaf litter out of its hide.Back secure now.Cheers

Suscoe was heading to Millicent this morning but we had a little bit of time to catch up with the Nelson caches.It was a delightfully cool morning which was appreciated.Thanks to Robmc for this hide.We enjoyed exploring this historical location.
Took a bit to find but got there in the end. On our way to Adelaide for the mega
Bullertrout, Nanzie and i are 3 Nelsonian's from New Zealand caching our way to Adelaide for the mega. So of course we had to stop and see the Victorian version of our city. Beautiful wee town. Picking up what we can in the time available, this took longer than in should have. All logs are being signed as BT, N, PC or some variation of that to save space. TFTC #15192

I was spending a few days in Portland with Dad and spotted a few new caches in Nelson that had been published since our last visit there. We decided to go to the pub for lunch and after a great meal pub we headed off on our quest.We pulled up at a very interesting looking gz and started our search. We have to admit this one took us a lot longer than it should have but it was great having a look at the old equipment here.We did eventually locate the very nice hide and our names have been added to the log and all returned as it was.Many thanks Robmc for the informative cache page and the hide.3k is an unbelievable depth to have bored back then, shame it was for no return.
30/12/2023 3:37:00 PMI took a drive over to Nelson to make a find for the end of 2023 souvenir and managed to bag 3.Finally muggle free.A bit of deja vu, I found a cache very nearby 11 years and 1 day ago.Thanks RobmcFind recorded using GCDroid and logged using GSAK
Such interesting history here! We would not have come past here if it had not have been for this cache. Despite the GPS taking us all over the place we decided to go old school, using our geosenses and eventually came across the cache. Tftc.
Weve been to Nelson before this was to collect Big Little Event caches. Looks like most of those are gone now so it was great to see 4 new caches and an AL here so made the stop off to collect.This was the third of 4 and took a good 20 minutes to locate. Hint - not hanging!! TFTC Robmc
We have been camping with friends at Nelson for a few days and jumped on the bikes to collect the two over the river. Not boring at all. Cheers
