OCW the Geo-parents, the Wp1 info had been sitting on my map for ages, and today was the day that I finally got the chance to get over to the Mosman area to collect WP1 and the final. great cache, worthy of a FP from me.
Found today with GeoMonkeyAU and vk2df. Jeez GeoMonkeyAU is good at tree climbs. TFTC
We "took a step back" and had this one solved quite some time ago, so today we stopped off for a visit to final GZ, while we were in the middle of doing the new "Towerverse" MultiCache with GeoMonkeyAU and GeoLorikeet.GeoMonkeyAU lived up to his geoname again at this one, and soon had the hide uncovered and CIH. TNLNSL, and then he returned the cache container as found. Now it's back to the Towerverse, which still has a FTF on offer, so no time to waste. Thanks GHHH for the puzzle & cache.Find #7125
But teachers can detect AI because it sounds so different from your tone ~ EthisEthatI use ChatGPT so much its become my tone ~ Anonymous School Friend*Ah, that makes sense ~ EthisEthatGHHH was rather surprised I hadnt solved this one yet.So am I really, I definitely looked at it, knew how to solve it and I guess I just didnt? Why is beyond me.So with that revelation, I solved it in the car on the way to WP1.It took CO help because my eyes are in tip-top condition. Not terrible at all.You could say my vision is useful even Once I realised my mistake the checker turned green and a ? turned into a Off to WP1 where the suspicious item was soon spotted and subsequently we were directed to WP2.Ran up the tree to go snag the container. Sweet!Signed while up on the perch and back down I go. Sick tree, gets a favourite for that, fantastic stuff. Thanks for this splendid step Googlehihihi!*If you stalk my logs, that anonymous school friend just so happens to be the same one who was jumping on the shelf some time ago. Some real EthisEthat lore right there
Not going to log this as a find. I solved the first part in Perth, Western Australia, 2048 miles West of the given coords. Cant get anything out of Google Maps Street View in terms of WP1 so Im going to give up there. Might try and solve the rest of this puzzle whenever I next go to Sydney. Thanks for the puzzle though
Today we started our adventure at the zoo where we did the loop of 5 there, then while having a snack at the cafe there, we figured the information for this cache being the easiest by D and T ratings of this mystery series. After editing the photo to help spot the numbers, we got the info required to make our way to WP1. At WP1 we didn't look at the hint and thought that a magnetic advertisement was the cache, either a coincidence or a well placed decoy. Anyway after the hint helped us we got the final info for the nearby GZ. Getting to the cache some muggles gave us some weird stares and jokes, but none the less, we managed to log the cache on the rather empty-ish log book before we were on to the last cache of the day. Thanks GHHH for this one, I don't know if I will be able to finish the series but I will certainly try!TFTC, #179**Favourite Point awarded**
Good walk the plank and also these canberran kids were too munted to do it and made us be their slave labour ??????ogged #66
Clever use of the structure at WP1. Loci scaled the tree at GZ. The angle and length of the tree made for a rewarding challenge.Found with Loci612 during a Sydney weekend trip! TFTC
Enjoyed this cache a lot! Another geocaching friend also sent me a similar image and said it would make a good puzzle, young people think alike! Also pigeoncam is capping, I was the FIRST and ONLY one to actually get the full length up the tree and touch the container to sign the log! So boooo to you! The others formed a line behind me on the trunk! T3 is too low for me though, these types of climbs I find really difficult and scary! I find most T4.5 Tree Climbs easier than this! Good for something different though, and actually a lot of funI have completely run out of favourite points for the first time I can remember....hmmph. I did really like the puzzle, WP1, and the unique climb at GZ as well as the container size. Maybe once I come back from Adelaide powertails & I remember, I will add a favourite point later. Remind me if you like!Found with Muppet95 during a Sydney weekend trip! Thanks GHHH
Solved the first stage of this puzzle by standing back and having a think about it, and a look. Getting a good angle on this gave me the info needed to get the WP1 coordinates. Went to WP1 and quickly found the info needed to go one step further forwards, or was it a step back because it didn't give coordinates. It did however, give a clear description of where to look, including a spoiler photo of the CO making a galah of himself. Time to scale the heights to get CIH. Stepped back in time with Martin Cousins, Brewmaker, It's Dozzie and Jackscruff TFTC GHHH
On a visit to see Richard Glover at the Orpheum Theatre tonight, we met up to complete this puzzle. Grabbed the necessary info at WP1 and headed nearby to GZ.A team effort in retrieving and replacing the cache. This included the Brewladder, a climber, a navigator, a support team and a thrower to get back into it's hidey hole. No cachers or cache containers were harmed in the process. TFTC
I had a lot of trouble seeing the numbers as my office isn't big enough to step back sufficiently to see them. Finally a visitor happened to stand in the right spot to see something, and the checker liked it. This afternoon I met up with geobuddies Martin cousins, Brewmaker, EverestHigh and Its_Dozzie to complete the puzzle and make find.Googlehihihi I hope you check this hide VERY REGULARLY as native species may be deprived of a place to breed by this cache placement - not a very environmentally friendly hide.TFTC # 5646
#12864 16:10On our way to the Orpheum for a book presentation by Rochard Glover. We could not resist the temptation for a few cache in this area. Together with Martin Cousins, Jackscruff, Everest High and Brewmaker we took a step back and noted the hide. After logging I managed to throw the cache right back into its hiding hole. Call it a lucky shot.TFTC GHHH.
Completed my last job for the day sort of close to here, decided to give it a crack, so headed off for this tree climb.Met up with Brewmaker, Its_Dozzie, Jackscruff and Everest High at WP1. Made short work of the 10 letters but as suggested, we gave a likely option a crack.Up and had CIH and passed it down, quite a few attempts were made from below to replace before Its_Dozzie made a hole in one, thanks GHHH
Out on another Friday frolic with PPE and found ourselves here in the rain. Well, there was noone else to find here really. PPE spotted my mistake in picking the wrong WP1 in the dark and I spotted his in picking the wrong checker. I did he climb for a change and he, the paperwork. I had fun. Worth a fave. Thanks GHHH.
Out with Baktrak for the usual Friday night frolics. Found the WP without issue and even in the dark was able to spot GZ. A quick clamber resulted in CIH.Nice puzzle.SL TFTC
[FTF] @ 14:30When we noticed this cache was published, realised that already many people have solved it and the FTF could come any minute so quickly onto solving it. A D1.5 but still took some time to solve. We were certain of 4 of the numbers however werent sure of the second and third number. After some advice from the CO we figured out one of the other numbers, and from there we quickly got the WP1 coordinates. Quickly went to GZ where the camouflage was found in a nice spot. Inputed the next stage into Certitude, and luckily we were the first to do so. Onto the GZ, where the cache was quickly found with the hint. A fun climb, great tree. Hope to see more of these puzzles and good trees. TFTC
