Find 3340Out today picking up some local caches. No muggles and a close park we begin our search. The gps was not really helping us as it wouldnt settle.Anyway with the hint it was just sticking to the task. After about 15 minutes the cache spotted. So obvious but still not easy to see.Log signed and all back safe again.
Found this geocache on my second attempt. Finally located and signed the log. Thanks for the cache!
Yay, for a difficult cache, which took a while to search and spot. Yet in the right spot is easy to see. Thanks to the CO for bringing me to this nice park.
With dot558 Walked down the fence out of site of people with rspcaStill had to stand in right spot
**26/05/2024, 15:12:00****Find #5840****Traditional Find #3459**I've been saving this cache for a day when I needed a find, its within walking distance from home, and today is such a day. After the fog from this morning cleared, we were left with a magnificent autumn afternoon. Blue sky, sun and no wind. There were three people in the playground but they paid no attention to me. Only around two hours before sunset and with the sun already low in the north western sky, it helped me spot the cache. For a cache with no camo, it didn't give up without a fight, still I had in around five minutes. A brisk walk back home and its now time for some afternoon tea. **Thank-you to MattysGeoAus for placing this geocache**
Found it , on our arrival there were too many people about to have any sort of a look. So off for some lunch instead. Came back to no one here and was able to sneak in and find and sign. Tftc
I found this cache today on a quick trip out to Cranbourne. A newish cache to the area and I had the place to myself. Once in place, it took me a number of stand and look places before I stood in the right spot. Thanks from D B-A
HmmmIm still processingYes, every time I come to Casey these days, I walk away with much to process. So what actually is family? And why does it keep bringing me back to Casey??Yes, it had certainly been a really big day.In a most significant week.During a particularly huge month. In a memorably massive year.In this incredibly monumental decade. But, importantly, today was different.Yes, it had actually been a GOOD day - despite it now being night. As Heymissjo would understand, somehow it was just another day, but one that will be remembered. And one of the things I remembered was noticing that the sun seemed to finally break through an eternal cloud to shine on a certain pasture where sheep were grazing. And a couple of familiar rams began to uncharacteristically move in the right direction - clearly neither of the rams were called Mercury. No, I think these ones were Jove and OuranusPerhaps Ill get them name tagsIn any event, the respite of the sunny break and, consequently, the movement of the rams, both gave me reason to smile.Much like this cache.Yes, its been too long since I crept around in the dark, in cold, damp conditions. I was lucky this werewolf bane was spotted immediately. The cache was found in good condition, signed, and then returned with the assistance of only the ambient street lighting.I really must get back to my night-caching.Ive very much missed it.Maybe Ill get a chance at the end of this rather monumental decadeI wonder what my family will look like thenAnd what connection will they have to Casey??I suppose by then it might be time to ask Jove and Ouranus to share their thoughts again! Thanks to MattysGeoAus for placing this smiley.
Luckily it was a warm sunny afternoon as this one would be a bugger if it had been wet or its raining. It can be seen from outside, but you have to be lucky to see it at that correct angle. Not one to access in your Sunday best.
Why oh why did this take me so long! ? I ducked in, around, behind and could not see it... so with patience and not relying on the gz hot spot, I finally found it. Right there, practically in my face - lol!!! So as I was signing the log, I could hear some peeps approaching the play equipment, damn! I'm going to look highly suss, emerging from the gz area... so I waited till they faced the other direction, I stealthfully leaped out like a fox and casually made my way to the path, pretending to listen to 'someone' on my phone as I passed... yeah awkward... but I think it worked - lol. That was number 3 for my mini leap year discovery! Tyftc!
Thankfully the place was empty and a nice quick find was had. Thanks MattysGeoAus for the cache.
We found our way to this nice little park and after fiddling around for a while we headed further in and found what we were looking for. Thanks MattysGeoAus for placing this cache here for us to find.Chiefton!!!
{FTF}Captain's Log #61Well this was a surprise one indeed, here I was driving back to the office in Frankston South, when suddenly a message from Brain comes through "all yours go for the streak fodder", so saving me a drive up north and a possible FTF, how could I say no. On arrival I noticed that the Co-ords were trying to take me into private property but knowing that it was clearly along the fence line. So here I began.... looking, looking looking..... where is it? Suddenly a figure appears "The loonies" had joined in for the hunt. Now with another pair of eyes we were scouring the area but still couldn't spot it. With time passing my search companion had to call it quits and left it back to me to finish the job. It was then I messaged the CO to inform them about the co-ord situation. and after a little back and forth, a more accurate idea of the location was determined and shortly following the sneaky little cache was spotted...... how did I miss that. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
