Logs
Oldmorty and I had a selection of caches north of the Parramatta River to find today and all were found! Found the entrance form the roadside down to the bridge and as I was searching one side, Oldmorty pulled the cache out and we were soon back up the hill. TFTC!
Woohoo finally found one of the COs caches on the Tambourine Creek Walk Headed over the bridge today with morty8888 to grab some caches on a list which he had prepared. Unbeknown to him I'd previously visited this cache and searched for way to long without luck. Today we walked down to the small bridge and I lent on the rail and immediately sighted the cache container which is all good. SLRC as found. TFTC jackscruff.
After some DNFs I was hesitant in looking for this one. In the end, I found it after ignoring the hint (as some previous logs said to). Tftc!
(1 of 2 today)I was after five finds today for my calendar, but I was busy, left things too late, ran out of time and only got two.Oh well - that's 3 I'll need this day next year.Did manage to grab both caches I went for near Lane Cove - albeit with some to-ing and fro-ing at the first stop.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Parked close to the steps and made my way down - to be passed by a jogger just before getting to the bridge. Fortunately, he was the only muggle I saw as I went from one spot to another trying to get a glimpse of the container.15 mins, I'm sure I've checked all the possible spots, but nothing.Hmmm.So decided I needed a fresh perspective and... How did I miss that? Nicely hidden.Completed signing duties, replaced and headed for my other target.SLTNLNTFTC
Found some time to get out and about and do a few caches. GPS wanted to further up the hill but intuition said otherwise and and after finding the little cache, the GPS agreed too. Always a nice area for a wander. Thanks Jackscruff.
Took a while but pleased to add this cache to my brief caching spell after visiting Bunnings. TFTC Jackscruff!
After yesterday's log by the Vikings I have been down and checked on the cache. It was indeed not where it was originally hidden.I have put it back in it's original position, which is out of sight to passing walkers. Please replace the cache where you found it, on it's attachment point.Thank you.
Arriving at GZ we were about to search around for the cache, when we noticed the bison tube lying on the handrail of the bridge. After having signed the log, we hid it a bit more, but not knowing exactly where it was supposed to be, we suggest that the CO attend and put it to where it belongs.
What sort of hint was that ? Was quite the opposite to the hint, luckily Im in work clothes.Im all dirty just to get my hands on it. Unsure of what trickery or black magic, but thanks for the hide Jackscruff
When I read the clear hint, I was pretty confident I should be able to find this one but nope. Is it at the bridge or not? GZ ends up at a tree further up the path for me. No luck there either. Some other day maybe...
TFTC from the Kayakviking! Had never walked this side of the creek b4. Nice wander and cleared all the caches!Cheers KV
Took longer than it should have because I was expecting something a little different. TFTC SL.
Flying solo today (Ms Atalanta is at work), I walked along this track which I last walked some years ago, before these caches were placed. Coordinates put me about 8m from the cache. However, I thought it through and found the cache after a bit of searching.TFTC
Visiting Lane Cove from Japan. Went with my nephew to take my sisters dog for a walk & find some caches at the same time. TFTC!
i was going at attempt a FTF yesterday but the rain and unpredictable bus schedule was a little too much for how unprepared i was. tonight its clear and dry, and with a torch packed in my work backpack I made the trip down to what im sure this is a very nice walk during the day but its a bit spooky by torchlight ??TFTC Jackscruff!! quick find in a very good hiding spot
