Out with cccl23 for a day of caching, primarily targeting caches North and North/East of the Adelaide CBD.This cache was quickly found and log stamped TFTC
Owl was out on errands and had a little time to go caching between appointments. This one took far longer than it should have due to a poor parking choice and then complete cache blindness, despite having a good idea of what she was looking for. Fortunately, the cache eventually revealed itself.
A quick find after a relaxing drive into the hills and back.TFTC HeapsGoodTomKeep smiling
Rock the casbar.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Freyja's unlucky or not thirteenth day of the septimus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit cooler today. Not so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. A quick find! This will be a good cache to introduce the Scouts. and Guides to caching. TftC! Another fun afternoon of caching done. Caching out!
Something special or unusual goes here:A nice quick find. Just what I was expecting and just in the place i expected to find it. That DOES NOT happen very often. The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday Trek for some Puzzle solvers. I picked up Mrs. Sewer Rats and then went and picked up Ttrogg. Our target today was to cache our way towards Mawson Lakes for an event later in the day. Of course we detoured and made stops for various unfound caches along the way. Another great day with some TOTTs required, ***Thanks HeapsGoodTom for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Woo Hoo another Tuesday trekking for three confused puzzlers. The plan was for the Starfish to pick up the Rat from her nest, and head up to pick up ttrogg. It was a lovely day to go caching. This was the fist cache for the Rat, for today. The starfish quickly located the cache. We stamped the logbook and replaced as found. Out and about getting driven by my son to increase his hours on his Learners permit. Killing two birds with one stone, we stopped for a few geocaches along the way. Having read some previous logs, I was able to make a quick find. All good here. Thank you HeapsGoodTom & oflights, for placing Scouting Rocks for the geocaching community.# # #15132 # #
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Saw this one published a week into our 9 week sojourn into NSW so it just had to wait until we returned. Then on our return we got busy, but today I had to head to the shops and on the way a small detour was made. Parked nearby and while wandering over to GZ, read the cachec notes. got to where the GPS wanted me but was finding nothing. HMMM. Widened the search area and finally found the cache a few metres from where GPS wanted me. Signed the log and replaced as found.Gratias pro cache HeapsGoodTom
Found during a caching trip out to the north-eastern suburbs to clear up a cluster of caches that I've been meaning to do for ages. Most caches were found relatively quickly and were in good condition. Thanks for the cache HeapsGoodTom & oflights!
I agree with OzG and Otter, so came when least likely to be seen lingering around a Scout Hall, at 0815hrs..That's the podium filled.TNLNSL
FTF (Forth to Find) After a Clayton's blood donation.. went to donate for the fiftieth time, but due to a heart issue, they wouldn't take my blood. Quick find. Thanks for the hide.
{FTF} at 1239 ??????????????????Was on the phone to a lapsed cacher when my watch told me about this one. The call was nearly at an end and when it was realised how close it was the call was quickly terminated and it was out to the car. Knew where I was going to park and it wasn't long before the search was started. After some reading I guessed what I was looking for and assumed I knew where it would be. The guess was right but the assumption was wrong, so the find was not as quick as it should have been, but it was found, and the log was still pristine. Soon fixed that, left as found and headed home to try and catch up with some other logging. Thanks to HeapsGoodTom & oflights for this cache
So close to my home and here I am on the Gold Coast. Never fear Ttrogg will be there soon.
