Another 13 year old cache lost to the gods!
There really needs to be community caching on these old ones instead of the easy option of asking for them to be archived!!!

On a quiet Sunday morning we had ample opportunity to find this. Read the hint, read logs and found the likely location. But even after some time looking and feeling in all possible locations we left without a smiley.
I had a really good look, late at night, well lit, no one around. Very confident I found the supposed hiding spot, but no Cache- bumma. Great spot though!!
Found the hide from the previous entries..but cache is no longer there..spent 20 mins looking and nothing..
Found a few days ago but unfortunately had no internetacces to log the cache

After giving the red herring steps, not enough, the once over just in case, managed to find what I'm sure were the right steps.
With no-one around at this time of day managed quite a good look/feel but no cache was found.
Considering the last logs it might be time for the owner to check this one out.
Thanks for the hunt Team Galaxy Quest

Several of my friends have been trying to get into geocaching and couldn't find it, So I brought my inspection camera and ran it through all three steps, and down into the pit bellow. Plenty of cigarette butts and packets but no sign of a cache.
Late at night with lots of security cameras around, the Bear had a reasonable look but no joy today.
Spent half an hour to find this one. I hope no one dropped it cause I touched every corner of the two steps, under the three steps, around the gutters, in the angles and so on at 22:30 when it was raining with no muggles at all and I didn't find anything ...
Another well thought out urban cache where you need to consider both the clues around you and the cache name. TFTC.
Quick easy find. Had to wait out a muggle to finish his smoke before retrieving the cache. Cache and logbook are dry. Logbook is full but managed to find a spot to sign. SL TFTH TFTC No room for swaps or drops. Replaced cache as found, thanks Team Galaxy Quest for bringing me to this area of Adelaide.
Great spot for a cache, loved the clues! Easy to retrieve quite well hidden from the office smokers. Tftc
[Cache 3] Didn't think I was going to find it! I can see the windows of the floor where I work from here, and it is a peaceful, friendly place to have lunch during the week... but has a completely different, eerie atmosphere at 6.30pm on a Sunday. Found the cache, it's a great one! But pleased to be outta here, now LOL
GPS way off but keep looking there are not to many sets of 3 steps that go no where.
Found with steamer531. The geocaching map page is accurate, my gps was way out. TFTC
In Adelaide for work - what else is there to do at lunch time?? Quick find while dodging muggles.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Tried this one a few times and always muggled out of it. Tonight heading into town and it was very quiet. Not a muggle to be seen. Found the cache in the second place I looked. Signed log and replaced. Gratias pro cache.
Cool little nook in the middle of downtown. Although my partner spotted it immediately, so maybe hide it a bit better away from muggles
Just follow your nose ... so many bloody smokers. GPS was way off, but easy find with help of some of the photos.
Cute hide. Definitely do some exploring as coordinates off. Can manage muggles if you sit down and remain discreet. TFTC!
Felt like more than three....
but the previous finders and pics helped.
Nice to find an old one.

Nice hide, took me a bit of time to find. Good it was a Sunday evening with no muggles. Photos helped TFTC
Almost didn't find this one, lucky! Fun spur of the moment cache with H423L. TFTC!
Somehow my GPSr was playing funny games with me here, which meant that GZ ended up 50m away from where the GPSr wanted me. The photos from previous logs helped enormously here. TFTC
In town for graduation today trying to hunt down a container big enough for a TB who needs to be dropped off. Took a while to narrow down GZ - nit quite as close to Telstra as I anticipated, but eventually got there... Then came my second problem - I seemed to have arrived on smoko... Eventually nabbed the little guy, but was surprised - this is a funny looking film cannister - kinda matches the funny steps though. Thanks for the find!
29/9/15 Down from Brisbane and using caching to explore the city. What a great set of steps. Lol. Once there a quick find was had. TFTC
Cache found and is now a mint tin - this may have been explained in an earlier log that I have not read. No pencil, bring your own. Took lizard to find a new home.
This took way longer than I thought as gps was all over the place but after a few walk around I eventually clicked...and cache was soon in hand
Awesome catch by 4 stooges and bud!
Left a little gift with it. Happy catching guys

Very busy area during business hours.
Container is an Eclipse mints stye tin.
Lovely old redbrick building is the former Adelaide Stock Exchange.
Remember a school trip inside back in the day!

Rescued the container from where it had been dropped. I'm not sure if I put it back in the originally intended location, but have left it in a pretty good spot which is in keeping with the description and is well hidden. BYO pencil. TFTC!
I can see the dropped container. If I get a chance I'll come back with a magnet on a string.
We were walking around the red building adjacent to the Telstra building and Elephant blue spot the "3 steps away from Telstra". It was a nice find but the cache is not a film canister.
Found pretty quick, as soon as I replaced cache and stood up, a group of muggles appeared from behind the building and gave me a weird look, lucky they didn't actually see me doing anything! TFTC!
Over in Adelaide for a 4 days conference frpm Melbs and found this little cache just near my hotel. Time to get a few more now TFTC. BYO pen
40 mins till the train. Decided to get one before heading to the train station. Tftc
Found late at night while wandering through the CBD after a gym visit nearby. I went after this one years ago when I first started caching during the peak muggle hours, and failed spectacularly. Tonight, with much more caching experience to guide me I had this one in hand in under a minute at a completely deserted GZ. TFTC Team Galaxy Quest!
Geodad was in the city running an errand which was perfect as he also needed to find a cache to complete another day in the calendar. This was the first one on the list, but he'd tried this one before with absolutely no luck. This time I approached GZ from a different direction and "bam" the location of the hide was immediately apparent. Luckily the drizzly weather was keeping the smokers under cover (although the air was still thick with smoke) and I found it BFE style.
TFTC Team Galaxy Quest and thanks for the replacement from the caching teams last month.
Nice description and clue. Spotted and grabbed by Beanythong. No muggles in the dead of the night except a non-geocaching scavenger who asked if we were lost and directed us to Krispy Kreme. TFTC.
found#35 @ 4:30pm
it was a bit difficult to find when kids were playing near by.
but job was done without any problem.

On a one day visit around Adelaide central many thanks to all of the cleaver hides,
We were just on foot so didn't get too far[(:)]
we went right through from one street to the next then came back to gz A girl sitting on the step having lunch so we introduced ourselves and told her what we were doing as we could see it from below

DNF.. could not see anything down underneath. Last weeks water could have washed the remains away
A nights caching with Locus and SASewer Rats brought us to the city while the place was devoid of muggles and after searching for some time with no luck, geodaughter blasted us for not reading the logs. When we learned that a previous finder had dropped it we took the liberty of replacing with a temporary eclipse tin until the CO has time to check on our placement. Stopped at the nearby resting spot for a nice cake and coffee break. Thanks for bringing us to this somewhat hidden part of town
Tonight a Rat, Snake and a Locus went a caching.
We had lots of laughs and in the Big Smoke.
While we were looking for the cache, the younger snake read the logs.
Discovered that a previous finder had dropped the cache into the abyss.
So we replaced the cache.
Then stopped in nearby seating area for coffee and cake. TFTC
