As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Had a look today, it appears to be long gone. Sorry to those who tried it. Take a running jump at yourselves who ever nicked it! Drats! I am very busy at the moment, so I will fix this up when I get the chance!

Taken note of last two logs, I will check it out tomorrow, but sounds as if it may be gone. Bummer. Sorry !

Sad Zip.. Zero.. Didnt find a thing.
Found the hollow tree. There was a stick inside it.
Used that to move loose compost around but I couldnt locate a cache. Checked up in case it was suspended but no luck either.
Hope I just wasnt looking in the right area.

Signs of much traffic around the tree, presumably the right one as those damn prickles were around all the others. Dug around inside and looked up but like Parrothead we found nothing. Muggled?? Nice spot to visit just the same.

Our 20th. An easy find in a lovely little park. Warm afternoon today but found lots of shade and soft places to sit and fill in the log, almost feels ancient in here with all the large trees and mossy ground. A passing freight train, 4 locos and about 22 carriages only briefly disturbed the peace. But what a fantastic thing to see and only just meters away.

Thanks Team Smeg.

Easy to find, not so easy to retrieve. Ground was dry, though.
Thanks.

Nice little spot. Took the dogs for a walk, but seeing the distance to the cache didn't quite satisfy the dogs, we also tacked on a couple of kms of the Madurta Track - very nice.

Thanks for the exercise,
ThomasS and HeidiS (PNH)

Found at 17:50 - Excellent spot, kids had a great time.

A short walk from the car. Trailer was less hassle here, just had to bump off the kerb. Women and trailers don't mix - and I can say that and get away with it!!

Not so soggy today - but still a little. Underground stream?

Thanks - swaps unremembered. Think I swapped something for a tool of some variety.

found with All Cached Up,
after a bit of a walk we spotted where itwas straight away, getting to it was another matter

Spotted the likely hiding spot as I walked from my car. This was confirmed as soon as I arrived at GZ, even though the GPS was pointing a little further on at the time (it settled later on). No swap was made. Thanks, Team Smeg, for showing me the area and for the cache.

I can see why this spot can be soggy at times, but after a few warm days the swampy bit was all but dried up (even thought the creek was still running). Took a pop-top, left an orange bouncy ball. Cheers, FeatherWaite.

What a great hiding spot. I would love to go on about its character, but that would give it away; although, when you get there, it's pretty obvious where it will be. Although the ground was wet and boggy in places, I managed to stay dry. Took nothing and left a tire pressure gauge. Thanks for a great cache Team Smeg. The last of yours I was to grab today.

Got soggy feet on the way in, but worthwile none the less. Did this one in a big hurry as I was due somewhere near in 15 minutes after I started looking for it!

This was our first cache for the day which was a quick outing before the kids wanted to head back home for a swim. We were joined by Michael (12) and Kathy (10). Michael was driving the GPS for his first time and did a wonderful job. Kathy took a keyring and Bianca decided on a miniature padlock. We left the 'Count' and tape measure.

Thanks team smeg for a series of good caches in the area.

Found by Mary & David at 0920. Heading back to Melbourne. Read Alex's log but thought we'd have a look. Success!! David manoeuvred head and shoulders into the space like the birth process in reverse. Retrieved the cache and tried to make it a bit more secure for future visitors. Took police car, left egg cup then made our way carefully through the swampy bits back to the car park. Our thanks to team smeg.

I went to the spot without getting too wet, I found the location without problem, I saw the cache. Right there! Just ten centimetres beyond my grasping fingers.

But even worse, in my efforts to secure the cache I have made it more difficult. What is now needed is a small but gamey person to crawl in and retrieve it.

Even so this is an interesting swamp/spring. I look forward to coming back, thanks smeg.

Good little spot for a cache. We were able to negotiate our way through the boggy patches and across the creek without getting our shoes too wet. Found the hiding spot with no trouble, but almost pulled my arm out of it's socket reaching for the cache. You really need to get right in there. Smile

Took stress ball (I'll be taking this to work), left action man figure.

Frogs just loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove swamps and bogs.

Knee deep, knee deep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent spot for a cache. Thanks guys and impressive first cache. Great location and clever placement.

21-Aug-04
I didn't heed the warning, and got wet feet (for the second time today - and I'm just getting over a nasty cold!)
Took nothing, left a little penguin.

21-Aug-04
Lovely area. Even my dog had trouble in the swamp - fell in the creek! Took pumpkin magnet & left police car.
Thanks Team Smeg

15-Aug-04
We got to this one the long way round which actually turned out to be quite good and it was a really nice walk from where we parked the car to the cache. Yes it was still quite boggy as we got closer to the cache so had to tread carefully. Found the cache no problems. Took space blanket and left padlock and keyring. Thanks Team Smeg.

Just as well we brought gumboots. Lovely spot - always meant to visit. Took Sika Kitty TB, left a couple of pumpkin fridge magnets- should grow well here. Many thanks smeg.

There was no one in the park today. I guess they didn’t have boats. I needed the wellies. Unfortunately they were home in the shed. Should have heeded the cache note a bit more. I pushed on and about ½ way across to this lovely spot, I had the feeling of a wet sock Red Face (just around the location of that creek bit!). Lovely! I promised “Claire†I would do this one, and was wishing she was here doing her orienteering thru this sort of terrain today. I removed the cards and left a stamp. Thanks Team Smeg. Clear skies, Astro.

How wet is wet? Well we nearly found out as we crossed the "creek". Left Sika Kitty TB.
Thanks for shoing us this interesting place

Found by Team GeoCoopers.
Pulled up next to a familiar looking car, to spot Richary up on the hillside. A little mushy under foot but not muddy so that was good.
Thanks Team Smeg.

After lunch with a team of cachers at Hahndorf came back via this one. Got near GZ and as I spotted the cache another car rocks up containing Team GeoCoopers. A bit soggy to get there from the parking area today! Took a bus and left a cow. Cheers

25-Jul-04
Got this on the way home from Hahndorf. Found along with Gunnell & Pandaabear, Gordon Patrick Samual and Skippy & Lambchops.

Took: Mrs K being a cow lover she had to take the cow
Left: Hotwheels car

Thanks Team Smeg.

Found @ 4:50pm with 2 k's away, GPS, Gunnell & Pandaabear. Boots would have been a good idea.

Took Keyring and Left Kangaroo & Lamb

Thanks Team smeg Smile

A bit soggy round here, Jim had to help accident prone panda's over the creek, it was too cold to get wet today. Not sure who found it (might have been Julie) Took lamb and roo, left colarado keyring and cute magnetic pig thingy. Was kind of expecting this place to have something about the lion king around here, the name reminded me of the song that the boar and the skinny looking thing sang in the movie. Obviously I don't remember that very well at all, cause apparantly I even had the words to song wrong. Thanks Team Smeg

Dissapeared out for half an hour to find this Virgin Cache. 6 hours later and 7 caches in total I returned home (only because it was getting dark).
This little cache takes you through lovely homes and gardens that you would not normally see. Nice winters day and at least it didn't rain. Good advise to wear the rubber boots and I didn't take them off again. Thanks Team Smeg for a great day out. Took the Glowstick and Left a Thermal Blanket.
