it is sadly time to put a lid on this cache.
I have vacated the building and as such the little box has to go.
I hope it brought some joy to those that visited.

Truly a legendary cache that set the benchmark as a night cache and I believe this may have
been one of the first night caches in Melbourne.
Fond memories of this cache remain, thanks Dicko.

Much brighter than next door when the torch hit the spot at 6:35pm. Great work - sad to see that it is going soon. Worth a favourite from me.

Travelling around with Nanton34! This cache was soon found via direct headlights. Loved this hide and very interesting neighbours next door! TFTC
Out caching with ghetts and had a chuckle at our surrounds. Within seconds we saw the light and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the light hearted adventure! =P

I was in the area late this Wednesday night (not for the red light enterprise next door, honest!) and remembered this cache was around and highly favourited. So I loaded up the phone, worked out directions, and headed in to the cul de sac. I didn't notice the cache on approach so spun the car around to a more discreet position while I checked the GPS and organised a pen and torch.
It was at this point a people mover car (a family man?) came racing up the street and parked right in front of the aforementioned establishment. A man got out and raced inside. He sure was in a hurry to make his 10.30 appointment.
With the coast now clear I gingerly exited my vehicle and started shining the torch around, hoping to see something and not draw too much attention to myself. I walked across the road, towards the red light, and thankfully the geocaching call sign soon manifested itself in the darkness. I completed my business before a quick departure, beating somebody else exiting the hive of activity.
Thanks Dicko for the fun and adventure!

An easy find, thanks Dicko.
I've been wanting to do this one for a while, but had to wait until dark came early enough to do it with geo-kid!

Decided to tackle this one with la Mina in the early morning on our way to the airport to collect a passenger. Was a good move. No one around, not even the Easter bunny. I should have checked the map a bit closer before hand, as took a wrong turn and ended up, in the wrong estate but still only 100m from GZ. A few narrow streets later we were in the right spot. Flicked the headlights on to high beam, and almost immediately la Mina laughed with excitement. There it was. Great "hide"!!! TFTC.
Just as we arrived, cache spotted. Crig and I had a good laugh when we left. TFTC Dicko

Find #1010
Out with Stemicmitsar for our usual Friday night/Saturday morning caching run. We targeted caches that had proven troublesome in the recent past either because we couldn't even start looking because of the presence of muggles or because we needed some special equipment.
I'd heard many stories about this cache and while we were in the area, Steve kindly drove me here so that I could add my name to the log. It was like Bourke St at around 11:00pm. Cars coming and going and most parking spots occupied.
The car headlights did a better job of showing me what I needed to see than my torch would have done. Very nicely done cache. Certainly worth a favourite point.

Came out late this evening with the sole aim of finding this one; I was after something with a little more creativity than the suburban norm, and this definitely did not disappoint.
Must admit I felt a little nervous and exposed at the co-ords point but had just started to shine the torch around when I heard a door at "the neighbours" open and close. Didn't fancy explaining what I was doing, so switched off again and quickly moved to the nearest cover, by a tree to one side of #3.
Which of course, was right by the car that the young bloke who came out of there walked straight to... Realised that even in the dark there was no way he'd fail to see me standing there, so made a show of switching on my phone and looking at it with studied insouciance until he drove away. (Was actually re-reading the description for this cache, to distract myself.)
Back out into the open, when I did finally point my torch the right way it was all I could do not to laugh out loud: ah, such subtlety... Brilliant.
All furtiveness gone now, I happily made the retrieve, signed the log and carefully replaced it, before heading home.
Thanks for the cache, Dicko. If I were a premium member I would have definitely given this one a fave point.

Fantastic. Found it after dark. Didn't stay to play with your neighbours SL TFTC Dicko
Didn't realise my torch was shining right on the cache location as I was too busy straining my ears and gawking over the fence to see any interesting goings-on at the neighbour's premises. Almost forgot I was supposed to be geocaching. TFTC
Out for my daily cache after orienteering in Notting Hill. It was dark so this one seemed logical. I would never have guessed how hard this one was to find, about 3.763 seconds, I was slowed down checking out the action next door.
Thanks for bringing me here Dicko, nice hide.

TFTC found with geo daughter lilbassgirl may have been better doing it through the week. Sat night had a bit of movement
TFTC! Found with geomum shazzaferg. Quite ingenious, getting a favorite from me! Was able to quickly get in and get out, but being a saturday night, there was a few people around with their collars turned up!

Got there and found it in a couple of minutes. I didn't know about the 'special' place before reading this cache. Looks like it has been quite busy, not much space to log. very smart hide TFFC!
Haha amazing effort thanks guys. Had the kids running circles left an extra jar of geogifts n_n enjoy
First one for the night on what is my 1 year anniversary of caching. Was out with Whyt Knight on our weekly Tuesday night run this one was pretty easy to find once your facing the right direction it just jumps out at you nice and quiet tonight, the log book is pretty full TFTC

Not a lot of, er, action at three in the morning, so I was able to park on the street undisturbed and cast about for a sign... and such a subtle indicator of the cache's location it is. I love it!
Night cache number ten.
After I'd sauntered across to sign the log and gotten back into the car, another vehicle entered the court. The driver jumped out, ran into one of the properties and drove out... sans headlights. O... K...
Thanks, Dicko, for the chuckle of the night. I certainly left this court with a smile on my face.

Well done on lighting up the nightlife. Very amusing cache. E10707 and I had a good chuckle about this one. Log book is full, but we scribbled our names on a little spot we found. Left TB Coin. Thanks Dicko. Favourite for me.
Been told abt this one for a while now..but had to find the time to get it.. of course curiosity was there!!
Arrived with TurnerFamilyFTG with no one out.. thank goodness for that, otherwise "awkward"!!
A really well thought out cache, loved the creativity..definitely worth a favourite point. TFTC!

I was in the area so I thought I'd have a crack at this one even though it wasn't dark. I searched for ages as I had in my head what i thought I was looking for but I was way off. Once I spotted the giveaway it was a quick find. Great cache idea. TFT
TFTC! Found with BKC. The area is already well illuminated with a tinge of red love this cache very clever idea. Perhaps you could kill two birds with one stone doing this cache
11:45pm on Xmas day and number 3 still going strong. Had to duck around one going and one arriving in between torch bursts. Must have been using the gift vouchers they got for Xmas. Loved the indicator for the cache. A favourite of mine and my second night cache. TFTC.
Not having any experience with night caches we enjoyed this even though it was a relatively easy find.

I was sent to Burwood tonight to pick up a layby so thought this was a perfect cache to grab. I've done some research so knew where to start looking which was lucky because I'd forgotten to bring a torch. After waiting for a van to pull out from the nearby establishment (a shuttle bus?) I used the cars headlights to see what I needed and a quick search had the cache on hand.
Thanks Dicko for the cache. My first night cache actually done at night.

WOW busy little place tonight !!!and who would have thought on a Thursday night!!! Red light in full swing but Baluke and I soon had cache spotted and in hand. Great little hide although glad I had company to do this one . TFTC
well it wasnt quite dark but at least there was plenty of parking. cache must really stand out with a torch pointing at it. tftc
Found during the day, I felt a bit uncomfortable here during the day so I'm happy not to be visiting after dark. I was looking in the wrong area, missed the blatantly obvious and got a hint from a coworker who drove up. Thanks to him for the help as the spot was getting creepier by the minute.

The long weekend seemed to be the perfect opportunity for caching and Burge and I were at it again tonight. After successfully finding a few caches in the Malvern area, we decided to continue further NE and this was find number 17 for the night.
I love a night cache and this was a quick and fun one. It's an awesome hide and I appreciate the thought that has gone into planning it. Definitely deserving of a favourite point from me. Thanks for the cache, Dicko!

Found this one tonight - I looked in all the wrong places and then started doing a systematic search and voila there it was shining out very brightly at me! Very clever. I wonder what some of the visitors think of that if they should see it. I had two people who left as soon as I found the cache, one leaving immediately and the other having a smoke!!!! I was trying to be discreet about signing the log but the smoke almost me cough! Ah the joys of caching at night!
Thanks for the cache Dicko.
Thanks for the cache Dicko.
i have been scared to do this one. by myself.
but i was out. doing another night cache with Happy Chappies. i asked him very nicely to take me to this one.
he parked in the driveway. headlights on. so i could see my way.
As i was walking back down the drive.
Nosey neighbour came out.
Owner of the red light house

Did I like this cache. I really don't know. Funny well thought out And fun but so very uncomfortable. Thanks to gagga for assistance. Misinterpreted most of her message but at least gavel the idea so the find was made. Spent more time then most of the customers. The cats must be good at their job.

After a nice evening out with friends, we had to drop an elderly muggle nearby and decided to complete this one. Talk about lit up! Yep, the lights were on next door but we stayed focused on the task and soon grabbed the little blighter. A very interesting area!! TNLNSL Thanks Dicko for an unusual cache.
Quick find of an evening, car lights made this one a bit obvious. The cattery next door was still open but didn't have time to look around, next time maybe. TFTC
Very good night run geocache!! Muggles were very active tonight, possibly thought we were on "break" lol
Last cache for the night after an epic night cache adventure. Great times were had throughout the night. this one took more time than it should have and with a but of help we suddenly had the doh!!! moment. TFTC
last one for the night, another phone a friend card used then a slap because we should have seen it, tftc

After a smashing day out caching with Team Crackers, The Coffees and micaparamedic, I ended up crashing the CO's "not my birthday" curry night.
A fantastic evening Dicko and many many thanks for your hospitality.
As Gary was giving me a lift back home to South Yarra, he mentioned that I just had to do this cache.
We duly waited for a cab to divulge its passenger and depart and thanks to Gary's 4x4 raised suspension the torch was not required as the headlights did the job for me.
A smashing little cache idea and the cache log soon signed. My first on the list for the nightcache challenge!
Thanks for a smashing little cache and for the curry.

well i was quite surprised at how quiet it was for a saturday night i would have thought it would be suspicious muggle central but nope stood out in the middle of the court and found gz quite illuminating loved it tftc tnln sl
All quiet at #3. Found the cache then drove home down Cumming St! Poetic don't you think? TFTC
My Geo Sis and I headed out for a quick cache tonight and what a hide it was. We are well on our way to the 30 we want to find before she goes home to Adelaide. TFTC.
My first night find while out with geo sis. Waited while a few patrons exited Pussycats, and then quickly found the signs. TFTC.
Our second visit and good fun all around. We had dogs but still felt odd ferreting around so close to #3! A couple of quiet male muggles emerged but yes, as you said, scuttled away very quickly. Thank you for our first night cache.
This was amusing. Late at night, and an Audi lingered outside #3 with driver, with the engine running - waiting to collect the boss/client? Decided that they would probably be more uncomfortable being there than I, so I shon the torch around anyway. This had the desired effect, embarrassing them into leaving swiftly. A second of light was all it took to spot the clue and I had a chuckle like many before me! A favourite, if not just for the entertainment value. TFTC
Found at 2200. WOW what can I say!!! After attending a dinner to receive my Woodbeads for Scouting and dressed in my Scout Uniform (Thankfully with a coat over the top) was under stricked instructions from a fellow cacher that I HAD TO GET THIS ONE!!!!
Arrived at GZ and following directions began my search! Well what a busy time it was here - a car pulls out of the drive way, another comes up the street & pulls into the driveway! All clear again?? NO another Muggle comes walking up the street - busy little place isnt it. Finally all quiet at GZ - armed with torched and WOW look at what we have here!!
TNLNSL - TFTC and a great laugh even if I did feel extremely uncomfortable tonight!!!
This get a fav point from me - Well Done Dicko

Out caching with the team tonight. decided to come a do this night cache after meeting and chatting to dicko at the campfire at the mega event. wonder where it could be ?????? hmmmmm ???? We pissed ourselves laughing when we found the cache. TFTFC dicko.
Very clever, one happy muggle came out while we were here but made a rather quick exit!
You're right it is extremely easy to find. Gave us a good laugh. Enjoyed this night cache.
Found quickly, came last time we were in Melbourne but it was daylight. First night cache which was a thrill. Thanks Dicko
Had this one on our to-do list for a while. Muggle activity saw us coming back a second time, but had it in-hand after a quick look. We'd hoped to have it as our #100 - but missed it by 2. Never mind, there's always tomorrow . great idea. We are now looking out for other night finds. Took Geo coin, will head it down to the beach. TFTC
Our very first geocache! Thought it was appropriate with the nearby business that this is where our geocache cherry got popped! TFTC
Found @ 2135 with SirJ-Oz playing at chauffeur. On the last attempt (admittedly over a year ago) it had been muggled, but there were no issues tonight apart for a serious lack of parking nearby - some local business must be working flat-out! I actually noticed this cache many moons ago before I started playing the game, so last time there was a strong sense of déja vu and it was nice to finally finish it off. TNLNSL-TFTC.

Yes, this brought a smile to my face. Thanks a lot Dicko, this is what caching should be about.
After one aborted visit (chickened out after a quick torch search that somehow missed all of the signs ), I revisited early Sunday morning and had a successful recky. Tonight I was stuck very late at work so heading home I decided to detour via this cache for a proper find rather than wimp out and do a virtual for my daily find. No need for torch, moonlight was enough to find my way to the familiar hiding place for a quick grab, blind signing of the logbook (in case you're wondering why its messy!) and took the geocoin to move along. Thanks for a fun night cache!
