Out and about today exploring the area with a muggle mate. Dr Livingstone was not about today, might be out exploring the area. All good here. Now, onto the next one for the day. TNLN TFTC
A break in the pub series I drove out here into the NP in search of the pair of older hides out here,I drove a loop of the entire park, no problems making the find at GZ Thanks for the cache
#13558Day 3 of our Geocaching NSW Expedition to Wagga Wagga. After our breakfast event we decided to follow to trail down South from Armco to Mango. Then it was onward to the Pub Crawl.Going into the Livingstone NP was a nice break from the Pub powertrail. So nice off roading by our L-plater took us to the top. The cache was not in good state and some maintenance was carried out.All caches were found and signed with the initials of Everest High, Brewmaker, ZiggiAU, noisypittah, Team Canary and It's Dozzie.TFTC!
A geocache I Presume! Needs maintenance as this old cache, has an old container, which is breaking. TFTC
After a slow drive out we made a short walk for the find. Lovely part of the world. We took out the smashed container, but the replacement is looking cracked too. TFTC.
It was a fun drive for NoisyPitttta to get here but we were hoping for a view. Im guessing that with the age of the cache the trees may have grown up a bit more. Nice to see an original logbook.
Am adventurous drive up the trail, following the poetic directions under the guidance of the L-plater. At GZ, I spotted the hint and most of the cache contents lying around. It had corroded over time, but the original logbook was still dry despite its exposed state. This was the cache, we presume! We removed the old rotten container and replaced it with a new but smaller container. I hid it back in the log. A nice drive through the NP. TFTC
Found It!An interesting drive in here to a place you'd never go to if not for geocaching. The container is very broken though. I signed both the logbooks (which were dry due to all the hot weather).TFTC
An easy find once we found our way to the GZ. The cache was wrecked and all the contentes were completly soaked. I manage to scrape a few things together to make a temp cache from item from my car. TFTC.
Another old cache, and another exhilarating 4x4 trek to get here. Splashing through the numerous puddles was certainly the fun part!
The cache here was also broken, but nowhere near as bad as the other one in the park, and it is also a lot more sheltered. So we left this one be for now, but it will need replacing asap given how brittle it is.
Thanks Team Horizons!

Cache found without any issues, thanks heaps for the find, all looks to be in good order. Although the container has seen better days and may want replacing soon.
Yay!!!! We got it!!!!
A plan was hatched with fitzy_1965, Albida33, Minniek, GLISS! and cosmonaut97 to head down south and tackle The Rock. We have had our eye on a Jasmer down this way for awhile and with the new AL’s and some other great series in the area it was time for a visit!!
It was an absolutely fantastic weekend with some great caching (and some epic adventure) and we were so spoilt by the local hospitality from Baby&MrsGopher.

Weekend away with fitzy_1965, Albida33, nibletricecakes, GLISS! and cosmonaut97.
Sunday saw us all up early to finish off most of the bMg trail before heading East for a bit more 4wding to some older caches and then on our separate ways.
Trail finished, we headed over to Mt Livingston picking up a few caches along the way. Had fun getting to this one as we came across a tree across the road about 400m before the cache. Soon found a way around to make it an almost driveby.
All caches were found quickly and in good condition.

After completing the 4WD track at The Rock, I travelled with Nibletricecakes, minniek, Fitzy_1965, Cosmonaut97 to Mt Livingston to continue more 4wd caches. This was the a target for today. Great to get an oldie. TFTC Team Horizons.
21,382. Found during a meander around The Rock/Wagga region.
A group of us from Canberra and Goulburn were at The Rock for a fun weekends caching around the area. Late this morning cosmonaut97, GLISS!, nibletricecakes, minniek and I headed into the forest to collect some older out-of-the-way caches. This one proved to be a great drive to GZ where we made a quick find.
Thanks Team Horizons !!

Found during a crazy weekend away in Wagga with minniek, fitzy_1965, nibbletricecakes and Gliss!. TFTC.
Quick find on a cold winters day. We have been out here before but never 4wdriving. Big hit with the kid.
Out for the day with Happy pants as we were heading to Wagga to do some caching for the day.
Many laughs and fun were had over the time, along with a variety hides found in some different areas.
This was a bit of a long haul to get to it but loving the area and the hide.
Thanks Team Horizons for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Found with Happy Feet this morning while heading up to Wagga Wagga and decided to make a day out caching and let our GPS'r lead the way along the "scenic route". We slowly made our way to the gz and the little Suzuki bounced it's way along the tracks nicely and we eventually found ourselves at the gz. After a short stroll and search we had the cache in hand, thanks again Team Horizons for hide and for bringing us here.

My goodness, what a journey. Lucky my intrepid partner had the item's to get get us to where we needed to be. By items I mean a strap to move a big ass tree that had conveniently fallen on the track. Otherwise, thanks for the cache
A nice drive out to here and it took me a while to find this one, it was well hidden.
There is a caching event today, well why not make a full caching day out of it with a bit of shopping included. I started the day by telling work that I wasn’t available at all and then I decided on where I wanted to cache. Well seeing how I have found the caches North, South and Central areas around ‘The Rock’, I decided on heading East this time and finding some of the historic caches around Livingstone National Park. TB visit on all found caches today. I would like to thank all CO’s for the caches I found and for the fun I had while finding them.

David Livingstone (1813-73) was a Scottish missionary and medical doctor who explored much of the interior of Africa. In a remarkable journey in 1853-56, he became the first European to cross the African continent. Starting on the Zambezi River, he traveled north and west across Angola to reach the Atlantic at Luanda.
In March of 1871, journalist Henry Morton Stanley begins his famous search through Africa for the missing British explorer Dr. David Livingstone. He found Livingstone in the town of Ujiji on the shores of Lake Tanganyika on 10 November 1871, greeting him with the now famous words "Dr Livingstone, I presume?"
Called in today with [@AngusnmumyAdventures](http://coord.info/PRRD6GG) it was another easy find, however was in very needs attention as well. The logbook was ok but the lid of the container needs, all the contents was ok. We signed the log, replaced it and covered it to proted it a little better.
Thanks for this cache Team Horizon, Lil Donna

A steep climb to this road when approaching from the south, the cruiser handled it with ease ,tftc,
We have left Our caravan at Yerong Creek & taken a drive out along the country roads searching for caches.
An interesting drive which also took us 4x4 in the forest.
A great drive I felt apprehensive but hubby really enjoyed the drive.
Picked up the Tb. Worth a favourite point.
Thanks Team Horizons

Got in the park & this was the first 1 of your series found, I soon was placing into 4WD Low range just to make a little easier on us – it was lunch time so we had lunch in a nice & quiet area. This beats all those side of the road caches, for us our type of cache left Travel bug, a big thanks for the series TFTC / TFTH / SL
#468 was found on day 156 that saw 4 more caches added to the list of found caches and finished off another of the pages of caches close to home.
This was the 4 for the day and the final cache in the area that saw me do more walking than I really wanted to do today. However to be able to get the 3 in this area was an achievement and it is rewarding to have them out of the way. Having only a 2WD vehicle with a ton of gear in the back it is a little hard to climb some of the hills on these tracks around here. After achieving the Two of the three in the area it was this the final cache to grab. Started at what I thought would have been the best place to begin the walk however it would more thank likely been closer to the cache if I had stayed in the location I was being 2.5klms from the cache it was not going to be a quick stroll. The find was a little difficult with the GPS having me about 4M away it was only the powers of the jedi that rescued the day and the find was made. Now for the return trip to the vehicle and off to work.
Thanks Team Horizons for the interesting locations.

Beautiful drive thru a sea of golden flowers, to a lovely little spot, while managing to avoid the more difficult tracks. TFTC
We almost got muggled out of this one, surpisingly. Some map confusion was also sorted here. Garmin maps are WRONG! TFTC and this little series.
Found while out and about on a lovely days caching to The Rock and around. This was a lovely area but very bumpy and muddy not such a 2WD would make it at the moment. Some tracks where even closed.Lovely surrounds here.

Good simple find for the geowife and the boys whilst I just had a look around and took in the scerenity (-8
3/13 The drive here was eventful. There had been a tree fallen on the track so we cleared it off the road, rather than backtrack & do a big loop. Then geodad went blundering with the 4wd and trailer into a tight spot and found a tree off the track, reversing into it with the back of the trailer. (nothing to do with navigating by geomum, of course:)) All okay. Thanks for the cache. Kangaroos nearby on arrival, and still plenty of spiders. Love the area, we are getting to combine caching with 4wd driving. Always a good combo.
Found and logged at 9:05, After a short trip out of town anh an interesting drive through the forests to pick up a few caches

#1053 @ 10.35am. Continuing our day out and about with team haveanez and enjoying this area in the bush. Heaps of dragonflys around and COBWEBS!! We managed to catch a couple of dragonflies between 2 aerials on the front of the GeoTriton that was covered in cobwebs. So whilst everyone else went off to retrieve the cache, the Queen and The GeoPrincess had to conduct a mercy mission and release the dragonflies from the stickiest cobwebs we've ever come across. TNLNSL Thnx
PS Happy to report that the mission was a success

Found out & about with Skullracing, and sent SR-Dad in for this one to fight off the HUGE & what were now angry spiders!!
A good sized container in another good spot. Enjoyed the drive through the area.

Found with Last of the Time Lords and TeamGeoPlesk. Nice poem. The cache was an easy find and getting there in the 4WD was just as much fun! TFTC.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty on our trip to Wagga for the OZ Mega Event (Fantastic!!) This was a really rocky drive in to GZ; the roads were washed out quite a bit after recent rains but the cache was easily found. TFTC
Took us quite a while to find this one. Had no crafty things to put in as we are animal movers. Hubby found a grinding disk in the car so we thought we would add it - metal craft.

The steep rocky roads were tricky on route to this one ,but after some careful planning in the geo-commodore we arrived at gz ok.The bees nest nearby meant a quick find was in order and it was.Another nice sized cache with good swaps which is rare today. We took the beads and put in 2 highlighters.Nearby we grabbed a photo of a large goanna over 1.3 metres in length and watched it scurry up a tall tree. Thanks to Team Horizons.
Found at 0655. Without the use of a 4WD, the caches in this area were always bypassed...until today. Got up nice and early thiis morning, parked the car at the SSAA range and made the 2.89 walk straight to GZ for a nice quick find. The tracks certainly go in all directions here.

After a peaceful night camped out at the bottom of the hill with the kangas and goats, I woke just before sunrise to go find Dr Livingstone
The poem had got me to the gate last night and came in useful getting to GZ this morning [^]
A very pleasant drive on a bumpy trail followed. All very relaxing with the lack of traffic up here
I watched the cache icon drift around on the GPS screen as I faithfully followed the rhyme and got to ground zero in next to no time
Without the help of the ode,
this search would be slowed [:o)]
With the roundabout found,
I looked all around,
to find the cache safe and sound
Thanks for the cache,
in a beautiful place.
I left with a smile on my face
Darn poetry direction,
It's like an infection [:o]

Find 5/13 today.
Took the long road in from "Burrandana", very bumoy and very dry country. Hate to be stuck out here if a fire started.
A great size cache, but had no crafty swaps so no exchange was made.
Poem was creative, maybe I should have had a printoun with me, then maybe I wouldn`t have missed he turn off.

Ah, these three LIvingstone caches, very interesting. Got the 2WD car in a little bit, then decided that was far enough.

Off I went riding along through the forest, a bit rough at times, but a great ride.

Again, like the previous two caches, it took quite some time to make it to this cache. Once there, it was an easy find. Thanks for the cache.
Our last cache in this great forest and a very idyllic site t0 set up a craft exchange, unfortunately we had none with us but had you made it a bundy exchange it would have been a different matter. TB Capt Rum Blood visited but had no reason to plunder craft so stayed with us for a bit longer We decided to take the short cut out but found that the toyota had gotten wider and didn't seem to want to fit through the tracks as we approached the main road. Not wanting to get jammed up in here in the dark we performed our mandatory caching u-turn in the fading light and headed back out the way we knew

The wild flowers were abundant and the flies were as well. Nice easy drive on our new off road tyres (4 days old). You guessed it we scored a flat. Took some beads and left some happiness.
Found by Mary & David at 1445. Loved the rhyming directions, which worked very well for us. The views, some 4WD driving and a few wildflowers all contributed to a great caching experience. Took wooden buttons, left a pair of craft bears. Our thanks to Team Horizons.

Travelled up travelled down and around went the wrong way then turned around yes it was there. the kids loved the bush and where proud when it was found. Ghosty Gums all about added to the stunning scenery. A great day.TNLNSL
I asked a mate to help out with this one because he has a 4wd & how necessary it was too. We had a great day out with another similar new cache nearby. We let the kids do the finding and they were very excited each time.
This newbie & his clan will now be joining this phenomenon after the adventure they had today too.
Took the 'winner' medal as the earlier finders had left it & the kids just could not resist. Left some xmas craft.
