Solved this one a while ago but saved it first a calendar day. Easy find as it was out of its hide spot, looks like it gad been discovered by a muggle as it had some unusual signatures. All back where it belongs.
Got coordinates at WP1 on my last trip to Wagga but we turned back after that to grab dinner. Today I finished what I started by crossing and quickly locating the cache at GZ. Had to be stealthy to dodge the nearby police breath test but all was successful. TFTC!
Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to Canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favorite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and every different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally Canberra was far enough away from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.
Day 2 of mogni and sir_spectre visit the ACT. Today was a much more relaxing day, only travelled from Wagga Wagga Yass. We found abut 40 caches and 16 ad labs. Today we targetted some caches to help with challenges and high D and/or T. Lots of cache guardians were seen, the bulls made me the most nervous. Any caches that needed some attention got it.Thanks to Roostaman from mogni
After completing the nearby AL we wandered to do this one. A nice multi. Loved the artwork representing the old bridge. Quick find when LeeLee decided to look where she was going Thanks
After a weekend in the ACT, I headed by myself this afternoon from the ACT to Wagga Wagga finding a few caches along the way. I stopped at this one where the cache was found and is all goodTFTC
With Featherwaite we're on our way to Canberra for the GeoBash Mega over Easter. On our way we set our route to take in LGAs that I have no finds in. Day 1 we made it to Narrandera and Day 2 we arrived in Canberra.Unless stated this cache is in good condition.Apologies for the generic log.TFTC
Found with Team Waldron on our way to the Capital GeoBash in Canberra over the Easter long weekend. Thanks for the cache Roostaman!
I stopped by the posted coords grabbed the needed info I almost walked to GZ but the heat today was getting to me so I drove for a quickish findThwnks for the cache
Found It!Interesting bit of history, would've been nice if they kept the old bridge instead of demolishing it though. Found the required number(s) and then headed off to the final location for a quick find!TFTC
While staying in the area we found a plethora of caches. Some easy some hard some high and some low some multis some mysteries some trads and Labs. This was one on the finds TFTC.
Find number 10372We tried this one a long time ago and had one number wrong but today we corrected our mistake and made a quick find Thanks Roostaman for placing this cache GCNMMA
I think I just became an arachnophobe! So many spider webs!Otherwise a nice little multi with some interesting history. Thanks for placing.
It was the last day of a long winter and the sun had finally come out of hiding to warm the city. A good afternoon for a scenic walk around a historic icon of Wagga. It was a very nice spot to sit by the river and eat lunch in the sun as well. tftc, tnls.
Found on a NSW holiday, exploring the area (we are from VIC). Easy find, kids love working out the coordinates! Thanks
No issues sorting the numbers and a quick find at GZ.
Over from New Zealand to attend the Rutherglen Mega. Now heading back to Sydney getting many caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache, Roostaman

Straightforward multi with the GZ located closer in walking distance than expected (had to backtrack after turning the GPSr back on).
Beautiful morning for caching.

On an evening walk after an all day meeting, overshot a nearby adventure and decided to do this multi, collected the information. Final was in the other direction but not too late yet, found in good condition with an abundance of spider webs. Thanks for a nice old cache Roostaman.
Thanks for doing catch maintenance, roostaman! I swung by on the way back from my epic SA trip and made the find where I expected to this morning TFTC
Maintenance visit and it had gone missing.
New cache and log book now in place again.
Hopefully no more floods for a while.

Found the likely hide for this one but it has been covered with flood debris. I cleaned it out but alas, no cache.
No dice for me. It’s possible that it was washed away given the evidence at Gz?
After the last log I thought I must be in the wrong spot but nope - it was right there. Nice easy multi and a quick stroll as described. TFTC and a bridge lesson. SL at 11:15am.
We hadn't had much success with multis on our previous visits to town, but with better observation today our coords had us in a different location for this one this time. It proved to be successful.
After a longer stay in Tumut than we had originally intended it was time to move on. Time spent with family is never wasted though, so our time there was very well spent and much enjoyed.
We didn't move far however and have arrived in Wagga for a few days where we have caught up with Roosterman and Mrs Roosta again and then also joined by Rebel Acts. The team back together!
The weather has been variable and made approaching some caches challenging due to the accumulated water and mud. And boy has it been cold at times!
Still we have chased a variety of caches and managed to find some high D/T ones on our way.
Always a great time caching with good friends.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Roostaman.

**Found whilst in Wagga for a couple of nights**
Out and about with Happy Pants, The Empire and Happy Feet after we managed to organize a couple of nights away.
It was great to be back in Wagga. First time I have visited since I served here in the late '80s. It certainly has changed
After a caffeine fill up, we headed out cleaning out some of the caches around town. A good time had by all with memories made and laughs had.
Thanks for the cache Roostaman and for highlighting the area. Appreciate your efforts.

Found on a recent quick trip. Found the required info easily enough but somehow the co-ords didn't work out quite right. We were still close enough that we looked in the obvious place though, TFTC
Another one done and dusted. Love picking up the old ones.
An adventure weekend to Wagga with Kittykatch and barb2e chasing old ones and DT. Signed as Capital Crunchers.

Collected some solved and targetted caches in Wagga Wagga with Joolay and Kittykatch. Signed as Capital Crunchers. Tftc
I scratched my head for a minute o4 two over the second number; then decided to give it a go. Puzzles and multi are not my strength, so I was happy to get the one correct. Tftc. Have a fave point. I liked the cache, I like this town..
Found during a week in the Riverina.
Completing the 'Wagga Bridge' series was one primary goal of the week.

A weekend away with the gang from Canberra. We did many together, but a few separately too. The whole team consisted of Joolay, Kittykatch, Strangetrousers, MTrax, TikvaNZ, Barb2e, Smittengranny, cosmonaut97, Aquilus1 & Tankengine. We had an awesome time away caching in Wagga Wagga and the surrounding areas and catching up with the local cachers Baby&Mrs Gopher. Thanks everyone for a fabulous time.
This cache: A nice straight forward multi at a very cool place. I am looking forward to coming back and having another look when the weather will hopefully be a little better. Tftc Roostaman!!!

Day 2 and I woke with a migraine so we took it easy and packed up as soon as I could function before heading off for caching further south.
Quick find here today.

21,017. Found with minniek during a beautiful winter's caching run around the Wagga region.
After our second night at Oura Beach we packed up camp and headed off for a few more targeted caches. This was the next one, and I laughed at GZ wondering how many times I'd past this one over the years !

A really pleasant short and straightforward multi. Gathered the numbers, did the calculations and set off to GZ where a quick find was made. TFTC Roostaman
Cool little cache which wasn't too difficult to find. Saw some people rowing canoes up the river, some people are crazy no way would I be doing such a thing in this wet cold weather. Imagine falling in!. None the less walked along to the final location and found the cache rather easily. All looked to be in good order. Thanks for the adventure.
Found this one today after gathering the required numbers and after crunching a few figures came up with a reasonable set of final co-ord's and soon found myself at the (busy) gz but fortunately managed a quick find. Thanks Roostaman for the interesting multi and the hide, great shots of the old bridge coming down also.
We loved the name of the bridge on the sign.... I guess this was a popular spot.
Yet another 'NSW county' trip done with Aquilus1!
This trip was to clean up a large hole we had in the central west around Wagga. So we left home and enjoyed the first cache of the day about 2 hours after leaving... now thats powering along. Along the way picking up all the counties we always have an eye on 'interesting' caches, be they Virtuals, oldies, Ausmer, large/regulars..... If you are reading this, then this cache made our list. Originally I was suppose to get my 5000th on the Victorian webcam, but at the last minute we gave into the realities of time and space and admitted we couldnt get there.
Previous trips have always been full of 'we got the last 2 rooms in town' days.... but it would seem we rode our luck too far. Albury was booked out, so was Wodonga, and Barnawartha, Chiltern, Rutherglen, Howlong..... but Wangaratta still had a few rooms!!! Never mind that we had a 7.30am start in Albury the next day, at least we found a bed.
We did of course make the most of of misfortune/poor planning, I grabbed several more Victorian counties I was missing AND we got the information for the next stage of a multi that starts in Canberra. We also saw a clear winner for 'father of the year' in the local 5 star restaurant which was a true highlight.
Anyway, back to Albury for a kayak trip down the Murray from Hume dam that was booked last minute, it was joyful. After waiting a while in the kayak I decided to 'make myself useful' and go and try find the next one.....yes, I realise now I should have simply got out of the kayak and 'helped', but it was at the first island and I wasnt really thinking straight. The trees were simply too much for us, we climbed but could not spy any caches, we unfortunately left our monkey behind.
Many, many hours later, we finally rounded the last corner and saw the boat ramp in Albury, a very happy sight to see. One last virtual to grab on the way home, diverting through Yass due to fires on the highway, my bed was sooooo nice at the end!

Found parking okay in both locations and information easily collected.
With GreyHams we set out to continue to fill a few of the closer to home counties we were yet to find on our, "NSW counties mission"... how many?... ALL OF THEM!
Sure has lead us out into some far flung regions, this time some of the closer and just a shorter trip. With the temperature on the car staying steady at 40c the comfort of the cars seats, cold air con and companionship, what better way to cache in the heat with most being conveniently located close by to our stopping spots.
Our caches primarily being the NSW counties we were missing but many other caches of interest made the select list. 5 virtuals, larges, Ausmers, DT, and always the oldies. Some unexpected and delightful location greeted us as is often the way.
Lunch in Temora Day 1 at the local fish and chip shop with our select 'off the menu' item was a highlight and recommended to visit, all the locals did!
After the 11 hours to drive Canberra to Albury, why not continue on a little longer drive to Wangaratta for some accommodation! Not the original plan but the opportunity to pick up 2 extra Vic counties and work on a Multi that we now have the next point waiting in Melbourne. A fine dinner at the best establishment in town was the perfect way to end the day.
An early start to the day as we had a last minute idea that spending the day on the Murray kayaking is a good way to beat the heat. Indeed it was, and a 7.30am start to the pick up point had us up bright and early to commute from Wangaratta. Great set up by the hire company, and after a drop off by the less keen group half way, we were soon delivered at the hume weir for our 27km or so paddle back into Albury.
Lavish splashes of sunscreen kept the burn away and the head wind we encountered most of the day blew away the heat. The water cool and refreshing and a lovely river saw us collect 8 of the 10 caches along the way in a scenic location. A little misunderstanding early on may have have unsettled the start but we moved past it and have put it well behind us
The Murray sure is a eclectic mix of interesting as we passed by, the curious cows, old relics and the characters of the people camping or just floating along in the current with their pool noodles to 'somewhere?'
Sure did give the arms a good work out at times with the head wind and the high water levels made landing on the islands limited, at times finding room for one kayak a little tricky but two was a launch of faith in places. Others of cause proved no issue with some careful looking but managed well enough regardless and always good to get out and stretch the legs. Most caches were found easy enough and in good condition, one in bad repair and a few trickier to search out took some time among the long grass, prickles and dense tree coverage but generally the islands were okay.
Overall a successful and enjoyable trip, a divert through Yass on the way home with the HWY closed due to a fire no real issue and arrived home safe and sound for a well earn't and sound sleep that night!
Thanks to all the CO's for your caches that helped guide us on our travels, your caches the select few we chose for our goals.

Out with Gliss! Caching in Wagga in the middle of a dust storm. Gliss! Needed this for a Jasmer so it was a no brainer. Stay and brave the storm!! Such an interesting story on this one, sent me reminiscing about this bridge and my childhood. Nice fast find at GZ . Thanks for the cache!
A nice morning of caching in Wagga Wagga. Chilly start and windy, but still good caching conditions. Really mixed it up today by doing virtual, puzzles, multi's, earth caches and some traditionals as well. With the exception is one multi all was found and by lunchtime I made my way to Temora and then home via Burley Griffin and Hume.

Met up with Grubby Gypsy in Wagga for the weekend.Decided to grab a few of trails while in the area. Then noticed there was going to be an event in town today, so decided to swag it overnight, so we could catch up with some of the locals. Signed all our logs today as HF1 + GG.
I had got the info for this sometime agp while filling the multi calender. So after proceeded to the co-ords worked out I came up empty handed. Tried to check original info but found the area fenced off for reconatruction. After contacting CO to confirmed co-ords, returned to the correct co-ords where we had already searched but this time came up with the goods needed.
Thanks Roostaman for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

I parked in the nearby carpark and strolled on over. Worked out the values for ABCD fairly quickly but scratched my head for ages trying to work out WYXZ.... hmmm....
After lots of thinking and searching the answer hit me and I realised it was a lot easier than it seemed and I had been chasing a red herring! So eventually worked out the coords and opted to drive to GZ.
The cache was showing signs of being unfound for a while and had some cobwebs over it, there was also a redback spider near it so be careful!

Wagga Wagga has so many caches on offer that we can only really scratch the surface while we are staying in the area for a few days. So a selection was made and we headed off to find these ones.
Don't quite know where our calculations went wrong, but headed off in the general direction of GZ and found the cache more by instinct than anything else. Inspected a couple of nearby possibilities first and then let the caching instinct kick in to find the container. Thanks to Roostaman for this multi in the bridge series.

Thanks for the extra info with the start point fenced off. Nice to pick this one up before leaving town . Will need to come back for the rest of them.
Pleased to be able to turn this frown upside down after the CO kindly replaced the container. This was actually our first multi attempt so it’s nice to know we didn’t completely muck it up!
Found without too much trouble once we realised it was no good swimming across the river to find code numbers ! Tftc.
Had to go down town to do some shopping before the heat sets in.
Found this one hiding safely away from passing travellers eyes.

With a relatively free weekend at last a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to go and collect some unfinished multi and solved puzzles along with some new caches in Wagga Wagga.
It was a rather eventful weekend with a close encounter of the brown slithery kind, not a very happy either as I think we woke it from its winter slumber, friendly cows, good and not so good weather and the opportunity for the inner monkey to show itself again on a few occasions.
TFTC Roostaman and thanks for a fun weekend Rapidlywild.

I have a day off work. What to do? How about find a cache or two before it starts raining. I decided on the last couple of caches in Junee and then move onto Wagga. Lots of different hides and camos which made the day more enjoyable. Thanks to all cache owners for today’s fun.
This cache was on the solved but not found list, so on my way through I had a quick pit stop and came up with the goods without a GPS guiding me to it. This is because I remembered the hint and I took a look at the satellite after I solved it all that time ago. Now onto lunch.

Suscoe was up and going this morning out on a day of cache hunting around the Wagga Wagga city area.
Another cold night but a beaut sunny day followed and we had a terrific day caching with our good friends: Phetlern.
We travelled around the city and found some really interesting locations and sights.
Thanks to Roostaman for this multi, we collected the data this morning and made the find this evening. Our last find in Wagga Wagga for this trip.

Out and about with our friends Suscoe, on a fine Friday for fun, with some frustrations and a few favourites as we endeavoured to replace some more of the green dots on our Wagga Wagga map with smiley face tokens. We picked up the info earlier in the day, then completed the task as we headed back to camp.
Thanks Roostaman for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

An overnight trip to Wagga for no reason other than to focus on getting some of the caches that are not just quick grabs - the walks along the river and some of the multis. As a result we have worked very hard for just 19 finds today - DNFs on unattended caches in flood prone areas, and lots of walking. A really nice day, and some interesting locations. This was a straightforward multi and short walk. I wish we had remembered to keep the info from others in this series over the years we have been visiting Wagga; I think No 10 might elude us! Thanks Roostaman.
We come to Wagga to catch up with The Drovers and as they were busy today we thought that it was a good opportunity to do a few local caches.
We have been making our way through this series for many years now and it's good to grab one on a trip to Wagga. Now that we have got your first hide we only have two more left to do.
We enjoyed the read while collecting the information, did the calculations and headed off to gz where happily the cache was found in the first place we looked and our name has now been added to the log.
Thanks Roostaman, maybe later this year we will finally finish this great series off.

We love a good multi but that doesn't mean we always get correct results! After mucking up the co-ordinates the first time and finding GZ was about a kilometre away near nothing bridge-like, we retired to the free camp and had another go at the equation. Errr, yes.......something looks a little awry in the east co-ords. New co-ordinates looked far more promising and we quickly found the cache. A real shame the old Hampden Bridge is no longer there. TFTC Roostaman.
Thanks for the cache , this is a lovely location. This is the #1628 cache we have found.
Jugiong to Wagga
We have set up camp at the Wilkie Park
Last one of the day, a nice little walk-by.
Thanks for placing this cache Roostaman

Last night I was getting a takeaway across the road and noticed this one nearby, so crossed the road to WP1 and made the calculations. Then this morning I made the easy find. This hasn't been found for over six months, so I can use this for a challenge. Shame about the old bridge, but then again it would have cost a lot of money to restore. TFTC Roostaman.
4637. I found myself here looking at the Historic Engineering Marker and realised that this was here too. So I gathered the required info, did the math and set off to GZ for a quick find.
Thanks Roostaman for the cache. I look forward to tackling some of the other bridges one day and go them chooks.

Visiting some friends in the area and headed out to do the RGGT power trail with a driver to make things easier and pick up a few caches around the area too and this was one of them.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.
I do remember the old bridge from many years ago.

Found with the geo-son during a Monday morning bike-mounted assault on a few Wagga caches. The data was soon gathered and we peddled over to GZ for a quick find. Many thanks Roostaman
Hi there Roostaman. We found your cache "Hampden - Wagga Bridge #1" at 8:35:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 12138.

Today wasn't a particularly good day for 'caching. The weather forecast was for temperatures in the high thirties, and we had too many DNF'd caches. Today we found 7 and DNF'd 4.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We are spending the night in town and while Mel was having a rest, I decided to wander around town and grab another couple of caches. This one looked interesting....the old bridge would have looked pretty awesome spanning across this part of the river. A bit of maths and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Found with family and friends. The Ss me_to Charli_bear and the SuaveNut mob. TYFC ☺.

Apologies for the late log. I found a list of caches that I had found and not logged.
I met my son in Wagga for a days geocaching. This cache brought back fond memories of a bridge I used o cross over 30 years ago. Thanks Roostaman for the hunt and the location .

The Council has dropped the old bridge today.
It will still be a while before they clear the site and allow access again.
This one may have to be modified when we return from our current trip around Oz.

The Council is still making this grand old bridge site safe so it will be another couple of months before it can be re-activated safely.
Temporarily offline while the Council decide what to do with this grand old bridge.
Another Roosta for the day, found an old broken lid container. The log book is missing. Needs a new container.
TFTC Roosterman, went their with MGROCKS today and container broken, no log or lid to container. It will need replacing.
