What a beaut little park. Cache needs some love lid broken, contents wet. Signed the little log in the plastic bag. Been in play since 2005. Wow TFTC
Out for a quick cache to keep the streak alive whilst waiting for geohaze to finish choir practice at a nearby school. Missed this one a while back whilst on a run with Melro9, so thought I'd pop back tonight and cross it off the list. As others have said, container is damaged. Log was dry, but still needs replacing. Tftc
Out on a hot day to fill in a gap on our caching calendar. Arrived at GZ and a short search soon found the container. As noted by others the lid is cracked and the log book was mouldy and damp. Fortunately a dry page in a plastic bag has been left and we were able to sign. TFTC

4/1/17 Found @8:07 pm #2229 After a day out shopping the A/C shops i decided to head out and take the little mutt for a walk and have a little explore of the area with my muggle girlfriend.
Was a beautiful area until the little mutt decided to jump in the creek that had no sides for her to get out so i had to lean over the side of the banks and reach down and drag the little mutt back to terra firma.
After panic over from the GF we continued our little walk to find the nicely hidden cache. Signed the extra log sheet in it but the cache is soaked and in need of help.

Staying in Melbourne with family over Christmas, we were having lunch at Yering Station and picked up a few caches on the way. We approached this from across the park and were feeling quite hot by the time we found this and 'Scout About'. The log is still very wet so we left some new paper in a plastic bag. TFTC
Great little spot, wasn't sure from where to approach based on the map but I made the right choice, thanks for bringing me here. Log wet so unable to sign
Easy find once I was on the right side of the water! Very muddy path though, I got my shoes and socks all wet
Found cache, left pretty stones. the container is breached, allowing moisture in... track is very swampy. Thanks for a lovely afternoon discovery!
2 in one day! Lucky day! Yes was easy once on the right side of the river, otherwise impossible. Thanks for find
Boy and dad got this fella at the third attempt. It's amazing the difference when you park on the right side of the creek. TFTC
Where is the damn bridge? Been raining so river was flowing... Unable to cross. No find.
Finally found once we got the true meaning of 'where's the bridge'. Thanks for bringing us to a beautiful place that we otherwise would not have known of. TFTC!
Yes where was the bridge !!! not where. Looked in all the likely spots to come up empty handed ..stood to take an inventory of my surroundings and there over there spotted a usual suspect . The container lid is becoming a little brittle so may need some TLC in the future . thanks for the walk
Such a nice evening so I went for a cache. Found after doing some ciecle work as GPS was playing up. Great location though. Thanks Tickford for the cache.

Not a bad little spot, Didn't even know about it.
Thanks for bringing us here.

We were going to grab this one a few days ago when we picked up "Scout About", but it was a bit soggy underfoot. So I have returned today with gumboots to finish the task. As I walked to gz I was surprised at yet another beautiful, well kept, and completely hidden park area that I would never have seen if not for Geocaching. I arrived at gz and made the obvious mistake before spotting the real thing a couple of minutes later. After signing the log and re hiding the cache, I continued my stroll to the end of the reserve, enjoying the tranquil beauty of the area before heading back to the car. Thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache.
Found it, Went out this afternoon to get a friends cache nearby and decided to take the walk up to this one as well. Surprised to find a very well maintained section of the reserve hidden over the back. Can see where this one got it's name though...Proved to be an easy find and happy to say it's nice and dry despite the recent rain....TFTC
Out today for a couple hours to find more local caches, we had a try at this cache a few weeks ago but were on the wrong side of the creek, so after looking at google maps I discovered a better way of getting to the cache, after a short walk we arrived at GZ and found the cache nice and quickly, nice size cache thanks Tickford
Took us a while to figure out how to cross the creek. In the end I think we took a more difficult way than necessary. TFTC
This weekend its the 15th Birthday of Geocaching, a good reason to get out and find a few.
So today the sun was out and together with Frostedsunshine we decided to go and do a few caches around Lilydale. So Where's the bridge, very good question. After walking a bit wrong at first we found two options to cross. picked the second one and that wend all good. off to the cache and found that one fairly quick. on the way back we found even two other options from witch one was very easy and we could had got it without even crossing, but we needed to go back to the car. crossed back via a other bridge.
Good fun this one! Thanks

Suscoe was enjoying a wander in the Ringwood suburbs today on a cloudy but pleasant late Autumn day.
The rain kept away but the clouds were heavy at times.
This was our 2nd find of 22 for the day.
Well Mr. S fell for the three card trick here and wandered about looking for that rotten bridge.
No luck one way so the other way was it.
Finally had the cache in hand when Mr. S was sprung but an older lady and her dogs.
She thought Geocaching was a great idea if you don't have a dog to keep you walking.
Thanks to Tickford for placing this cache.

Nice and dry. All secure. Had to cross the creek in a shallow section. Glad it hasn't rained for a few days. Out for an evening cache as the hit sun is heading down. Thanks.
I parked inbetween both caches, lucky because I had to go back to the car for another pen, it died at the other one.
This cache is in good condition, so I don't know why it need maintenance?
Thanks Tickford [:x]

Not sure why the Needs Maintenance attribute is showing. On todays visit cache was in great condition and log book has plenty of room.
Interesting place. Enjoyed the walk this evening. Never knew about this area. Wow our 80th find. Having lots of fun finding them. Thanks Tickford for maintaining this cache in good order.
Went in through Hughes Park and didn't cross the creek at all, was pretty excited to find my first cache!
I left a tigers eye and goldstone bracelet (uni-sex) that I made and swapped it for a Travel Bug I'll be dropping off at another cache tomorrow.

Good balance needed to cross the bridge. This is a great creek view and a nice cache hide spot. Left a Travel bug 2ry81n. It trying to find it's way to NSW. I brought it south a little from a remote spot in the forest (Pines) which was a 4wd great spot, this too is a great spot that may have a geocacher who maybe able to help it in a more northerly travel.
Logging Trackable Bella whw is looking to head north, ideally to NSW.
This is a nice place to rest whilst waiting for another trip.

Workmen were making a new carpark, so I strolled on past them. Wrong way, try again, this time right, but how? Take a shoe off, success. Found the cache, but the lid was 6 metres away. Thanks for the challenge Tickford
It took three goes to find an entrance to the reserve, but once we got to the crossing we just jumped and hoped the creekbed wouldn't be too sludgy. It was okay, with only one wet foot out of four. Thanks for the hide.

Been passed this cache many times but have never been able to find easy access. Today I decided to walk from across the park. Found my way around the fence and did not have to jump the creek. As I was placing the cache back a large dog ran up to me wanting to play. I think I got the cache back before the muggle got close enough to see. Thanks Ticford

After starting of on the wrong side of the creek... And a leap of faith over it... May ended up with wet feet. Kiara001 and I found the cache! Lots of animal wildlife.
A lazy Sunday afternoon, the son and I had a great little adventure. He climbed fallen trees and found the cache all by himself. Great sense of satisfaction! Thanks
If you park where I parked, there are two options to find this cache, get wet feet or go for a drive. Good size cache, took nothing, left torch for anyone going after this in daylight but returning after dark.
Found while driving one of The Chick's school friend home. His school was right next door.

This was the first cache for our Cub Pack! Ten of us were visiting the nearby Scout Hall for a Leadership Course. After dinner, our Leader took us out with a GPS and a torch, and we found our first cache! It was a bit scary in the dark, because we imagined all sorts of things in the bush. But it was really exciting to find the cache and see what was inside! None of us had ever seen a real cache before, though we had done an activity with the GPSs during the afternoon. This was a lot of fun, and we will look for more caches near other activities that our Pack does.
I was nearby for an event with the Cubs. Ducked out to get this. Easiest cache I've found in ages, maybe because of the direction from which I approached. Didn't seem to warrant the 2.5/2.5. TFTC!
Wheres the bridge alright!!! Geez we ended up on the wrong side of the creek and back tracked back to find the spot to cross aventually reaching GZ and signing the cache.

yep the name of this cache makes sense and we spent a long time trying to find the bridge or bridges as it were as there were a few crossings we need to find. Eventually access was found but i took a tumble just to make sure It wasn't too easy cache is in great condition TFTC
Ah, opps! Went for a nice long walk down there wrong side of the creek. Where's the flamin bridge? !?
After a fair bit of back-tracking I found a new crossing just put in and within minutes had the find.
Nice area. TFTC

This place takes me back. Id ride my bike to this place as a teen. It was a handy retreat to be with my thoughts. Thanks for the flashback and thanks for the cache!
# 392 @ 1235. 35 degrees and getting hotter while I am out caching; I must be crazy but loving it. Parked to the south and walk in was probably better than fooding the creek. Thanks for bringing me here. SL TNLN TFTC
[:(!]Some junk in this cache. Cleaned it up but want to remind all Geocachers to make a fair trade.
I quickly realized why this on is named what it is and decided to take a different approach before 50meters. I approached from the south and came up with the goods pretty easily. The lid wasn't on at all, because it was very full of stuff. I removed some inappropriate content and the lid managed to fit (just). A new container might be needed soon, as this one doesn't seal well at all.
Thankfully, the contents were dry, and happy to see me TFTC

After going the wrong to find roads that don't exist (stupid apple maps...), and after some awesome river crossing skills, we made it to the cache. A quick easy find although the lid was open, luckily nothing was wet. It smelled nice there is not pen/pencil though...
Found with A-lexus

was meant to be a quick and easy cache whilst in the area but ended up taking 40 minutes as we walked up and down the creek haha was on the wrong side!
oops bit late this log. forgot pen on first trip. went back second time on 26/09/2012 with geo kid dropped off travel bug BXMWCQ. a good cache to get to got muddy feet.
Ground is drying up and a nice little walk in a very quite area , I noticed the perfume smell straight away when I opened cache, which is better than that musty wet smell you mostly get. Thanks for hide.
Talk about a wet walk to the cache, glad I brought my gum boots along. Nice easy find although I could not replace the cache container lid on firmly I covered it up the best I could to keep the weather out. SL @ 8am TFTC
