We are driving our way to Wellington Dam today and really enjoying our journey and the stops along the way. We came to visit this one and parked the car a few hundred metres away. Although we tried to follow some trails, it looks like most of them around here are disused at the moment. We found the good sized container which is safe and well and have added our name to the log. Thanks varuna Domsky
Out with my son for a camping trip south, we were only travelling Overnight, but we wanted to take the new Cachemobile on some real off road adventrues, Had lot s of fun and found some caches.Nice quick find.[:o_________________________________________________________________ Thanks Varuna for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 09:58:00. This was my Find 3 for today out of a Total number of 12 Finds and 1 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.This find brings my total number of Finds to 5940.
Camped at Potters Gorge over the school holidays, we had a lazy afternoon at the Harris River Winery & were headed back to camp when we had told the kids we would just find one more quick cache
That has us in all kinds of trouble as it was definitely not a drive by & not even on our way back to the campsite lol [:o)] However we did make a quick find after a lovely stroll through the bush!
Thanks Varuna

In Bunbury and Collie for WAGB2022! A massive weekend of caching and catching up with friends. A big thank you to all the COs that have placed caches for this weekend, as well as COs maintained by existing listings. You have made this weekend what it is! Apologies for the generic logs. Cheers Varuna!
Day 5 of WAGB22 week, monster day driving down to Boyanup for FTF, then cleaned up the last of caches in Donnybrook before heading to outer Bunbury, Eaton and Australind.
The highlight was the 16km ride down the peninsula before the Welcome to Bunbury event.
Why stop there, out to Dalyellup and inner City Bunbury. Today totalled 95 finds, 9 FTF and 5 DNF’s.
Thanks to all the cache owners and sorry about the generic text.

TFTC! Had a mission today. Day trip to Bunbury to complete some goals, some more important than others! We had a couple of archived caches to grab, one in dardanup and another south of Mandurah. The second was a cache to fill a square in our jasmer grid in the Wellington Forrest and the third a little less (or more) caching related depending on how you look at it, collecting steves pillow He left at our accomodation from last weeks mega caching weekend.
We met in Byford this morning, heading down South West Highway towards Harvey where we had a couple of caches near Harvey dam to collect which we didn't have time to grab on the way home from our trip on the weekend. All found relatively quickly except for running out of reception as one of us, who is in charge of the days list and saving offline etc forgot to do!!
We made our way around coming down to pickup bowling C our archived cache which was on better condition than most active caches I've seen lately, if I must say.
We then went down and grabbed Lenard Zinn cache which fills in yet another jasmer grid for us, we've nearly maxed out our potential squares we can fill in WA without venturing to the Northwest.
We then moved our attention to the leschenault peninsula and a few older caches on the list there which have always been in the too hard basket. Unfortunately we were left with a locked gate which meant we had to leave three behind as it was getting late in the day and we didn't have time to complete the 14km return walk from the potential parking spot.
We then were on the home stretch towards Mandurah where a cache Steve always had his eye on lives, the legendary "spider island", a lovely cache by "the explorer", love their hides. A nice walk exactly a kilometre from shore and a nice quick find once we got into the middle of the island.
I do recall having the mickey taken out of me for wearing "me swimming shoes", but only one of us was laughing when the other was complaining about stepping on and getting bitten by all these crabs in the area! Should bring a net back I think!!
Thanks to the local COs for an awesome day out. Only 20odd caches, not a huge day for numbers, but a good day for the stats. Thanks

Special thanks to Granett and SVKR for replacing the cache. We had a cache in the car ready to replace it after ourselves unsuccessfully trying to contact the CO over a month ago. Only when I read up on the cache page as we were coming to the area I read grannett and svkr log. Thanks guys

On a geocaching boys weekend camping at Honeymoon Pool with Granett, Kyzabra, and Allied Oz and the kids. Having a great break in a wonderful location. Hope the weather holds.
Granett and I headed out to grab this one to fill a Jasmer spot. Granett had attempted to contact the CO unsuccessfully, so after being unable to find this one, Granett replaced it to keep this cache alive.
Varuna. SVKR_WA found your cache on 12 November 2016. This find brings our finds count to 1669.
We have signed the log and replaced the hide as found.
Thanks for bringing us to this place.

Camping at Honeymoon Pools for a weekend away with Kyzabra, AlliedOz, SVKR_WA and Koala 53 along with some accompanying tin lids. A great few days with lots stories, some good hearted banter and the odd beverage here and there.
In my research for the weekend I saw that we would be going past this one and also noticed that it looked like it may have been destroyed by fire. I messaged the CO that I was prepared to place a replacement cache at the location.
So armed with a couple of containers SVKR_WA and I made our way to GZ from our parking spot 250 meters away on River road. Had a good look around but couldn't even spot any resemblance of a cache so we scouted around for a likely hidey hole and placed a 2 liter sistema under a log.
Always good to claim a smiley on a older listing and hope future visitors feel the same.
Varuna I found your cache at 12:47pm, this was the 5th of 10 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 3618.

Didn't find this one today-lesson learned check recent logs before embarking on a caching journey
A few months back, Granett mentioned that he wanted to try and tackle Top On Hop again. That was all the invitation we needed, and the plans started from there.
jinta29 and I headed down a day early to make the most of the trip and collect lots of smilies and old caches. This one was on the list.
We parked and walked through the burnt out bush, but there we were unable to find anything here.

Varuna, I had to DNF your cache Lennard Zinn on 26/11/2015, 5:29 PM. This is my DNF # for today.

we looked for about 10 mins but couldn't find it. we think it was burnt in the burn off.
This was a vintage Aushiker hide so I am very grateful to Varuna for keeping it going. Lots of fun out here in the bush today with Mistraluna
Out today with ~Tango~ on a bit of a mystery tour, with the vague idea of heading down Collie way. Never quite got into Collie, though we skirted around the area picking up the odd geocache along the way. After taking a tumble down at the bridge, I needed a bit of a hide to walk out the stiffness and restore my equilibrium (not to mention my dignity!!). Found this cache no problems. Thanks Varuna
Bit of caching after Munda bidding. Ez find nice bit of bush lining from the quarry / pit. tnlnsl t4tc
lots of laughs as mrs crump and mrs copwat set of to find this one while geo hubbys looked for the flare off mr crumps car which came off after trying to squeeze down a track. a great walk in the bush at the end of a lovely day spent caching with friends tftc
Decided to do this one since did 'Is Anybody Out There?!' cache close by. Parked around otherside of antenna and only had about 280m to walk through the bush. I didn't trip up/stumble so it can't be too bad a bush walk then .
A simple find by muggle partner once we were at gz.

Thanks for the hide. Took a bit of a bush bash down the hill from 'is anybody out there'.
Parked in the gravel pit close by. Quite thick bush here with lots of logs etc. No problems finding the cache, but walked a little further than I intended getting back!
Found it and took the geocoin - will drop off somewhere with a higher rate of visits.
Walked up from Honeymoon Pool! What a walk! Good exercise. Took a while but eventually found it. Dropped off a coin that needs to get to NZ.
Good walk through scrub. Found cache at TV tower first then onwards to this one. Geokids ( 5, 10) had no problems.TFTC
Great hunt, nice walk in the bush parked on side of road only 250m from cache, just had to make sure we didnt get lost coming back!
- May want to rethink about taking on this cache if you have the geokids with you that are under the age of 10. We were a little sneaky with this one and waited for the GPS to say we where 230m from the cache while travelling on the road then parked the 4wd there and headed to it on foot. Thick bush is some parts but great hunt wicked cache!!! Brilliant afternoon out with geofriends!!! Dropped off the Sam's Rhodian Geocoin - TFTH
Our second of the Easter weekend. Bush bashed with the gang. Enjoyed it. TFTC
It was difficult to find a parking spot...Mr Bushies2 went alone while I stayed in the car with our dog. Thanks for the cache.
Parked on the side of the road for this one. It said there was no track through the bush but it was only 200m and the bush wasn't very thick so it was quite easy going. TFTC
Nice bush to walk through. We made a quick find, signed the log and retrieved Broken Witches TB. TFTH
A great walk though the bush...

Lovely bush. Found it easily. Noted my direction on the way, but found I could see the tower easily to get back. TFTC TNLN.
Nice little walk through the bush, although my GPS was having all manner of problem at the beginning, kept pointing me in different direction and had no idea where it was, to the point where the WP I added for my car was over 100m out.... Anyway, by the time I got to the cache, away from the tower it was working fine and I found the cache easily.
Took the Zebra TB, the other TB was not in the cache. Thanks for the hunt!

Nice bushwalk. Finding way back to car intresting after ignoring the tips. Great cache. Found at 5.15pm
With Briggbootms. Moderately serious walk in the forest, either way-point your car or keep an idea of where the tower is.
Found around 11:30 - Lovely bit of open bush to wander through. Little bit worried about finding our way out until realised the tower is visible for a long way, parking near the tower works well for that reason alone!
Took nothing, left Zebra TB "I like to move it !", thanks for the cache Aushiker and Varuna!

found this on sunday as it is a bit far in with the kids and we were running out of time. took the newbies again and we hiked through the bush. took us about 20 minutes to find but we did it! just a thought... if you dont park in the suggested location (like us) waypoint where you park as you are out in the middle of the bush and could easily get lost as there is no trail!
edit... dont remember seeing the trackable in there. i can not say it definately was not i just dont remember seeing it.

Good walk through the bush but not a good idea in shorts. Even avoiding as many prickly bushes as possible I was still covered in scratches and punctures. TFTC.
Wow, what a short bush walk, dodging and weaving to get to the cache. Took Bob the Builder Hammer, left yoyo. TFTC
Out caching the 4WD tracks in the area with Beauges, rjm1 and VolKayno. It was a 350 mts trek through the scrub to this one, located without difficulty.

We followed the bush track from the tower. Nice walk in. TNLN. Thanks Aushiker (adopted by Varuna)
WanderingAus wandered by on day four of a seven day meander through the Wheatbelt, Southwest and Great Southern regions.
I hadn't read the cache notes, so I parked at the nearest point on the road and bush-bashed (pretty easy going) from the North for only 230 metres before making an easy GAFF 1 find at 9:30 AM.
My find No 1189 and 33rd of 77 for the trip, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing it back again.

My interest in geocaching has waned to the point I am pulling out of the game. Where possible I would like to see my caches and trackables adopted by another cacher so if you are interested please contact me. However, caches which require maintenance or appear to have been muggled will be archived. Lang may yer hum reek! Andrew.
On our way home ducked into the Quarry and 'bashed' our way in. That's quite a tower!

Certainly didn't expect to see other cachers in such a secluded spot, I thought they were orienteering as they were carying what looked like a map, when the "Did you find it?" rang out it was obvious enough.

just got back from a weekend relaxing in the forest doin some caching.
this was a great cache! Very remote thick bush area. Came across 2 othewr cachers who tried to hide their GPS until a "DID YOU FIND IT??" at the top of my voice and a flash of the GPS got them to relent!! Muggles indeed!!
reccommended to go looking for it.
Had a future member with us who will be known as "Crackatinnie" when they get the ball rolling.

Even though it was originally a Premium Members Cache I got the co-ords from the Geocaching Australia Website. My temptation to get to this one was the Jeep Travel Bug however Varuna got it first.
It's funny Aushiker I have had a Ammo tin in the car for some weeks waiting for me drop one off up here but just didn't have the time to get up here. Was trying to get here yesterday however Varuna beat us to the FTF. Congratulations.
Thanks for the hunt.
