OCW EverestHigh and 4Rods, only Myself and Ev needed this one, and the find was made after not too long, my gps was a bit jumpy in this area, but the cache was found which is all that matters in the end anyway, Nice to find another really old cache, unfortunately there seems to be a bit of dumping around the start of the trails to GZ including, a boat? Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache over the years GIN51E.
Wow! There is indeed a creek below, a long way below, and we were very careful not too fall over the edge, and end up down below ourselves. OCW 4Rods and Gavingo4. TFTC GIN51E
We were taking a leisurely drive to Brooklyn after a wonderful lunch at nearby Saddles, when we saw this cache pop up at the same time as a nicely convenient parking spot. With all those FPs it was bound to be a good one so we stopped in for a short walk and some rock-hopping to GZ. Justifiably a favourited cache (now +1) with spectacular views here - yes you can get similar views from the car just down the road but it's pretty special having this little piece of paradise to yourself. Cache and log in great condition, thanks for maintaining this one out here!
This would of been the cache of the day today. Interesting trek to gz, working my way down, then down again. Spor spotted in quick time. Back to the top, for a few moments of contemplation, looking at the view. Such a peacful river this morning, or is it a creek? TFTC. Fav from me.
Definitely some rock hopping through the bush but was worth it for the view. Great cache!
Stopped here for a quick leg stretch. What an awesome spot with a great view. The water far down below is looking a bit browner than usual.
The cache was found quickly enough thanks to a generous hint and we had fun scrambling around the rocks.
Thanks for the Cache!

Finally after driving past this cache so many I times, I have made the effort to hunt it down. It is a long way down to that creek I came in one way and left by another. Cache is in good nick. Thanks for the cache and bringing me here.

Woohoo!!!!!
It's so nice to avenge a DNF. It's taken me quite a while to return to this cache. My DNF was back in September of 2012!!!!! The cache was easy enough to find this time. I'm sure I looked there but perhaps my geosenses were not honed enough at that time to recognise the hiding spot. Every time I drive up the freeway, which is quite regularly, I know that blue frownie is sitting there, laughing at me. Well..... NO MORE!!!!
Thanks GIN5IE for the fun. It's certainly a great location. Cheers.

Heading north with dty73, Flintstone's (Aquilus1) and Tankengine to wait out the covid happenings and find out the fate of Qld and the daybro mega. Logs may be logged as DFAT to save room.
Made our way down and after an easy enough scramble, and a bit more. The cache was soon found. A little assistance to haul me back up but an awesome location!

Day One of our Caching Easter Trip
Together with Tankengine, Aquilus1 and Flintstone’s we traveling from Canberra to Port Macquarie. Today was more about collecting counties than numbers. And we collect a couple that were easy to get, saw some interesting things and got stuck in a few traffic jams. But all up a great day, especially at the end when we got to catch up with friends that night. We signed most log books as DFAT. Yes, we did notice many other variations of our initials.
This cache: We parked off the road in the little area, then walk along and down through the rocks that were very interesting. The view of the creek was amazing. Thanks Mtrax for the recommendation, this was definitely a good one to visit. And of course Tftc GIN51E!!!

A excellent spot and a bit of rock hopping required but well worth the visit.
Road trip north from ACT, originally to Dayboro, but now a caching trip around NSW for the Easter break.

#6935 Day 1 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. After one day this has provided an interesting selection. The forecast for showers did not eventuate, so it was a good day.
There certainly was a creek below. A very wide one especially after all the rain. Great view from gz. It took us a while to locate it.

Second day of caching in Newcastle and surround before making my way home south via the Entrance in the late afternoon. Again perfect weather today and a light breeze. A quick few stops after this along the road home. Surprise location here, I loved it!

Pulled in at the south end of the crash barrier and then wandered np back north for a bit before finding the rocks. Wound my way down to near GZ and then read hint and scrambled a bit more. Quickly spotted the hide and got down and grabbed the cache. Another nice old cache and nice spot - a favourite added. Flowering Doryanthes nearby.

Found with Shaneo58 on a nice day in late autumn, with temperatures in the low 20s. We just wanted to find some after a long break due to travel restrictions, for the last two months. We came down to the Central Coast to catch up on some old ones. Found a good spot to park and headed of to GZ. Clampered down and made a quick find. Log signed and caches replaced as found. Out caching with Miss Unicorn of Beary_Unicorns today. Great location with some breathtaking views ( i'd probably think they were only OK if I didn't bother to look at them too) Have a safe and happy new year
Found the terrain quite hard as still getting over a broken ankle. Took about 10 mins to find and the view was ok Tftc tnln
A slight detour off the freeway to an amazing view as I also grab a cache which gives me another clue towards this museum mystery saga. Lid on cache damaged on the corner but it is hidden well enough that the weather is not really an issue. Log is dry. Beaut spot! TFTC, GIN51E.

Good location but scrambling down wet rocks was tricky. Recommend good shoes. Take care. Cache and log was dry. TFTC

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Some of us walked down while others waited and admired the view. They located the find
What a beautiful view from gz! We're glad we persevered though it took time for the gps to settle. We're not looking forward to the climb back up. Tftc
On Holiday working my way up the coast.
Took one path to the cache, a hard one.
And a easier one back out.
Found a golf ball on the way to the cache
(swag for a cache bigger then this one)

Out and about on this holidaytrip down under. Many things to see and do here and of cause there are some geochacing to be done.
Did spend some time studying the map before I left home, my list of geocaches that I Would like to find is long....so will have to chose wisely.
Guess the best ones are not on my list, longer hikes, high trees and mulitcaches are anmong my favorites, but limited time made me put others on my list.
This was one of the caches I found during my stay here

Fun Trek. Further down than I initially assumed but easy enough thanks to the clue. Tftc
After work i came back to this location to find this one. i parked nearby and went rock hopping. There were so many locations it could have been hiding but a weird barbie doll head was on top of the rock i was looking for. Found the cache signed the log and took a playing card that is useful in revealing the location of another cache. I then admired the views before heading home. TFTC
Pulled over about 100m from GZ and spied the rocks to clamber down. Did all that, was easier than expected, and then checked how close I was - still 70m to go... These obviously were just the beginner rocks! I then did a tiny bit of bush bashing to discover the real rocks, which were much larger and more expansive. Sadly it was sunset and not sunrise, so I didn't get any colours but the view was great nevertheless!Spotted what I was adamant was the cache from about 15m up, but when I made my way down to fetch it I realised it was a discarded toaster. After a brief examination to check that it truly wasn't camo, I then spied the cache guardian in recent photos - but no cache to be seen! It was a further 10m-20m away, in a totally different section where I spied some suspicious camo placement and found the cache hiding beneath. Much smaller than I expected, but a good sized log in there that I was able to sign. Had a little less fun clambering back up, but overall it was a fun adventure! Thanks for a lot of fun, and tftc!

Decided to take the opportunity to head up north for a few caches - including a few short bush caches since the rain has finally stopped.
Target was around Mount White where I tried to clear out all but the high terrain long bushwalk hides.
Went for nine and found eight - and the DNF was half expected due to the most recent logs.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Was expecting an easier walk to GZ than I got on this one. Like my previous bushwalk today once I left the trail it was scratchy time.
But this one was shorter and after a rock scramble and a quick search I spied something suss enough to check - CIH!
Completed signing duties and replaced. The back up and out... ouch, ouch...

MrSmith00 and I headed up the M1 in an attempt to find a cache that had eluded him a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately we couldn't find it, but he he had a backup in mind. We made our way towards the gz and passed the remnants of the local party spot. Most of the detritus was the usual filth, but a short distance away we found a creep plastic doll. She seemed to have a character about her so I decided to bring her with us as we looked for the cache. A short time later we made it to the gz, where MrSmith00 promptly discovered the cache. Signed and replaced. And now a guardian watches over the area...

Tftc, with a break in the weather I made my way up the coast with Azzepious. Parked at the access trail and made our way past the rubbish and down to GZ. I made the find while Azzepious scrambled around the rocks.
We found a creepy cache guardian who now watches over the cache.

Found this cache relatively easily. Once we had made our way through the scrub to the rock, it was an easy find. Clue was spot on. TFTC.
Bit of rubbish around by the side of the road, but one you get past that there is some nice views and some fun boulders. It took me a while to find the cache, even after I had read the hint, and even though the hint pretty well spells out where to look ... I very much enjoyed the explore and great views too. The cache isn't quite waterproof anymore but I don't think the water is getting to it so all good! Signed log. TFTC!
What a cracking spot. We didn't realise we were so high until we noticed a boat down below that looked teeny weeny! Found a very likely hiding place and had a good look inside but to no avail of course. Would have made a great spot though! Anyway, the cache was soon spotted shortly afterwards. TFTC!

I've had my eye on this one for ages but never seemed to be the right time. Made time today to head north - this being 5th of 5. Have climbed up to Mt White plenty of times on the road bike and I must say its much easier in a car. It had started to drizzle but that wasn't going to stop me. I really enjoyed the view and rock hopping. Lots of places to hind a small cache but on this rare occasion, I pretty much walked straight up to it.

Found by Mary & David at 1115. A FP for the views and the rocks. David took his time and picked out the easiest descent that he could. Found the cache quickly once he reached the right level. With so many clouds, the water was lime a grey mirror below. A pity so much rubbish has been dumped just off the road. Our thanks to GIN51E.
31/7/16. 8:44 AM. Cache #4062.
1st of 4 caches today - Mooney Mooney Creek, Eastwood, Carlingford.
With the Geocaching NSW AGM on today, I had saved a couple of traditionals nearby and was going to leave my caching to just those three, thus clearing out my home 10km. But then the Mission GC came along and I had to add a target with over 10 favourite points. Filtering for unfounds that meet that criteria, there wasn't anything all that close to home - only 8 within 30km, including this one. So I'd picked it out last night and made plans to head out early to get it.
I enjoyed the rock-hopping and managed to find the cache without too long a search. A quick trip back home, followed by a diversion to Big W to get the new Harry Potter book for the girl. Next cache was "Puppy Trail No.2". TFTC.

Some days I question my fitness as a parent, and then there's the days when I carry my two year old down the side of a cliff. HA HA she loved it, especially when I let her sign the log. TNLN TFTC awesome views!
I have great memories of driving along this road as a child with my mother and running out of petrol and having to walk home in the dark , singing at the top of our lungs to keep the fear at bay. Today I had a full tank and my geo dog to keep me company. it is a shame someone has decided to dump big old barrels in the bush nearby. I got near geo zone and started searching around. there are many places here a cache could be hidden but thankfully the coords are spot on so that made things easier. A fav point awarded for the great view. Thanks for the cache GIN51E tnln sl
Felt a little hoppy today so decided to rock hop on down to this Cache. Very slippery and lots of bity things take some spider repellant sticks with you on this one TFTC
Wow, that was a long time between drinks! Very early in my caching career I DNF'd this cache in November 2009, now 6 and a half years later I can cross it off the 'Beaten Me' list on my second attempt. Well worth the visit. Cache is cracked but safe and dry. Reckon you could get an ammo can here for sure when it comes to replacement! Cheers
A lovely spot for a cache with magnificent views. I was expecting it a little higher from the hint but it was still a quick find. I really enjoyed the rock scramble.

Mrs C has been wanting to go on a caching day for a while, but with work and other commitments we haven't been able to get out. Today was another matter. Even when the heavens opened up raining down its sogginess, we still made the most of the day. In total we found 23 caches.
We parked the car, and made the short walk. Mr C made his way down, carefully removing the many spider webs along the way. He looked in many a place with the GPS not settling down, and as he was giving up and making his way up, he saw the prize we were after. An amazing view from up here. A fav point for the location.

I had to visit our aircraft radar surveillance (WAM) site at Calga today, to fix up some faults caused by the big Sydney cyclone last week, so decided to pick up some caches along the way. We were also trying to keep our "mini" streak, that I had started while on a work trip to Melbourne a few weeks ago, going for a little longer. This was the 4th find of the day.
Exited the M1 (F3) freeway at Mooney Mooney and, after finding "Peat's Grave", "Cheer-eo" and "Classic Motorcycles #BSA Spitfire", continued along the Old Pacific Highway to this one.
Parked the geomobile at the gated track, and then lightly bush bashed my way down to GZ. Walked down past the very impressive "balancing" rock, and then on to GZ. A quick search of the likely hidey holes soon uncovered the hide, and I had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC.

Astonishing view! Parked safely and had a good walk/little climbing to GZ. Terrain like that is vital having a good clue. For all mentioned, I award a favourite point! Cache is in good conditions. Thanks GIN51E for the cache and for bringing me here
Wow, what a spot, it's going to be very hot today and I'm hot right now after the climb, some one is collecting women's bras and bikinis here. TFTC
TFTC thoroughly loved the rock climbing, proud of agile geo mum who scaled most the way down and back. Definitely not one for a rainy day.
Taking a slow way to Gosford, this was my fourth stop. Parked at a logical spot, and added a few more scratches to my body. Great view!
After scrabbling around the rocks for a while, a suspicious pile of rocks soon gave up the cache.

After parking on the left of the M1 just before Jolls Bridge to go for a hill climb to 'Breathless' the only option is to proceed north. I took the Mt White exit and then headed south on the Old Pacific Hwy so naturally stopped for a few hides on the way. On the bend in the road near GZ there was ample space for parking and to watch the never ending procession of bikes and classic cars as they tend to prefer this run than the monotony of the M1...
After the suggested rock hopping and a few happy snaps I located the hide and completed the signing.
These bush hides are thoroughly worthwhile, particularly if you like to mix caching with the outdoors as opposed to the park down the road or the bus shelter along the highway.
Thanks GIN51E for another marvelous vista!

Instead of heading straight to Sydney for our weekly geo get together, Mumma-Kel and I turned off the M1 at Mt White and detoured down the old highway to Brooklyn this morning to pick up a few unfound caches along that stretch. I had bypassed this one a couple of times in the past because I'd been running short of time, but no excuses today. After clambering down a level or two, we saw the tree we were looking for but realised the cache was going to be closer to its base, a couple of further levels down. The younger and more agile of our team then made her way further down while I supervised from the rock I was on ... and it wasn't long before I heard the cry, "Got it!", come out. Thanks for the cache Gin5ie and for bringing us to a great view of the Creek Below.
Out and about with Opa-Shrek for our weekly geo-fix and I'd decided today was a day for tackling those we would normally pass by - this being one we'd both passed on many times previous it was the first real cab off the rank today (apart from a quick P&G). In no time we were at the edge, but the device insisted the cache was another 15m or so, so we rock hopped onward and downward a little, passing by the Underwear Installation Lavinian spoke of. Still not where the GPSr wanted us, I left Opa-Shrek above as a landmark and went along further to get down further, then tracked back until I was below him - a quick check around told me this was still not quite right so I headed down yet another keel, where the cache was quickly and easily found. Called out to Opa-Shrek above, did the usual do, then headed back up (as always, an easier way than I'd come) rejoining Opa-Shrek in moments.
The cache was further down than I'd expected it would be, but you were definitely right about the specky views, even on a dreary/foggy winters morning.
Thanks for the cache to make us stop by here and explore GIN51E

3 tiers of rocks qualify but got there eventually. Interesting formation on rocks above - no doubt local lads having fun ( but what does one do with 20- odd bras?)
We started our extended trip from Dural. Our first stop was at Berowra Waters. After, we made our way to Forster.

I've had my eye on this for quite some time but never quite got around to trying for it. I should've waited for a cooler day, though, as I was wearing only boardies and collected a fair few scratches on the way in and out. A good hide which took some searching before finally being spotted. The lid of the container is cracked, though where it is water ingress shouldn't be a problem and in any event the contents are dry. TFTC.
I had no source of illumination with me today and way too many dark hiding spots so gave up.
Further off the road than i was expecting but worth the little adventure. Tought for a second i'd never find the cache with so many spots within 5m of GZ but it showed itself without too much hastle.
There was a cool view a few metres away from the cache too

Found on our way up the coast. The kids where a bit restless so turned off for the freeway to this way. Parked nearby and headed through the light bush to gain some spectacular views over the creek from above the creek. It is looks like a few local frequent the place by some of the junk around. We to the likely spot and dropped to below where a bit of search turned up the find. We grabbed the travel bug and then completed the signing duties before re hiding. TFTC
I have been eyeing this one off for a while now. The time was right for me to make my way to find this little beauty.
I parked in the parking area and started making my way towards the GZ, pushing my way through the scrub. I hadn't expected to be doing this today and hadn't mentally prepared myself for the ambush of prickly plants. I finally found the amazing views and took a little time to explore the area before searching for the cache. It appears there have been others here before me as I found two camping mugs that someone has obviously brought down to have a drink and enjoy the view with.
After enjoying peeking about in different places I headed to the GZ. More evidence of others was found on the way down. A bit of reading material of the local teenage boys could be found pushed up under a rock. I wonder if they read the articles????
Got to GZ and took a few minutes but found the cache well hidden! I enjoyed this cache a lot, thanks for bringing me to such a special spot!
TFTC cheers

I parked in the parking area and started making my way towards the GZ, pushing my way through the scrub. I hadn't expected to be doing this today and hadn't mentally prepared myself for the ambush of prickly plants. Found during a lazy days drive up north for the Easter weekend. A great view and quite peacefull given the relative proximity to the freeway. The geo-son and I did some scrambling and soon had the cache in hand (the cache has been around almost as long as him!) Definitely deserves a favourite from us. Many thanks GIN51E
Tftc after a quick climb down the rocks we soon had cache in hand... had to battle afew spiders great views
We were on our way to Brooklyn via the freeway when we were caught in a massive traffic jam. We u-turned out of there and headed back to jump on the old road and continue our journey when we saw a few caches come up. We got to GZ good enough but the cache didn't show itself for about 10 mins! It was well tucked away and we were looking harder than we needed to. Great view of the creek below from here. Thanks GIN51E
Found with Wazza9, after rock hopping as suggested, while Wazza9 was looking into all the cracks & crannies, I looked around here & there and was standing right where Wazza9 found it. TFTC It is a good view, but the water is very dirty
TFTC,
Returning south after a great visit with friends up north for a couple of days.
Decided to get a few caches along the old Hwy.
We did a lot of looking into various caves and after some 10 minutes I came up with the container.
Visited a group of trackables to build up some Km's for the owners.

Another amazing view and cache, this one proved a little challenging to find but persistence paid off after one last look there it was. The container needs a re vamp as it's cracked but the log is still dry and usable
