Came across this one as we camped the night here. It seems people are still maintaining and writing in the log book. It was a nice surprise as we didnt have it on our GPS. TFTH
I have decided to archive this cache as I no longer live in tumby bay and have some difficulty returning to Tumby to carry out maintenance on my caches.I will arrange for this cache to be removed. Thanks to all that visited over the years....the truth is out there....somewhere...
I will try and get the trackable item in this cache moved on as soon as possible......

Wow. That is a pretty obvious cache. You can see it from the other side of the carpark. I guess the gum boots are swaps for wetter days.
Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble. Didnt know that aliens wore gumboots. Would be a cool overnight camp spot but had more caches to do. NIGHT Cache

Found the cache after walking in though the scrub from the sealed road. Out by the track.
Log book was a good laugh. Great to find a cache critter from the Czech Repulic, thanks Liz & Bruce.
We will move it on as requested to greener pastures as this one is very bare.

A caravan friendly spot (good for overnight) if you are game and the alien activity isnt too daunting. Thanks B*DS
Only found it by accident, but it looks like fun and decided to join up.
I took nothing from it but left a small cowrie shell.
Cheers

Nice easy "driveto". Has been found by lots of non-cachers, so the log book made us laugh! TFTC.
H9 and I walked half way across the country, only to find wife driving up the road. What a great camping spot. Looked like it had been used for this before.

as part of a drive around the the lower EP we thought that we should drop into this before lunch at the bakery in Tumby Bay, but alas the bakery was closed. Dame #@*!~$%&^ as we had it on good authority that it opened on sunday, because the last time we came on saturday and it was closed also. Need to get more caches this way so maybe we will get there soon.

This would have to be our easiest find for the day we didn't even need the GPS for this one. Sorry no UFO's to day but after leaving this cache we saw a low flying object in the air. (that would have been the spray plane doing it's tricks)

Drove straight past the turn off and had to back-track!
Plenty of parking space!! Even if you landed in a Spaceship!, sadly no sign of visitors from outer space today
We thought that it was quite easy to find and would like to suggest that some of the native flora could be utilised in hiding the cache.
Dragged a large branch off the access road so that future cachers will be able to get into this cache in their Geomobiles.

Found during my 12 day Nullabour Plain and Eyre Peninsula cave surveying and geocaching extravaganza. As soon as i reached GCP, i felt strangely drawn to the universal currency of fridge magnets hiding in their vault. Without even looking at my global currency locator unit, i was able to find the sorce of attraction. As i had no currecny with me I was unable to make a deposit or withdrawal, however, i had been strangely realigned and at one with the universe again, thanks to the power of the magnets.
Thanks for this enchanting experience B*DS

Did some laps with the caravan to try and make contact - either it didn't work or they just realised I wanted them to take the brat boys away - saw a motorbike rider who the boys thought looked like Darth Vader heading in as we were heading out, hmmm, what could he be up to? - TFTC
I’ve heard of “crop circles†– but “gum tree circles

23:10 Decision made was made for us, we're camping here the night as we found the container full of water and everything inside was completely saturated. I quickly placed the contents in the engine bay. Still quite damp in the morning so I sent off an email to B*DS informing them of the situation.
Great spot for a stop-over anyway. The next morning during a casual convo the lady in the fuel station at Tumby Bay told me what this area was for so 'someone knows' LOL

At last another cache in the local area. Thanks heaps B*D'S. I will return the favour with a few new caches, just as soon as life gets a little less hectic. Seem to have been busy teaching, writing reports and marking exams for students, including a certain member of the B*D'S, who kept this cache very close to their chest.
Anyway, had no trouble finding the cache, and was very interested in the site. Drive past this regularly and just assumed it was a turn off into a farm. Cache hiding spot was being shared with a very cute little gekko and a not so cute big spider. Even went out and bought a very expensive magnet of our local town to put in the cache to celebrate F.T.F.
