The part required for a full replacement of this one is unavailable until mid-December.Optimistically, we may be able to have it back up and running around then - but more realistically with the busy Christmas season, it may wind up being seen to towards the end of that month - B3
This one may well be missing and will require a more heavy-duty replacement that will be available towards the end of October at the earliest. Thanks to those who reported this was in need of attention! - B3
Hello! I've tried finding this a couple of times with no luck & there's a heap of DNFs. Do you know if it's still there?
I live not too far from here but have only just gotten around to searching for it. Unfortunately no luck
This one had me beat today. I will be doing this walk/ride on a regular basis now so I will keep my eyes peeled.
Spending our weekend down on the peninsula we headed out for a bike ride this morning to grab a few caches. Unfortunately no luck here today from us. Found where we think the cache should be but may be missing since last find was 6 months ago. pic sent to CO
Found, signed and returned. What an amazing area. Not many birds about for a "birdwatcher's paradise" but maybe it's the time of year. Cheers!
Out for a walk on a nice sunny day that started at the 'creek' end of this trail. This is the third 'time' we have found so far on the clock so looking forward to continuing to explore the peninsula! TFTC
Fabulous day out with Geo_Bro. Couldn't go to French island as boat broken but had terrific day anyway tftc
The last thing I wanted to be doing on a Sunday morning was heading into work. However the dramas that start last thing on a Friday afternoon were still occurring and it was driving me crazy that it still wasn't fixed. As such I headed in myself to try to fix things myself. After finishing up, I needed to clear my mind and this swampy, boardwalk geocache looked pretty good.
I enjoyed the stroll passing only a few other people and seeing a number of skinks and blue tongued lizards, but each was too fast for me and was unable to get a photo. The lizards, not the people obviously. Got to the lookout and I was unable to find any geocache where I would have hidden it. Then looked at my GPSr and realised I was 20 meters away. Pleased that I found it quickly with great coordinates
Thanks for the cache Piglet & for keeping it going Dumber Than Rocks

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to DumberThanRocks for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

A refreshing walk through the wetlands, in the misting rain.
Cache found easily thanks to the hint.
Clue collected.
Only one jogger passed me by on my return walk.

This was our first find while on today's bushwalk through this amazing area down to Jack's Beach and back. Once the compass pointed to '0', Jen did the honours and we were soon signing the log at 11:00.
TNLNSL noted clue and our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks piglet* (adopted by DumberThanRocks).

It was our mission today to collect some puzzle clues and I can safely say we achieved our goal, a lovely stroll a long the boardwalk soon had the cache and clue in hand, thanks for placing this series
Made the fairly long journey out to this cache today. This was the last in the series I needed to find even though I’ve already found the bonus cache. Glad to have all of these caches ticked off. Thanks for the cache and the great series
Replaced with a 180ml Sistema.
New container, new logbook and that all-important clue! - B3

It's back! Should be all nice and secure unless those flies buzzing around the area decide to take off with it!
If all goes to plan, the Piglet's Peninsula Puzzler series should get a check-up this weekend. Stay tuned! - B3
Piglet's Peninsula Puzzler- 4'o'clock was transferred from BorisB&Natasha to user DumberThanRocks
I reckon this might have gotten lost. Kids are gutted as we won’t be able to solve the puzzle !!
A quick find while caching in the area, we enjoyed the walk on a nice sunny day.
Cache and contents were in good condition.

After a depressing trail with all the geos missing. It was a relief to find this one and brighten up my 4 y.o
29/02/2020 16:45 29/02/2020 16:45 This was a bad day. Not having much luck at all here whilst out with Andrea, that said, this larger container didn't take to long to find so this become my first, and only find for the day. At least I do get the 29th Feb. souvenir Also picker up trackable Kia Ora. TFTC BorisB&Natasha TNLN SL
Thanks for this find with CrowlyRN. A little sad to see wetlands in the drought time though.
A lovely walk, and the mangroves were cool. Loved the long boardwalk, but it wasn't so fun when we were heading back and got a little rained on.
After parking the car and grabbing some lunch, we first went out and deduced the co-ords for the nearby multi, before heading out to do a few of these caches on this brilliant walk. We really enjoyed the walk, despite a few smatterings of rain and luckily we were back in the car before it began pelting down. TFTC!
Out doing another series and come across this one. Looking forward to completing this series too. Thanks for the cache.
Found this series with the GeoKids and muggle husband a few weeks back. Lots of fun.
The goal for today was to have a short to medium length walk and find some caches. I thought this series would do nicely given that it was approximately 4km in length, had at least one puzzle cache to keep my daily puzzle streak going and there were a couple of old neighbouring caches which were worth finding as well.
This was one of those old and venerable caches. Thanks for adopting this one and keeping it going, P and N. Much appreciated and very scenic at GZ.

This morning started with a nice boardwalk stroll, which involved waiting out a higher than expected number of muggles. The cache was in plain sight when I approached, so I made sure it was magnetised a little further back! Now to complete another series along this path! Thanks so much for placing this cache BorisB&Natasha
Another visit to the Mornington Peninsula to seek out specific caches this week, including finalising the Piglet series. This little piggie was found as we hit the Dory and Nemo series conveniently We now have enough clues to work out GZ which was one of our main targets for the day.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for the cavhe placement.

After spending the morning with *The Empire, Omegaman* and *Jentrek* as we tackled the series along a rail trail with our bikes we decided to grab this along the way to another nearby series.

We came here after doing another bike series up the road. It has been great to do two bike rides in one day. The weather was perfect just like the company. Thanks for placing.
Found by The Empire with Snap Happy, Jentrek1 & Omegaman
After having a great time smashing out the Red Hill rail trail, we had our bikes so we decided to head over here and ride this trail too! We picked this one up along the way! Thanks for the cache and keeping this series alive BorisB&Natasha.

I wasn't even going to pick up the piglet ones on this side as I thought ….. I don't have the other codes which were from the Bay Trial (which I assumed wrongly) . We had people fast approaching and I quickly read who was now looking after the cache. I said to my husband …. Oh I must get this one I love these guys …. I like LOVE them. So we were able to get the hide, sit for awhile admire the surroundings as the other walkers passed us and then it was rehidden. We took a photo, which Im great at. I'm just terrible in recording them and leaving a not about it on the cache page for myself. I was also thrilled to see the hidden date I need 2006 caches I only have 3/12. Unfortunately this was one of the 3 I already had. We will be back another time to finish what we started.
It was a nice quick find and a perfect day for a nice long walk thanks for the cache

We had come to this area today for a gentle walk, to do some photography, and to do some caching of course. This would be a difficult grab if lots of people were around. No such issues though today. I was glad I didn't try on the way back to the car, as a photographer was stood on top of GZ taking pictures of the circling eagles. TFTC
Easy find as I made my way along this well constructed path. SL Left swaps. TN TFTC!
Second find of the day with companions who aren't so keen on caching, but accept me picking up a few along the way. Clue inside recorded. I plan to be back to do the rest of the caches another time. TFTC.
We were out enjoying a snugglebunnies series when we stumbled on an unexpected Piglet’s Puzzler cache. Such a Lovely sunny and calm day to walk along this trail. Another of piglets clues collected , cache in good condition. Thanks for the well hidden cache.
A yucky and rainy day but Spiffy- and I still decided to have a cache with the promise of a clearing afternoon that never happened. A couple of series and some freestyling was the plan to get me to my 4000th find.
On the way out the rain was really coming down and some poor bloke had ran out of petrol so we gave him a lift. Then later on the freeway a ute was on its side in the middle of the roads. It had just happened and lots hsd stopped to help the guy out of his car... he seemed stunned but okay and was popping his head out if his car like a beaver on a golf course.
So with all the drama sorted we made our way to the cache. This was another clue we needed and a nice walk out but very windy and rainy coming back.
Thanks to BorisB&Natasha (Adopted from piglet*) for placing this cache.

Even with the rubbish weather this weekend Fleabag- was keen to get his 4,000th cache so we packed the umbrella's for a tour of the mornington peninsula this afternoon using the Piglet's puzzles as a rough guide to time his milestone
with the finding of the final with 18 caches needed.
We headed off down the Monash freeway and I was not concentrating and clearly neither was Fleabag- as he took the wrong turn and then immediately picked up a hitchhiker caught in the rain who had run out of petrol and also had no mobile
phone to make any calls. Luckily he wasn't a serial killer and we dropped him off at the next exit while we made a u-turn and headed back in the right direction.
A bit further down the road cars were everywhere up ahead and as we slowed down a 4WD had flipped on it's side and people were helping the guy get out. With the dozen or so cars already helping we moved on. No other major incidents for the day except on the way home when what looked like a lot of water spray off the freeway was actually someone's cooling system exploding. Never seen so much steam and really unlucky to overheat when it was only 14 degrees.
Despite the constant showers and strong winds our umbrellas held up and we achieved our goal.
It was a nice walk along this boardwalk, a lot of trouble and time it would have taken to build all this through these wetlands!
Thanks BorisB&Natasha (Adopted from piglet*) for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

After attending the event this morning in Cranbourne I decided to join SteMicMitSar in completing a few of the letterbox caches and then onto the Nemo and Dory series picking this one up along the way. This was one of those locations that until today I had neither known about nor visited. It took a little longer to locate this one. Picked up a trackable to move along.

Searched high and low for this cache to no avail. Was going to give up and move onto the next in series when I thought just one more quick look. Turned around and there it was! TFTC
All alone on the marshland walk and after I logged the visit on the platform, a jogger is approaching quite slowly. So I enjoyed the sun for a small while before I brought the cache back to its home.
Lots of seating to sort myself and do the business once the Muggle runner ran off. Good to get another in this series. The numbers are creeping up. I've found them all over the place.
