Flood waters too high to access, will definitely be back. Beautiful scenery!

Finally got this one crossed off. My friend & I have been here a couple of times but I don't think the cache was there then as today we wandered down from above with our dogs, who went for a swim, brrrr!!!! and found it no problem. We had looked in that spot previously. Had to be careful as the slopes were a little slippery from the rain but all good, returned to safety, safely. TFTC kggy

Out for an afternoon walk between 'feasts'. The GPS zeroed in on the cache nicely. TFTC.

02-Dec-15
Found this cache second time around. Went back with CherryRose and she spied it as we got out of the car. Some one had obviously taken it back to the car to sign the log and left it under the tree fully exposed. We took it back to it's hide. TFTC SL took both trackables.

02-Dec-15
Found it with BearyOrganised who couldn't find it 2 days earlier as I got out of car it was sitting exposed under a tree beside the road at top of walkway. We took both TB's and then returned it to it's Hide. TFTC SL

Searched and searched but didn't find anything. Is it still there?

What a beautiful place. I thoroughly enjoyed the location and the hide - definitely worth a fav point.

I Dropped in a couple of TBs.

Started to rain not long after I started looking but was not going to leave without a good search.
Used a PAF line but eventually decided to err on the side of safety and leave.
I'll be back when it's a lot drier.
Thanks for the hunt kggy

We had another go at this one today, after spending an hour or so at it on Saturday. We studied the logs and the pics and figured we were in the spot but alas, nothing. This one is so close to home and yet so far!! Can someone who has found it and lives nearby please check if it is still there. Or come and watch us hunt and tell us if we are getting colder or hotter!

27-Jun-15
Had another go at this one. Third time. We took the co-ords from the log posted. Looked at the photos dilligently. Studied the logs. Still nothing. We thought we had the right rock crevice but still stumped. Has become our nemesis cache. Must find it. Will be back.

08-Jun-15
Seems we didn't look long enough. Mrs Frog was worried about getting to theatre peeps.
It's down here somewhere... will return!

11-Apr-15
Frustrated again with JF & the geodogs. Second visit here. Spent an hour searching high & low. The dried watsonia & blackberry bushes have taken over a bit. Geodogs had a lovely swim though. We will be back.

What a lovely spot. Would not have known about of not for caching. Found with3LG a fafavourite point.

Today we celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary so the goal was to find 29 caches, we set of towards Mt Lofty area to do a few caches through there and surrounding areas, the weather was perfect today, we grabbed earthlight on the way and we all had a great day caching, we did manage 29 caches and we weren't rushing as there was no problems if we didn't find that many, reading the logs it seems some struggle with this one, once i got within 5 metres of GZ i put the GPS in my pocket and had the cache within a couple of minutes, some thing just don't belong, look for what is slightly out of place, this is my type of hide, climbing all over the rocks checking out different things, down near the waters edge there was a skink sun baking, i think its a bronze water skink, quite a big skink but i have seen bigger ones, great cache in a great location, Fave point for this one. TFTC

Wow what a tricky one. The photos helped us a lot. We found it after about 40 mins

Overgrown and lots of brambles, might try again in the warmer months!

Thank you

My new GPS has pre loaded caches in it so off I went to find this one. I couldn't find it and thought I would log so but when I got home I found that I had already done this cache in 2006! Must clean out the new GPS of the preloaded caches and suspect that this one has gone.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys

i look everywhere but nothing lovely show me beautiful river and when i walk pass its funny scarecrow there ...

27-Mar-14
Does anyone have a clue for me?

23-Mar-14
This one has been a difficult find for us Razz, GPS location is a good 10-15 metres off. And the initial location where would think it is is also wrong Razz After a bit of climbing and a couple of visits later (kept getting interrupted by muggles) Managed to find it with Lou Very Happy

23-Mar-14
Found with Manda7May 23/3/14...a very clever hide. I-Phone app still showed us as 9M from Cache. Best Clue was photo 15.

23-Mar-14
Found with Clulesss
23/3/14
9 metres south of where GPS said it should be. Left happy flower.
Stunning eye delights.
Worth a fav for the fun and scramble and search. Ta!

09-Mar-14
Finally found it! Very well hidden, clues from others really helped. It was right next to where we'd been looking [:-) ]

Shame...looked all over but didn't find it this time. Will go back at some stage and try again.

19-Jan-14
Oh man, what a great cache! Found with popolollie and friends on the way to Hahndorf. I think we almost gave up on this one, especially when one friend seemed a bit annoyed after being bitten by an inch ant. Popo was determined however and managed to climb up to the spot where the cache was. I don't think I ever would have found it myself. Brilliant location, I recommend!

19-Jan-14
Found with Rineth Windevere and friends on our Stirling-to-Harndorf cache hunt. This proved to be quite difficult to find with some very tricky camouflage. Found it eventually after much scrambling. Tftc.

Coords were way off for us!! A good 10m. Anyway after lots of scouting & climbing we had very clever cache in hand before long. Lovely water hole and the kids loved hearing the kookaburras! T tb L helicopter. Tftc Smile edited to add - loved this one so much we have it a fave point!

Wahoo!!! Just found it after a bit of a search. Took us awhile, gave up then came back. Wasn't where we expected, the clues helped, thanks all. It's worth the search, very clever hideout and camo. Worth checking out just to spend time at waterhole. Left behind a US quarter of California.

03-Jan-14
Found it! My fellow GCer NotsoFaast said, "Sneaky F###er!" Sums it up very well! This is a tough find. The coordinates for us put us about 6m from the cache, and three of us spent 25 mins scouring the place to try and find it. A clue from a previous finder, that it was near where a young couple was sitting, was very helpful. After thinking about nice spots to sit and look out over the waterhole, we eventually found it. Very clever, great cache kggy.
If you're getting desperate, I'm uploading a photograph of the waterhole, taken from the point from where I wish we had started out search!

25-Aug-13
DNF today, but I will return after a bit of research.

11-Aug-13
Out with Honeysucker for a short day of caching and for once, I was home by 5.30pm Wink
Managed to locus cache 16 smileys Smile so it was a good day!

GPSr had GZ about 8m away but after PAF, it turned out I was only about 1m from the cache..well, 1m out which also meant 1m down!
So glad I took my hiking poles in with me for this one or we may have had a DNF!
Clever camo, just like other finders said, however the stump was not as big as I expected or had been looking for Twisted

TNLN. SL. TFTC kggy Smile

11-Aug-13
Coords had a way from here so it took a while to find Locus finding the right spot

05-Aug-13
Third time lucky and this time I found the sneaky devil.
The 'stump' had literally stumped me.
Best natural camo I have come across yet!
The photo & the correct coordinates (thanks Bristal5)
Helped snag the cache, with the right direction.
This deserves a fav point for best camo, best spot and for plain driving me crazy.
Cheers kggy

looking in easy looking and not hard to find if you dont think about it to much

After giving the obvious stump a good search I looked elsewhere and soon found the cache...

Hello from America! We found it but it wasn't where we expected it. Nice cameo.

15-Apr-13
TFTC ... Great spot!!!

Cache not quite at GZ... Hint useful... Photo's even more so.

05-Mar-13
GPSr was jumping all over the place to awhile to locate GZ. After a while decided to move down for a different perspective and spotted a likely hide. After a quick accent the cache was in hand after. After the sign I proceeded to continue up back to the path! TFTC kggy!

10-Feb-13
Well hidden.took us ten minutes to spot. And the pens don't want to work.excellent cache.

28-Jan-13
We were visiting friends in nearby Orontes Ave, and I had a blank in my calender for today, so after lunch I suggested we walk it off and go for a walk to this cache.
Friends know about caching and were happy to take the dog for a walk too.
I had read earlier logs so knew it wouldn't be easy.
iPhone had me too high to start with, then I remembered someone mentioning the photo in one of the logs so tried to bring that up, only to find that Vodafone doesn't have great coverage in this area - and I hadn't brought my Telstra mobile broadband modem.
A fair bit of up and down the rocks until I recognised a good angle from the photo I had looked at earlier on.
Looked in the most obvious places, then something caught my eye ... Yes!
Good camo, clever.

Damn it, even with improved coordinates I was still wondering around confused.
After a good 40 minutes huffing and puffing I decided to call it a day.
Cheers kggy for the hunt

14-Jan-13
Second try to find this one.
GPS not much help. Jumping around a lot
Tried plugging in Team Unicycles Coords into my Garmin Watch but that had me heading 27km the opposite way.
Eventually found it using geokashexplorer's trackable photo as a reference.
Great hide. I bit further down the rock face than we were initially trying.

At last! Smile Have tried this a couple of times in the past. The last a few days ago where I spent about an hour searching every rock and stump without success. Then I went caching with a previous finder who advised that it was not at listed coords when he found it but elsewhere. Having spent an hour I had a mental picture of every rock and tree with 10 metres. As soon as he described it I knew I had stook on GZ but discounted it when compass said I was too far away for comfort. So back I went and to the rock I thought it would be and sure enough the clue made perfect sense. Had cache in hand in a couple of seconds. Good camo too. gets a fav for the effort and adventure I have had finding it. In two minds whether I put a spoiler with my coords. Big Grin Thanks kggy.

I now understand why this one was causing so much trouble. Great camo and lovely spot. Live in area but never knew it was here. Dropped in a trackable who loves cold wet spots. Although not cold today. Thanks for the hunt and cache. A favourite.

16-Nov-12
Dropped Trackable.

24-Oct-12
The GPS had me going around and around, got as close as 3 metres.
Found the rock & crevice but no tree stump!
Was being watched by a couple of teenagers, but they soon lost interest and decided to go for a swim.
Decided to call it a day as their mates joined them by the rocks.
Found some other interesting items though.
Will be back, hopefully its still here.

18-Aug-12
Out on a rainy wet caching day out with Task Master Jr. This is now our second visit and still no cigar. Will come back again on a clearer day.

10-Aug-12
I spent about half an hour looking but it was hard due to a large amount of rain recently making it hard to access. Was in a bit of a rush and we had to pick my sister up from her piano lesson. I will have to go back some time. I personally love the waterhole. I live near by and go swimming there wiht my sister and friends during the summer. Lovely spot to put a cache but also a difficult one as during summer there would be way to many muggles and during winter it is too wet and slippery.

We went to have a look for this one at the end of a day's hiking the Heyson trail. We loved this hidden gem of a spot. With all the recent rain, the cascade was a torrent. There was a surprising number procession of muggles even on a cool & damp winter's day. We had quite a good look for the cache, clambering around the steep & slippery rocks above the creek. Frustratingly, with sunset approaching and no cache in hand, we had to call it quits & head for home.

16-Jun-12
Could not get a good look for this one, way too many muggles and dogs but a lovely place for a walk

11-Jun-12
second visit for this one & success this time. we found the item.... it had become estranged from its hiding hole, put back where we think it should go - great camo. TFTC what a great view. less water in the creek from last time we came when it was a torrent!!!

04-Jun-12
wow what a fantastic place for a hide. loads of water in the creek today and the hole/cave was swirling well. we didn't find the cache but what the hell, it was still worth the visit & we will be back....

05-May-12
Found it 5 minutes ago, after about 40 minutes of searching! What a tough one, but have to give praise for the hide! As this is the closest hide to my house there was no way I was giving up, even after the mini cachers had long since lost interest. Now I know where it is they will be able to keep an eye on it, as they are often down at the creek. Great place and we are really enjoying staying here. TNLNSL. Smile

12-Mar-12
The thing I most enjoy about geocaching is discovering all these little hidden gems right under your nose (locations moreso but the caches too) but never before knew about/had visited. Beautiful spot, will have to drop back with the bathers some day. Plenty of hiking muggles along the track, but it's an apt spot to stop and admire the scenery without looking too suspicious. Enjoyed the hide and the camo. TFTC!

04-Mar-12
Found at 18:14 after a long search. A young couple sitting nearby stopped us looking in the right spot, but as they were paying us no attention we looked there in the end. Olga thinks the hint was a touch misleading, though it was certainly the clue which allowed my to find the cache.

You might try looking at S35 00.805 E138 45.822.

A very pleasant walk to this one and then the fun began, we crossed the rocky creek, we climbed the slippery rocks, we looked here, there, everywhere. Oh lets go, we can add our names to the DNF list. But as nearly always happens when you have the one last look after you start to walk away the cache magically appears. Loved the hide on this one. SL TFTC

A lovely walk. A nightmare to find. We nearly walked away. There it was we signed and got out of there. Thanks for the cache kggy

18-Nov-11
wow, what a lovely place this area is, I had a good look around but nothing, so after 45mins i phoned a friend to see if he could remember where it is but nothing again as it had been some time since he was here last. well after 5more mins and ready to call it quick but some so not knowing when to quit i thought of having another little look around. as i went to walk/step some where not expecting to look where my foot was but to look just below the ???? / drop and there is actually was. what a place and a very good hide with very good camo. well done and tftc.

Enjoy.....

08-Oct-11
Found while out on a great caching day with lots of other cachers.
Thanks

Our second attempt finally got it! Aussie M&M and I spent 45 minutes looking a few months ago and decided to come back with more searchers. We spent another 30 minutes searching until Aussie Mark turned up and found it within a few minutes. Our GPS readings were changing constantly, and GZ was eventually quite a way away from where we were looking. A clever hide in a lovely location. TFTC

08-Oct-11
A quick cache run today with AussieM&M, Mogni, and Team707 with this cache being our main target!!! Took quite a while until Mark from M&M got it!!! Thanks kggy for the hide ... a definite favourite!!

08-Oct-11
Second attempt at this for Team707 and Aussie Mary, after another good look, the rest of Aussie M & M turned up with Mogni. Mark looked around for a stump, we were stumped as he lifted up the cache. Glad for that extra pair of eyes. Great hide. Thanks for the hide.

05-Jun-11
Fantastic little spot here! It took a while to find as the GPS was jumping around like crazy because it was a very cloudy day. Was about to give up when I thought of where I would hide one if I had to place a cache here. The first place I looked was where the cache was. Great effort in this one. TNLN. Cheers.

Great location.
We looked evereywhere ofr about one hour. No luck. Still have no idea where I could have missed it. Help!

31-Mar-11
Found while in Adelaide on a short stopover after our holiday in Tasmania. This took us quite a while to locate, in fact we had decided to give up but Mr AusTrackers was taking his time so I continued to look around where I was standing and as luck would have it I saw it. Thanks for showing us this place.

Great hide and a great diversion whilst the tennis was just getting started. Couldn't get the pen to work and didn't have a replacement with me. TNLN. Thanks. Smile

19-Feb-11
Yay found this one on the second visit. A great hide and does take a bit of searching with the poor lock at GZ. Lived nearby for many years - but didn't know about this swimming hole.

*Recommended* for being a hidden treasure in Bridgewater. SL. TFTC.

26-Dec-10
Could not locate the cache. But the area has had a fair water flow recently.

12-Dec-10
Sad today was the 3rd time i have looked for the cache it is hard to get good signal on the gps because of all the rocks and trees around.

could any one give me some hints or clues or even better tell me where it is [?]

Came here a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't search due to some locals using the facility Razz. All was quiet this morning.
Took a long time to find, GPS wouldn't settle at all Red Face.
Took badge. Left badge. SL.
Thanks kggy.
