Caches like this are so difficult for me when the vertigo sets in and I get nauseous from the up and down searching. However I eventually spotted it. It was not what I thought it would be and was instead much, much larger. Wow I had totally psyched myself out of this one! Nice hide!Thank you Rebel Acts for the cache.
This is my old stomping ground. I completed my degree here, traveling all the way from the northern suburbs to study here. Needless to say I showed up a lot less often as I was supposed to, and I still wonder how I made it through sometimes.I was thankful for it being a quiet afternoon on the weekend as I can imagine this area would be loaded with muggles during the week. After wandering around the student union building and passing my old haunt at the Menzies building, I returned to grab this cache. Although all eyes were watching, I managed to make a quick find and was on my way.A big thanks goes to Rebel Acts for taking the time to add Is the NUTty Professor Here? to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! Now how did we miss that the first time? We had the right altitude but had in our head that it was an eclipse. Back to geocaching school for us! Took the TB for some adventures. Thanks for keeping this one in play for so long. TFTC.
Once I was at the correct elevation, I spotted this one on approach. I was worried I was going to drop it when retrieving! Nice to find a golden oldie.
Hosting a confectionery workshop here at Monash University. Everybody is busy making gummy bears and I found the perfect moment to sneak out and find this geocacheTFTC.
2nd find for the day. Inadvertently walked right past the cache, but then found it after backtracking. There's a security camera pointing right at GZ which makes one wonder if the cache owner is part of security staff.Easy find. TFTC
Out at the university this evening for the Civil School Awards night and saw this cache close to where I'd parked so of course my evening ended with a brief cache hunt. The big container was easily spotted fortunately as it's dark and cold tonight! TFTC
Found could not give up as too embarrassed to DNF third time, cache seems way too obvious after spotting it!
Disabling, hopefully I can get there in a couple of weeks and see if the works are finished.
Came back for a 2nd attempt... but still a DNF Top floor is blocked, might be relevant?
Found embarrassingly slowly and looked a bit strange loitering around at the cache location, but soon enough expanded my search area and found it. TFTC!
With the day's 'required' caching done (maintaining a 28-day streak for a souvenir) with 2 TDOC23 FTFs near home in the morning, we headed south-east for some leisurely strolls in the afternoon.
We stopped in the area for the Westgate Bridge virtual waypoint when we noticed this older GC6 which we couldn't resist. Nutty is testing the height limits of the parking levels with under 2cm to spare above the roof, and nutty is retrieving and replacing the cache under the watchful eye of the security cameras !
I wonder how this cache and GZ have changed over the last 17 years, if at all.
Thanks, dak's Emu Mob & Rebel Acts.

This was the closest unfound trad and today was the day to make the find .. I parked in a nearby street with only 1/2 hour parking so it had to be a quick find .. lucky for me it was .. I guessed the right level and hands were soon on the cache. Thanks Rebel Acts for keeping this one going.
Up and down I went a few times, trying to blend in with the uni crowd. At one stage while standing at the bottom I saw someone finally do it... they ran into the lights overhead that let you know if a car park is empty and dragged it halfway down the road! It was crazy to see and by the time I had found and signed the log the maintenance crew was already there fixing it, what efficiency!
Thanks for a fun cache, I'm glad it is the size it is otherwise this would've taken even longer!

A reasonably quick find whilst I have my first lengthy visit to “The Farm” since I left in the early 70’s. This building was nothing like existed then, back in the day when no Arts student had any reason to come down to the Engineering area (except as a long walk to the Nott.) I’m particularly interested in looking at the growth of the native vegetation. The trees are magnificent in their maturity now, which is as always one of the strengths of this campus. TFTC TNLN but old memories.
Great find on a time crunch - was lucky with a time with very few muggles around - only took a couple of attempts to retrieve the cache. TFTC!
We knew we were at the wrong elevation when we were right on gz and couldn't find anything.. So up we went!! Walked right past it, and were so amazed when we backtracked and saw how well it tucks away!! A fav point from us
Took a stab and it paid off immediately. Great cache and on the weekend nobody around except learner drivers.
Found with PapaGrouch. I have decided to target older caches to fill my Ausmer grid and this one was chosen as we could pop up here while visiting my mum. After reading previous logs I was confident of the elevation, and being a Saturday and a semester break as well we had the area to ourselves. I spotted the cache fairly quickly but couldn't quite retrieve it so PapaGrouch's longer arms were used. Stamped log and replaced container as found. TFTC
This was a nice quick and easy find on a quiet day during semester break. Although I know this carpark quite well so that probably worked to my advantage. Either way great hiding spot, really enjoyed finding this one!

Looked for it on a Sunday so it was really empty, still felt a little awkward searching around in front of the security cameras . Thank you!!
Took a little bit to find it, the correct elevation helps. Assisted by 2 muggles: Michael & Finlay
Monash is just full of great ones, hey? Had to check a couple floors before finding it but got there in the end. Pen inside the cache is either out of ink or all dried up, luckily I had my own on me but didn't have a spare to leave behind :/

This was so much harder than a D1.5. There were muggles everywhere! Once I located the cache I had to wait for people to move away before I could return the cache to its hiding spot. Thank you Rebel Acts for placing and maintaining Is the NUTty Professor Here? for us to find today.
Find # 1119.

Aggrhhh.. this one did drive me nutty!! When security came up to ask me if I needed assistance, I knew it was time to bow out. Will have to return another day
Monash O week 2022! Grabbed this cache before a campus tour, a bit of caching is a great way to familiarise myself with the campus!
This one wasn’t quite as easy as I first thought it might be… read some past logs and figured out which level I should be looking on. Luckily no muggles around this morning! Started looking in the wrong areas and then realised a more obvious spot. A challenge was also getting the cache out without dropping it! However I managed to and signed then replaced without any issues. TFTC!

Out for a few hours of caching on a Sunday morning.
Great to have some new caches on my local map, and the weather was absolutely perfect for cache hunting.
The coords where absolutely spot on, found in a few seconds.
Cheers Rebel Acts for maintaining such a historic cache.

So many possibilities here. I went with my gut instinct and found the cache fairly quickly, in an excellent hiding place. Nice one.
We started our search at the wrong altitude. When we got to the right area, it still took a bit of finding but we got there in the end.
Thanks Rebel Acts for keeping this cache going and giving us a reason to visit this impressive establishment.
Chiefton!!!

that would require a heap o' stealth were it not for lockdown!
the swag was looking sad, so i put in a nice little angry birds change pouch.
thanx for a nice little nearby cache. i needed a bit of a walk.

I have tried this cache many times and failed (mostly because of feeling awkward about lurking around on the staircase for too long). So I guess there is at least one positive aspect about lockdown you can just take your sweet time looking without looking like a nutty professor.
Attempted this well over 10 years ago but failed today we come up trumps with whole lot of Rosie
Ohhh myyy I almost gave up but was so excited to finally find that one - a really good hide tho nothing much left in the container - I added a small thing
uhhhh... lol I found it. Good spot, pen doesn’t work so I carved my name in ! TFTC
TFTC! Took a little bit and maybe a lot. But the other half of the team had the right idea when they arrived later and found it within minutes.
Glad we found it in the end.
Glad we found it in the end.
Found it! Yah!! Had given up looking previously as there were too many Muggles about! No one today but I’m sure someone was watching! Third place I looked. Note to self: Must stop sticking my hand where I can’t see what is there first!! TFTC SL It was great to walk around the Uni today with my Walkabouter friends!!
Found. It took awhile but was here on a Saturday night so no one was around. TFTC
Came back for another look, and checked all the photos and there is one which helps a lot. I had to jump the orange barrier to get there though having not done so earlier. There’s a bit of work going on but once finished the cache will still be in a safe accessible spot.

Went up and down a few levels. Should have been easier than what I made it. To come back. Out of practice!
Out caching now we can go 25kms, I travelled here to find the NUTty Professor and the ‘Wonder - Taj Mahal’
A great place, with very few people about.
Logged with permission of the CO. Thanks Rebel Acts

Found this cache finally!! Also dropped off a trackable from a cache I walked past earlier today
Could not find and not really sure on the level. Guessing top level and checked all obvious areas but no cache
After a DNF I needed this one to be quick to make it from the hospital where 6 y/o has his tonsils and adenoids out, to the 8y/o’s tennis lesson. Thankfully the trusty nanton34 was the PAF I needed in this moment who guided me in the right direction, allowing a quick park and find. tftc
I was visiting from the US and wanted to mark a find during my visit here. After two attempts came up blank I resorted to PAF for assistance. I am grateful for the assistance I received so that I could get the smiley. TFTC!!!
When darting between Monash and Mt Wav, a detour on a Saturday arvo is a good time to ferret around without looking too weird or suspicious. Figured the level and headed off - quick find too. Enjoyed wandering the campus and some eye catching architecture TFTC
2nd find today after watching my husband's playing darts nearby, been searching for this one for while. Yayyy found it, so happy to sign the log. Fortunately no muggles around. Thanks dak's Emu Mob & Rebel Acts for placing this cache.
Went there in early morning before head to Darts Venue which we will have National Deaf Darts start today Kangas11 and I agreed to go in early before too many muggles.
Found your cache today. dak's Emu Mob(Adopted by Rebel Acts), thanks for placing it.

Perfect timing to visit this university with crank1 during their holidays break. Came here in an early morning before we head to the darts event for the day. Found it. Good spot! Thanks dak’s Emu Mob ( adopted by Rebels Acts) for placing this cache
Found with Let Them Eat Cache (which will now be our joint geocaching name once I retire this membership). She wanted to get some coords for another multi that honours Dak's Emu Mob; thanks Rebel Acts for looking after this sneaky one.
{205} We were in the area doing an initial WP grab for our forthcoming drive to Adelaide in the New Year, so thought we'd clear the other 2 caches at Monash. Loved the back story to this one; wish I could've met DAK as he certainly sounded like one interesting dude. Cache finding skills are improving, as we were on top of this one pretty quickly. Signed log & returned before any muggles or muggly-security folk got suspicious. Thanks Rebel Acts for adopting & caring for this sneaky hide.
So many elevation options to choose from. Had to do a few stair laps to finally hone in on the cache. Didn't drop it luckily....

Found it when taking a walk after dinner with my sister and brother in law. I dropped the container down to the ground floor when I grabbed it. Then took the stairs to ground floor to pick it up and took the lift to 4th floor to put it back. TFTC
With geo kids 1 & 2 here on our 2nd day of the junior indoor hockey championships being held in the nearby Monash Sport Hall.
A very tiring 2 days but I had an opportunity today in the long break between games to go for a quick walk approx. 600 metres to the GZ. Along the way I took in all the different sights and sounds. Beautiful gardens to admire with gorgeous sea of flowering lavender and a variety of cottage flowers and a plethora of bird life.
Now arriving at the GZ I knew I had a task ahead of me. So many possibilities. I had an idea of where to look but after 30 mins of no luck and needing to get back to the hall soon, I resorted to a PAF for a nudge in the right direction. I was actually in the right area but just missed a tricky sneaky spot where the cache was hiding. There sure was a gazillion security cameras around and it felt like they were all watching me. Well I hope they got a good laugh watching me look here, there and everywhere. I got lucky with no muggles around. A very quiet area on this Sunday afternoon.
Walking back to the hall I stopped by to have a read of the info board on the collapse of the West Gate Bridge and next to it was some of the recovered faulty broken steel girders from the actual bridge.
Thank you for bringing me here dak’s Emu Mob (Adopted by Rebel Acts)

I can’t believe I have spent years here and never knew there was a GC nearby!
Thanks for the great story and history!
Strange coming back to the Uni car park and walking up and down the stairs, trying not to look suspicious! This was a hard to see hide and the clue was helpful, especially with jumping GPS undercover. Once we narrowed down the spot, just had to get our step count up and feel our way...

Here for Open Day 2019. Despite the business, still easy to search. Used the photos to refine the search but out of luck today.
Of all days I picked it was an open day at Monash.
I thought Sunday's would be quiet, well not 2day.
So in between muggles here and there I looked.
Another cacher had already been here today with no joy.
I was about to throw in the towel, when I just happened to look from the right angle.
Bingo I was soon signing the log.
