Geocache has been tampered with and moved. Spoke with volunteer firies who had handed cache over to police as it had condoms with suspicious substance in it. Owner please speak with firies to sort a new cache
Find Number 723, found at 15:04
The main focus of today was the event to celebrate J&J's 10,000 cache finds. As a sideline, I decided to try and beat my previous personal best of 10 different D/T combinations in a day. So, armed with a list of caches with unique D/T combinations, I set off. At the event I was joined by GeoSon NationalSteel who had found almost all of my target caches. He was able to advise which ones to tackle and which to leave for another day.
13th find and 11th D/T combination for the day. We found the container, but it was empty. No log of any kind. We took a photo if the CO needs evidence. We added a scrap of paper as a temporary replacement, signed that and replaced the container as found.
Thanks cheekyfrogs for the cache.

Had us guessing at first!! But we soon worked it out and had our hands on the prize!!! Excellent lil cache that one
Dad brought us down here to find the which is the 2nd closest to home. After a couple of muggles left we quickly had this one in hand, well Dad did the hard work.
Thanks
Thanks
I had to drive a long way for this one in order to fill in the blank spots in my d/t grid.
Interesting container.
Interesting container.
One of the best I've done so far! Awesome hide and the additional waterfall waypoint was amazing. Thanks heaps!!
Nicely constructed. Fire station would be a great place to live - what a view! TFTC.
Out today with Krafty Charlie,Gribbly & Muggle for a caching day.

Quick find, nice work on the camo. Stunning location - surely this has some of the best views of any RFS shed in the state! TFTC.

Found it with Auzzieboy1125 and Auzziedad1125. It was pretty easy because i have done similar caches which is hidden the same. Auzziedad1125 found the cache. Tftc
TFTC,
Down at the Gong and had nothing loaded in the GPS'r. This was the nearest so time to take a short trip SW. Visited a group of trackables helping to keep my continuous days going. Almost over the hump, about 102 days to go in my attempt to get 366 days including the 29.02 in the streak.

A quick find for us, we found a cache with a similar tricky hiding method recently which helped, TFTC!

For us this was avery quick find - the coordinates are spot on! We have to come back to see the waterfalls!! TFTC!
Found it straight away. Great cache. I used to play on these tracks as a kid. Brought back some memories. There was a white tail spider living inside so I tapped it out and sent it to find a new home. TFTC.

Mission successful.
This was a relatively easy cache. This may have been due to more experience. It was really well hidden too.

5th on our Wollongong trip. Came with our friends to this one. We walked right past this one when we got there, but still a great hide. Nice area. TFTC cheekyfrogs!
Found about 10.30pm after dinner at a friend’s place around the corner and en-route to the 11/11/11 event. Had parked in such a way to provide a light source however, distracted by my search, scared the bejesus out of myself when I heard a train approaching and looked up straight into my car headlights thinking it was the train! Once it passed, my night vision returned and heart had stopped racing, made a quick find in the first option I touched.
3 from 3 for us this day! Clever hide. I grew up here too. we used to camp on the site in my youth way, way before any buildings were there. Geokid and I took a walk down to the top waterfall. There used to be a track to the lower fall but we didn't have time to go down there. Great memories. SL. TFTC
The hint was a dead give away, walked straight up to it. The RFS headquarters gate was open, but there was no need to go inside. Thanks cheekyfrogs.
My youngest found this one. She was very excited. Ballet and a cache, all in the same day! Lol SL TFTC
Great cache! found it & then went exploring the waterfall, what a great place! Thanks for bring us here SL, TFTC
Nice quick find late in the arvo. will check out the falls another day.

found it quickly signed log and then took the short walk to the waterfall...very beautiful. yet another part of wollongong we never knew existed. thankyou for bringing us here. tftc
I was at the RFS this evening and found this one quite easily. Thanks for the hide!
Found while my geodaughter was at a piano lesson nearby. A very sneaky hide indeed. Signed the temporary log inside and thanks for the cache.
Found cache fairly quickly, then a young local came around and I asked him which way to the waterfall, "I'll take you" so we got escorted to waterfall, glad we went, amazing what you find in the middle of suburbia. TFTC
Great spot, the view would have been amazing but we didn't want to trespass. So cold! Thanks.
Had this straight to hand - although I was tempted by the big structural bolts nearby. Let the Geokid replace as long as he was 'discrete' - dont think doing a happydance as he retreated counted - nice hide TFTC
Enjoyed the view and the cryptic clue. Very nice hide. Signed temporary log, nice and dry. TFTC
Quick find for Care Bear and I. Guess after caches have been around a while, you can glean more than enough from the logs. Not that I am complaining! I need all the help I can get. This is a fun cache with an excellent view from the fire station. Plus Care Bear also got to see a train going past GZ.
I took the liberty of putting a temporary log into this cache. I will replace with an official log ASAP. The old log was certainly full and given the owner hasn't logged into geocaching.com for more than 18 months, I'm not thinking he is going to change it anytime. I will scan in the old logs in due course and post a link to them.

Despite leaving my cap on I was able to find this cleverly hidden cache. Didn't dare unroll the log sheet so signed on a spare bit of space on the outside. Had thought of having a look at the view near the station but someone's dog took exception to my presence so jumped in the UAV & left. Thanks cheekyfrogs.
As I saw a hide like this before it was a easy and quick find at 8.52 today. Nice hide anyway.
The logbook is full and needs replacement!

Drove right next to it and found quickly. As others have said the log book is really full and needs replacing. Thanks for the cache.

My bush wasnt on fire, the rain saw to that! This cache has a nice location.
Thanks for the cache

Little Buds seems to have a knack for finding these sorts of caches and he easily found it after I walked right past the jolly thing. Thanks for taking us to an interesting spot. Perhaps we will return sometime to check out the waterfall but today wasn't the day for it - too cold and wet. TFTC
I found this cache easily, for some reason I just knew where to look. Found with SuperJaz, Bewilderbeest, and Ultra Violet Z. on the Wollongong Invasion weekend.
Thank you thank you!!!
Thank you thank you!!!
Found with Secretsquirrel-BJC on the Wollongong Invasion. This was a fantastic weekend of fun and sun, meeting the locals, and chasing excellent caches.
Didn't have to search too long for this one. SS said hi to the local mutt while I did the cache log.

This is a great spot with wonderful views. The cache is also very well camoflaged. However, while the rest of us weer wondering where it might by, Little Buds just walked straight up to it and went 'found it'!
We didnt visit the waterfall, we had seen enough water falling - from the sky.
Thanks cheekyfrog for a very well done cache.

After cleverly convincing McPhans GPS that it was actually in outer space and having promised it premium batteries as well as a boosted signal if it just pointed the other way for a few minutes. Then again it might have been the directional portable GPS jammer in my pocket or even maybe those pesky electron carrying devices overhead. This allowed me the vital few seconds it took to walk up to it and say here it is, A nice simple classic micro cache.
