I think we found the remnants that f what was a cache. Looks the same as old photos.
We weren't sure where to look in the big area. could be water damaged as others have said.
Hi Day One.
My son and I New Year trip turn into drive into NSW and beyond. Today was more about driving. I found 9 today with few DNF. Oh well they do happen.
The breakdown was a mystery, community event, traditional, multi and adventure lab.
Day Two.
We carry on heading south down Newell highway grabbing more caches. Stopping for old and some new virtual, plus more non traditional for a challenge. Unfortunately some of those prove hard to find.
I had lots of fun doing earthcache they brought us to some wonderful places.
I found 26 today the breakdown was 3 virtual, 3 earthcache, 5 traditional and 3 adventure labs with 15 waypoints.
Day 3
Heading towards Mt Buller
After early start we started grabbing caches along the Newell highway to get more LGA cover.
I found 28 today with a lot of driving. The breakdown is 6 traditional, 9 virtual, (most I found in a day) 2 mystery, earthcache plus 2 adventure lab with 10 waypoints.
Day 4
Back up the mountain to finish of what I started. I was 5 later yesterday to get the photos.
After that I grab more caches around the Mt Buller Village. Plus I found one old traditional, it is in the oldest 5.
With finds total was 12. The breakdown is 5 traditional, 5 virtual, multi and at not least a webcam.(finally).
After we finished on the mountain we started to head to Canberra.
My son and I had lots and fun today.
Day 5 Canberra
Early start today chasing caches for a challenge cache that I need for my next loop. Considering my first caching trip was fly in fly out. This time maybe little bit longer. Still not much longer need to be home in couple of day.
I found 25 today. The breakdown was 16 mystery, 6 virtual, earthcache, wherigo, traditional. Plus couple of DNF.
Leaving day for Canberra to Yass. I had a few kayaking ones on the list but not enough time for all. I DNF 2 but a CO gave permission to log it. I found the wire where the cache was. Then I headed to a event to meet up Canberra caching community. Two of them I knew from Brisbane who have move back here.
I did some caching around the park then headed to Yass to stay the night.
I found 20 today. The breakdown was 10 mystery, 6 traditional, 2 multi, letterbox and a event.
Day 6, Yass
Early start today I was chasing more challenge caches. Some of these were high. Glad I had my ladder. One was to high for it. Maybe next time. I sign 18 Challenge caches, some I qualify for other I don’t. Couple I need only few finds.
Total finds today was 21 the breakdown 11 mystery 7 traditional and 3 virtual. Plus 17 sign logs but don’t qualify for.
And lot of driving closer to home.
Thank you CO for your hides and the maintenance you do. For us to find
Sorry for the generic log.

So, I just had a steroid injection in my heel to sort out the constant pain and stiffness, I was warned 'do not walk on it'. Aquilus1 had just had her 4th covid shot the day before, could not move her arm at all and was in constant pain.
It was raining.
Therefore, we should embark on a caching trip, and thats what we did.
We meandered around the fedral highway to Mittagong before diverting to Kiama in search of a fast car charger that was actually working. Did lots of labs, multiple virtuals and the odd trad we were already driving past.
On the way back really found out how battery draining driving up the escarpment was.....but there was no stress really....still had 2% battery when I plugged in at Sutton Forest. All and all a great little loop.
Log not sign able…shame. With Aquilus1

Out with GreyHams for a weekend of a few caches... the plan was Bowral but we modified along the way and ended up in Woolongong! Worked out well and a number of AL's, Virtuals, Earthcaches and oldies found along the way. Great weather at the coast, scenery was great too and the food from Fishnets take away the very best! Thanks for your cache that helped guide us through the area!
Cool old cache, to keep this alive it really needs some one to replace both the container and log. Wish we had come better prepared to have replaced it.

Found on the ground, will need maintenance. Found under the watchful gaze of a protective magpie with a mouse in its beak.
A nice stop off on my way south to visit family.
It didnt take me long to find this one thanks to the clue putting me in the right general area.
The lid has come off the cache for this one but the log is still good.
I spotted a bird while writing this log that had the weirdest call ive ever heard.
Thanks.

Cache definitely not in its place as a few people have written. Log completely unusable
Found today, however I do not believe it was where it was supposed to be. We were unable to sign the log as it is drenched. The lid for the container is stuck under a rock. Needs maintenance.
Slowly going around finding some of our oldest caches always interesting finding the caches from more than ten to fifteen years ago
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache 4GRKez

Went with a friend and he found it pretty easy just don’t be scared of a bit of height
An impressive structure. Will come back here one day after heavy rain to check it out.
Having previously failed on this one with the geokid today I attempted it on my own with success. Took quite a few minutes to find but the hint made sense and helped me get the CIH.
Thanks for the cache!

After spending the day going after epic T caches, it was really nice to just park and grab one!! We need a 06/06 for our Jasmer so, seeing as I was just around the corner, this one came in very handy ;D
At GZ the cache was quickly found as it was in the open. Congrats on the longevity of this cache - a long defunct M&M can, PINK, and in a muggly spot; who would have thought?! log is dry and has lots of space still. Re-hid in *exactly* the same spot just with better covering. TFTC, 4GRKez.

Great hide! Kids had fun climbing in the area and we finally hit the jackpot with help from the geowifey. Tftc
Out tonight with Mizcupcake on another one of our midnight geoventure. Deciding to come to the area and do th AL while picking up caches on the way. This was our first stop for the night. We parked the geomobile a very short walk away and grabbed our torches. Heading over we got to go and started searching. After some time, we just couldn’t find anything. Looking back through other logs and the hint provided us with more clues and another place to search. Not too long after Mizcupcake popped up with CIH. This was an interesting search as the go marker is off a bit on location, but still close enough I guess. We completed signing duties and replaced. TFTC!
Out with Littl3Vix again on another our after dark raids. We decided to hit up Balgownie tonight for some caches and adventures lab. Our first stop saw us here and after parking nearby, we wandered on over. I made a silly mistake and forgot my torch good thing for smart phones though! Once at GZ we searched around the obvious spots and turned up nothing, but after reading the hint and some logs, we readjusted our search area and soon came up with the cache. Log was dry and cache is in good condition. After signing and returning, we were on our way to the next stop. Thanks for the cache!
OCW the Bebes and Everest High. Once we figured the hint and extended search a little we had CIH. Tftc
It would take quite a flash flood to wet this log. OCW The Bebes and PelDroedGwin. TFTC 4GRKez

Thought I had better log this one quick before the East Coast Low flushes it away this week Great location and fun cache to find. Farmers Friends everywhere ! TFTC !
This was quite the adventure and I’m very grateful for my lateral thinking caching partner aubeasty to be with me today. We walked across the pathway and arrived near GZ and I thought “no, not here”. It was aubeasty who looked at the situation from the right angle and was able to interpret the hint. Just as the drizzle started, we replaced the container back safely and imagined just how bad the 1998 flood was that required such a massive intervention. Well done 4GRKez for the appropriately challenging placement.
Searched for a long time last time, spotted the cache almost instantly this time nice little spot, tftc
Found by Mary and David at 12:25. Very satisfying to find a difficult hide like this one. At our age (early 70s) we tend to consider our bones, joints and eyesight more than we used to when approaching this sort of terrain. Definitely a FP. Our thanks to 4GRKez.
It was very hard to find. My brother stood in front of it for ages and didn’t see it. It took us about 20min. Well worth it.
Found with nissan 65 on a cool winters day. Second time looking for this one soon had CIH. Thanku for the cache.
Arriving near GZ I wondered which way would be the best way to approach. For the second time today the obvious was not the right way, I was soon in front of a bag full of items and worried that there might be someone camping out I backtracked to rethink. I headed off in the opposite direction and was soon at GZ. I started searching high and low with no find, I was just about to give up and return another day when I looked down and spied something pink. Cache signed and returned. TFTC
Geo-sister-in-law, Anamastasia, has a few lined up for us while visiting for the weekend, this one in particular had been waiting.
Straight to the hint given Anamastia's previous experience, lots of different techniques were used and threes calculated. Spurred on by the success of some of my Canberra colleagues we pressed on until perseverance delivered. A good one if you like getting your hands dirty.

To say I'm ecstatic to finally be ticking this one off as FOUND is an understatment. It has been there since learning what "TFTC" meant. This wouldn't be possible without the help of froggycache. What I've tried to achieve here for years, only took the pair of us maybe 20mins on a sunny day! So many "3's" to choose from! Really had to take a look deep down inside myself to keep searching for this pink little unit! TFTC!
I was very lucky to find this one as the GPS was pointing me to the trees, not where it actually was. Well worth the difficulty rating. TFTC

Needing a cache for the day, this was my closest Traditional.... got to GZ, and found very quickly...

14583. Found during Day 2 of a great weekend caching down in the Helensburgh / Wollongong region with specimenX and AngelG27.
A long planned weekend was finally here. Yesterday we finished off the Scouts and Helensburgh puzzle series plus a bunch of other caches. Today we generally moved south during the day grabbing some quality caches along the way. This was the next find for the day. This one took the three of us quite some time searching the object in question - up down left right - and then I spotted the little sucker. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and we were on our way to the next one.
Thanks to all the CO's for their caches - very much appreciated !!

Off we go for another geomission! fitzy_1965, AngelG27 and I were off in the geomover to descend on the Illawarra region to knock off the Helensburgh puzzle series and whatever others we could nab along the way. Sunny spring weather and lots of laughs made for a fun weekend of caching!
Wow this one took us a while! We searched here, there and just about everywhere-3 up, 3 down, 3 across - but where?!! It wasn't until fitzy went down and searched an area we all dismissed that we came up with the find. The tree provides a bit of shade in this sun trap!
Thanks for the hide, 4GRKez

Cache 2907 on 3/9/17
Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX and I headed out on a long planned geomission to Helensburgh and Wollongong to grab a stack of solved puzzles and as-yet-uncollected traditionals. We headed up the highway from the ACT to Appin, then down the hill to Helensburgh and then made our way south. We have around 160 caches on the list, but managed to grab 90 odd yesterday. Looking to grab stacks of trads today on our second day of the mission. Unless otherwise indicated, caches were found quickly and in good order. Thanks to my geo partners in crime for a fun weekend
Super tricky find, but Fitzy got there in the end. 3 does sort of mean something, but not what we thought. Well hidden by various camo!

Not a fan of stepping through vines on the ledge with my dodgy knees but stuck to the hint and came up trumps. Chopsticks would be handy. TFTC.
Took a little while but I got there in the end. When I got back to the car I could barely see my shoes as it was covered in farmers friends so be careful of them. I also forgot to bring a pen (Rookie mistake) so took a photo of the cache as proof.

Took me awhile as there were so many possibilities. But an image and hint had me on the correct level and it was CIH eventually. Good hide. I was thinking of the Pink song "U And Your Hand" as the retrieval required some small digits! TFTC.
Figured out where it was pretty quickly but then making sense of the clue had me choosing different sides and things to count. Eventually found it almost by chance and had a "Ah Ha!" moment TFTC!
Glad for the younger member of the family on this one, my knees will not thank me at all here.

OCWP2015 and a muggle friend of hers. Read the details and the clue and the muggle jumped right in to searching for the cache. Must admit to PAF for this one but we soon had the CIH. Go with your first instinct - its usually right! TFTC
I was thinking PINK and my first 3 didnt work so I tried another 3 and got it.

5# find for the day
Sent the Dave side of Davaura INC to retrieve cache, he found it quite quickly once at the right level.
Coord's were out a bit but following other logs figured out the way to go.
