Thank you! On the way home after spending the weekend in Jurien Bay for IGD. Happy to make the find here, especially given it's an older one.
Found it.
On my way to Cervantes, time to get some more smileys on the map.
The container is broken.

Caching up the Indian Ocean Drive on the way to Geraldton today. We stopped to nab a number of caches and for me, also tick off a number of LGAs.
Drove halfway and then walked the rest. A bit awkward walking along the fence in full sight of the residents. Gla to have this oldie ticked off. Cheers nissan!

Road trip with L1.77 Going to try and clean up some green dots on the map. Heading to Gero to meet up with the motley crew
Thanks to all the cache owners for placing caches along the way. Sorry for the genetic log

Heading up to Geraldton for the weekend and picking up a trio of caches on the way to line me up for a milestone (and a specific cache I want to get for it). This was one that helped me on my way. Pulled off IOD onto the track then headed along to where it intersected with the track to GZ. I say ‘track’ but these days some sections are barely footpath wide. So parked the car at the intersection and walked in from there. A very hot morning but a nice walk nonetheless. A quick find once at GZ, and appreciated the new container that had been left. All ok here today, TFTC
Found it. TFTC Nissan. Nice walk to GZ then quick find. Lucky meme28 left another container. I just looked at the old container n it started to fall apart.
The new container is holding up well! Felt a bit conspicuous as there were people at the property just over the fence!
Heading north for a four day break, I had a few caches on my list to find. As the container shattered, I left a new smaller cache here and a spare log as there were many ants in the paper eating the original and freaked me out how tiny they were. I think I got rid of them. I left the sharpener and pencil separate sorry tucked under the broken container. Maybe the next person can bring a larger container.
Thanks to the COs for maintaining these caches for our enjoyment! Cheers

Headed north for a few days & finding caches along the way, of course we had to divert to find this one... The track is a little overgrown these days, so we walked around 300m to the cache where a quick find was made of two caches. We signed the logbook in the original cache, we were unsure which one was in use but the sistema container is now deteriorated. Perhaps the next finder could bring another container, cheers

pug002 found it 27/8/2018 on our way back from north geocaching. Went to where it had all been fenced off and decided to drive up a bit further and spotted a track. GPS was showing us yes that was where we were meant to go so off we went. Took us with 40 metres of the cache. We found it quickly it was filled with water and everything was sodden. I went back to the car while geo hubby sorted out the things in it. I got a clip lock Sistema some rag and a new log book. We left all the wet things in the old container with the new one. Took Krabyboys path tag and will log it when we get home as can't remember the password to log on. TFTC Nissan
This the start of my journey north from Wellard . Day one ended at Kalbarri with only 2 DNFs and 19 founds , some very tricky hides ...... thanks to all the COs for the challenges.
We headed off on a return road trip today to add some more numbers and claim some smileys, a nice walk across the field before the daylight disappeared on our way back towards home TFTC
We really appreciated the walk to this one as it made our trip from Perth to Geraldton much more enjoyable albeit a bit more time consuming. Cache and log in good condition and co-ordinates easy to follow. Thanks nissan.
Found on way to look at wildflowers at Lesueur NP. Must be tick season, there were two sitting on the container! Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
TFTC! Today was day one of the "boys weekend" with me and Cravo heading up to Geraldton for IGD 2016, my third trip to this great part of our state and johns second. Think we will continue to do this every year? Especially with all of the new caches getting published around town!!
We drove up the coastal route to cleanup the last of what we had left, so that we could concentrate on the various alternate routes on the way home and on our trip to Geraldton and Mullewa next week for the annual Mullewa Gift event.
We picked up a number of new caches along the route and even some that we had missed on previous visits, being in a 4wd this year made it a lot easier to get to some of the hard to reach places that a 2wd would struggle to get to.
We completed a few really nice caches at cliff head including a legendary Liz and Bruce hide and a couple of ten year old caches.
We got to Greeenough and decided to complete the greenough walk trail caches as well as the caches along Delvin road, knowing that we wouldn't be heading back this way on the way home.
The greenough walk trail was great except for getting two flat tyres from some slow leaks that happened to go a bit faster!!
We then moved our attention to the planes series, which was just bliss, chewed through about 25 caches in just over an hour with Cravo and me taking turns at finding the most likely spot for a cache from about two hundred meters away.
We then meandered around town cleaning up a bunch of caches that have either been recently published or we've missed previously. Had a couple of DNFs, nowhere near as many as I famously had last year, but I might have to refresh my notes from some local cache owners who I'm looking forward to meeting at the event tomorow.
Thanks to the local COs for their hospitality so tatami their cool caches.

Headed to Geraldton for the International Geocaching Day event on Saturday 20th August.
Barnzy12 and I packed the car at 6am and headed North. Despite making a critical error by choosing the freeway to start the journey we then made it to Geraldton and checked into the motel by 5.30pm.
We found several caches along the way some new, old and even archived caches. As I missed the event last year I was guided to some others on the map that I hadn't found before and made for some quicker finds yet still enjoyable.
Ended up back at the motel after getting the new plane spotting series and some other caches close to the city centre at around 9pm. Beers were cold and was then time to relax. After a 15 hour day sleep was needed ready for the big day tomorrow.

Have driven past this one with the idea of collecting it sooo many times. Today was the perfect day to do a quick find. Lovely area..... TFTC
I wasn't driving my four wheel drive today so we had to park 400m away and walk a bit. It was worth it. TFTC nissan
Krabiboy and I hatched a plan a few weeks ago to head this way and grab some smilies . The weather forecast was not great but we packed the swags and took off for a couple of nights We had a great time darting all over the place adding to our tallies. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches.
nissan - jinta29 found your cache Cataby To Wedge on 9/07/2016, 4:40 PM. This is my find #5428 and find #16 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

I have been looking for a chance to come up to Jurien Bay and surrounds to claim some of the older caches in the area. I mentioned my very rough plans to jinta29, and before long we had set aside this weekend to make the trip.
This was another of the major focal points on my list of must do caches. A nice trail for the new 4WD. This one fills a spot in my Jasmer grid as well.

Followed the track around the fence line, no 4wd needed but a little clearance won't go astray
Searched a couple of rabbit holes with the help of a few roos before the spotting the cache a little deeper and buried than I would of liked. Tentatively reached in and removed the hide and completed the duties
Was hoping to carry on along the track back to the hwy, but had to do a u turn and headed out the way I came in

A bit off the highway but a great day for a stroll.. Quick find and no ticks!! Double Bonus
On our way from Perth to Darwin we saw many great things and places - many of them thanks to geocaching! We thank the owners for sharing their favorite spots with us by hiding their caches!
Follow the track around the fenced area. Need a bit of ground clearence as the track was a bit soft.
We made the find easy enough, but getting to GZ was a puzzle at first as we tried to get there from Wedge Island via the dunes. After turning back we came in from the highway side and were puzzled as to where the hard track was. It turns out that the track may have been recently dug up as a fire break. It was soft sand and no 2wd would get very far. maybe wait a few months and it may change.
Anyway thanks Nissan.

Found on our way to the international caching event in Geraldton with Allied OZ and Rokadz. Access was quite easy. A couple of kangaroos scared off while were here. TFTH
A couple of Roos joined us on this quick find as we make our way to an event on Geraldton.
A rabbit would turn his nose up at this hole now but some fresh ones about.

On our way to Geraldton for the International Geocaching Day 2013 with teams AlliedOz and The Fitzy's, Took a detour of the main drag for this cache we drove right up to GZ, we where in a 4wd but believe we where in 2wd all the way as the ground was quiet hard, we spotted a couple of kangaroos TFTC!!!
On the way north for the Geraldton event tomorrow. Had always meant to come and find this cache everytime I passed it so today made sure that I did stop.
Thanks nissan for the cache.
Thanks nissan for the cache.
Nice to find one of Nissans caches. We haven't done one of them for a long time.
We could have driven a 2WD almost to the cache as the ground was wet and hard from winter rain.
Thanks

Parked on Idean Ocean Rd and trekked in from there. Cache is exposed but in such an isolated location i suppose it doesn't really matter. Thanks for the hide.
We found what was obviously the entrance to the rabbit warren, so I'm glad we found the cache nearby so we weren't tempted to climb down inside it TFTC
We parked across the road from the entrance to the 4wd track and enjoyed a nice 700m or so walk in. When we arrived at GZ we saw a huge rabbit hole but thankfully we soon saw another one a fair bit smaller and discovered the cache. TFTC!
Well as the forecast was cooler for today I thought it was time for a road trip North, picking up
a few Caches on my way to Cervantes.
Managed to take the vehicle down the sandy track and park up pretty close to GZ,
to make a straight forward find.

Found on the way to Geraldton. Track in was good, only needed H/R and then made a quick find. Took TB Dienstmann Aloisius and will move him on soon. Nice views, SL TFTC nissan.
[:(!] On our second day of a three day caching run and spending a couple of nights at the Ledge Point Holiday Park, Ledge Point. We headed off to Jurien, we parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there. On arrival at GZ and after a couple of minutes of searching we finally had the cache in hand. Found on way to cervantes. Took a shortcut through my sisters inlaws padlock. Initially i was looking down a massive rabbit hole but wasn't game to put my arm down there! Ruffdawg then pointed me in the right direction thankfully! Log was very soggy but managed to sign it. TNLN TFTC!

Found on the way back from Wedge. My GPS was really playing around for some reason. TFTH
Out this morning to cross these few off of my "To Do" list. Originally came up to Wedge Island nearly 40 years ago, so was good to have a reason to come back and visit. Was cheeky here and jumped a couple of fences to get to this cache (is ok though as my uncle owns the land at this particular spot). Cache is on public land not far from the new main road, and easy to find. Took blue slinky, left cat dice. TFTC

Still bimbling our way home from our Northern holiday. Overnighted at Jurien last night. Very wet and windy overnight. Still grey and the odd shower this morning.
Quick find here. The longest part was finding where to turn off the new Indian Ocean road. Then turning the Land Cruiser around to head out again??

We thought we wouldn't be able to do this one till we got a new car, but with the new road and nice hard tracks it was pretty easy in the AWD. SL TNLN Thanks nissan for the cache.
We saw this one come up and thought that we would have a go at it and were very glad that we did. The track didn't prove too difficult but doing a u-turn with the camper on was interesting. Once at gz we took in the great views of the nearby sand hills as we followed the GPSr needle to gz for a nice easy find
Thanks nissan for a nice break in the drive

Great spot, If not for the new hwy, we would never have been able to get out to this
Awesome Cache! I had a good 4x4 drive from the start of the new Indian ocean road. They wouldnt let me on so i took the 4x4 tracks. Great drive and fun!! Dont mind the airforce signs unless the RED FLAGS are up. A great reserve and so close to the beach! Great hide guys! i had alot of fun finding this one. My car is now muddy, so i may need to wash it. The 4x4 tracks are easy so any type of 4x4 can do it. didnt have to engage 4wd once.
Left Travel Bug : 4k6pyx and took nothing. Left a pen in there as well.

Good to find the cache after a long time since it was last found. I was concerned it had been melted in the recent fires but it was ok. There was some water in the the container, we dried it out the best we could. There was very few trees around the rabbit hole as they have all been burnt. This cache is easy to access now as its only about 1 kilometer from the new indian ocean highway. We left a pokomon card in there.
*Found using the family group name Mackerals. Have decided to log it under my new profile.
An easy find, even after a snake was spotted in close proximity to the cache. However, we did get a bit lost trying to find the right track home. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
We initially tried to reach this cache from Lancelin along with another cache in the area. Alas after travelling on unmade rough surfaces for 15 kms we were to be turned back by the Army who was "shooting some big guns" this day. The sentry explained the whole area was cordened off for 2 days (this sentry didnt have a gun just a girly magazine) and we were unable to get to wedge point. ie come back in 2 days time. Haven't got the time but thanks for the interesting bush bash.
An easy find for Mrs Roo who often looks where I don't. I stood next to it for several minutes without seeing it. TN - L: fishhooks (accidentally taken from 'T-Junction'), SL. Thanks to Nissan for bringing us here, and for the cache.
Great spot. Plenty of people around 4wding and motorbike riding. Had to bypass the military range a few times.

Didn't think we were going on the right track for a while as in some spots it got very rough and boggy. Could believe that someone had been at the cache earlier on the same day.

Had a great day out and about up in Wedge. Found the 'Elusive Location' cache and then took a drive and found this one. All good fun although had to dig a bit to retrieve the cache. The Easter Bunny must have taken a shine to it as it had slipped quite deeply down the warren. I had to really stretch to get it out. Thanks for the fun though .

We were on way to Wedge Island for the day and made a little detour to this cache. A nice and quick find. There is no sign of the clan's footprints that has been wiped a couple of weeks ago by the weather. We wish to be there when they did, and probably the best show for a long time. Thanks for the great location and cache.
I get to log the FTF. Thanks to BelKen, Arlorggen, Sudenharr and Zigolphin.
This was the funniest cache I have been to. I will let you read their logs.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
I was the dedicated driver for Arlorggen and Zigolphin. We were in front of Belken who missed a turn and he was gaining rapidly. With the FTF in mind I decided to match his speed and some more. Arlorggen stated 30m and I applied the brakes "NOTHING happened" the brakes were indeed on but for them to work the wheels have to be in contact with the ground. We stopped 30 meters past the intended spot; however, Zigolphin was quick out of the door and closing in on the cache. At the same time Belken (Ken shoeless)and GeoBrett were also sprinting at the cache. Must have been the funniest thing I have seen for some time. In the end GeoBrett had the booty. TFTH
Yep this cache turned out to be more enjoyable than it ever should have been. We were coming back from a cache north of Wedge and made our way over to this one. Zigolphin was determined to get the FTF. We were behind SueDenHarr and missed the turn in about 800 metres from the cache. Once I had manouvered the car back in the right direction the front car had moved away about 200 metres. I sped up a little to close the distance only to see them pull further away. I had Bel calling the distances out as we approached and with 80 metres to go started the pull up manouvre which SueDenHarr got wrong. This put us 20 metres from the cache with the other vehicle 50 metres further on. Zigolphin had extricated himself from the floor of the back seats and had to get his bulk moving back up the hill. Ken in the meantime had decamped out the drivers door and vaulted the bushes on the side of the track. Bels door opened up on a cutting that she had trouble climbing up and Geobrett had to slide out the door under a bush that Ken had parked him beside. Arlorggen and Den just watched the antics up the hill wishing they had a video camera. Zigolphin was let down slightly by his driver and ABS brakes. Thanks for the cache.
The second lesson today about 4WDs is to apply the brakes while still on the ground and to slap the driver when he's laughing his head of. The antics of the rest as they raced for the cache should have been on funny videos. I had a great time with the family.
