Found during a caching trip along the backroads up to Dutton and Mount Mary for the day. Thanks for the cache Mark_oo!
After a freezing night we headed out early with iluvtrekking to explore the surrounding rural areas - our kind of caching. Thanks Mark-oo
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
It was a freezing morning in the Barossa but the sun is shining and the day is warming up nicely, perfect for caching. TFTC.

So the JAMS team managed to get a bonus day off so headed off towards Clare early, but strangely it took about 8 hours to get there. We found a range of caches along the way, so thanks for placing them for us to find.
quick find
The JAMS team (( JJ52, Allister W, Mogni, and sir_spectre ) plus TallBikeStan for this trip ) are headed off to the 20 th JuneLongWeekend Event in Clare. As you would expect extension poles, blow up kayaks, waders and ladders are in the car. I am sure every one else takes 11 hours to reach Clare from Adelaide, i am also sure via Burra is the logical to Clare . There was many photos taken of the fun times we had, even involving a ladder in the creek and of course many dirt roads ventured down. All caches for the weekend where stamped as JAMS and some more caches where placed on our travels. The missing JAMS member Michells&hound joined us in our B&B in Clare but didn't join with us for the JLWE game. The weather slowly got better over the weekend. It's good to see some gadget and creative caches around Clare that are permeant and not temp game caches.

Another quick drive by find in between showers. Thank you for the placement of this cache Mark_oo find number 7454 at 10 March 2021 3:22 pm
I did not make it to the early morning CITO but a spur of the moment decision had me meeting up with gridge98 at Mawson Lakes to head up to Eudunda to find some out of the way caches that we both had not found. I left home at 7:30am and returned at 8:30pm after a big day with 49 finds. We did a big loop finishing in Kapunda and I think this was a record for me with the number of multis found in a day.
Gridge had already found this one but he stopped so I could make the find as we were driving right past.
Thanks for the cache Mark_oo

A quick drive by where we logged & dated our find then returned the cache container back to its hiding spot.
The wind has certainly picked up but it’s very welcome as the start of the day began as muggy as all heck.

Another fine day out with SA Sewer Rats. Beautiful weather, a DNF rectified and a swag of caches with views. Perfect! The duo thought the ridge was the nearby hills, but there were no mistakes with the cache itself.
Another girl's day out.
The weather was lovely, good company.
Thinking of the hills.

On the way up to do the Tour de France series I stopped by with nettieknows to find this cache. Great to find this old one but the cache was broken so put the old logbook in a new container.

Out for a drive gridge98 on my 3rd day living out here instead of tassie. Nice little cache to start our day.
A nice drive after work brought Jack and I here.
Would be fun, and tiring, riding around here for 24 hours.
No bikes seen today.
Thanks for bringing us here Mark_oo , and thanks for the smiley

So its been awhile since I have started up my GPS and looked at what I have found. To my suprise I have so much logging to do, and from so long ago. So I have had to put a generic log together as I have no clue what happened this long ago.
Apologies in advance for the generic log, But life has taken a few different paths over the last 2 years now I have to play catch up.
Know one thing, these days I hand pick all the caches I do and well I hand picked this one so its a good thing. Generic log or not
Thanks for the cache Mark oo

Last time I was going to do this one the 24 hour motorcycle endure was on, very bad timing as there were people on top of the GZ's. Today I it all to myself on a very pleasant sunny afternoon.

With work bringing us to Eudunda we decided to clean up some of the caches off the beaten track and enjoy some of the countryside, 24 hours on a motorbike followed by 12 hours of standing as i reckon the backside will be feeling it after that, i love riding my motorbike but not for 24 hours. TFTC
I was out for the day with Honeysucker and by the end of the day, I had locus cache'd at 45 finds , 8 DNFs and attended 1 event
I am not bringing my bike out here: VFRs weren't made for this stuff and neither am I... 24 hours would be way to long for a ride...Iron Butt I am not!
Respect for the boys and girls who do this though! [^]

Quick find after a visit to Levi creek. Tnlnsl TFTC - but needs maintenance - container cracked - will post maintenance log directly.
An appropiate cache I have to say, seeing as I have competed in three of these and finished one and my fellow riding buddy has competed in ten of these and finished nine, so the bragging rights go to him.Great day to be out on large Dual-sports bikes, me, running mine in and my travelling companion helping to keep the dust in my teeth, tftc
A quick drive by today. Took marble left doll & calling card. No TB in there today. TFTC. SL.

The GeoTraveller TB has been grabbed to move on.

Found this cache on a lovely day spent with 2 caching mates, brisal5 and CPwanderer as we enjoyed sharing brisal5's 900th cache earlier on in the day and the wonderful weather. TFTC.
Quick find on a day out with AussieM&M and brisal5. Thanks Mark_oo for the hide!!
Out with CPWanderer and Aussie M&M for a days caching to forget about work and make it to 900. Quick find..mainly because it was just lying on the ground. Dropped in a TB and put back into it's hide nearby. Thanks Mark oo.
I have ridden this section before in the 24 hour trial so i had a good idea where to go. TFTC
Easy find while out for a country drive, roads all quiet today, great for cacheing.

Found while getting lost... Yep I got lost with a GPS, go figure, glad all these roads lead somewhere.
We have never heard of this enduro before but back in our motor cycle riding days we would have been a lot more interested in competing than what we are now. Although we are not sure if we could have coped with 24 hours on a bike, especially on these roads but for those who could it would be a fantastic experience. We read too much into the cache name of this one and expected to find it where it wasn't and had to do a u-turn, The cache was located quickly and the log book signed. For interest sake we will google this event when we get home and see if we can find out any more about it
Thanks Mark_oo for the cache

Found on the Keeping Ahead Tour 2009
A discussion about where the cache was going to be found started just as we approached the area in the cachemobile.
Ended up driving past and it was where I reckoned it would be.
Thanks

We can certainly understand how cold it must have been out here while the 24 hour trial was on. Dead set I am sure the frost setting on us as soon as we got out of the car. This was found fairly easily even at night.

Been meaning to get to this cache for quite some months and today we finally made it [^]. No doubt, this is one of the places we overlooked from Mt Rufus (Lofty Peaks #5).

Found with Joan. Lovely view. SL. Thanks Mark for organising the cache and hunt.
When I pulled up a farmer was on the other side of the road in his ute about 20 metres away! Hard to believe. Had to wait for him to head off before could check out the ridge! Hot and windy. Took grip thing, left new pencil for cache (none there) and rubber coaster. Visited my Round Tuit Coin, which is helping me to keep track of my caches. Find # 81, third today.
#18 for the day.
Went all the way out there off of our planned route to get this lonely(not found since May 07) cache. No wonder it's not found often. When we got there, we had a great view of the next ridge...

Its the 2nd weekend in july, so it must be a 24 hour weekend... As usual we will be there. If anybody is heading up to the area for the trial this weekend and you stop to do this cache, see if you can find 'wells' control and pop into the ACRM van and say g'day... you can even log a find to our next cache 'Wells' which will be left as we leave on Sunday morning...
Happy caching, Mark_oo and family.

Knew about the endurance trials so great to visit the location. Very quiet today. The second time today that we had to move a sleepy lizard out of the way to get to the cache. Also lots of ants. Does this mean rain? Thanks for bringing us here Mark_oo
