Followed the hint but DNF... possibly missing as per the geocacher's message 4 days ago
The kids and I searched high & low and could not locate it they were quite disappointed
Called a friend who has found it previously for the exact location as we were unable to find it. She told us and when we looked a 2nd time it's definitely not there. Must have been taken
Day 2 of our invasion of Tumut saw us packing up camp before heading out for a full day of caching.
Teamed up with Albida33 for the most part of the day before we headed home.
Quick find here today whilst we stopped for lunch.

There was a small group of "us" heading off to meet more of "us" in Tumut for the weekend. Our merry band of misfits was made up of MTrax, Tankengine, Joolay, Aquilus1 and myself. In the car we all thought of a name that we could call our gang, but in the end we decided it was a Canberra Invasion Trip that we were on so just went with CBR5. We signed logs either indiviually or with the group name.
It was an awesome weekend all up, with lots of fun with friends. We cached all day then met up with the rest of the Invasion Team for dinner Saturday night, then cached some more on Sunday until it was time to head home.
**The Cache** We made a quick search of where the hint and coords were, but it wasn't until we read the logs which told us that the container was on the other side of the path. Once there we found it straight away. I think that this is actually a better place for the cache as then the garden on the other side isn't trampled by finders. Tftc TEAM DENMAR!!!

May the Fourth be with you. The Canberra invasion of Tumut has begun! Found with Boeing747. Not sure if cache creep has put it on the other side of the path. I put it back where I found it on opposite side to monument. TFTC.
Not where hint suggests. Read logs. Found with CBR5-DTY73, Tankengine, MTrax and Aquilus1 on a caching trip to Tumut. Having a great day, lots of fun. Unless otherwise stated cache found in good condition.
In Tumut with Trodectus for the Falling of the Leaves Festival. As we were walking around before dinner, we decided for a few caches in the area. Was doing from my phone offline, so only could get location and no other details. Arriving GZ we started looking and eventually found the cache, log signed and returned. On logging cache, was able to see hint and realised that cache is not where it should be, but very close by, will let CO know. TFTC.
4th find with Coybear2000. We were in Tumut for the Falling Leaves Festival. We had a bit of time before dinner, so we went for a few caches. Unfortunately we didn't have a good signal, so we could only go on location. We arrived at GZ and searched in a few obvious places. After some minutes we had CIH. Log signed and we replaced it as found. Now that we're on-line logging the finds we noticed that the hide didn't match the hint. We've messaged the CO. TFTC.
Found with nissan 65 on a few day away caching. Headed up last night after work. Thanku for the cache.
Found with cullum68 on our way to Tumut for a couple of days thanks for the cache

Another speedy find. Worth the visit. Continued on through the gardens to enjoy the Autumn colour and bulbs already flowering. Charming.
#7957 - 11:40; I was headed down to Melbourne to visit the geoaunt in hospital and catch up with the geostudent while I was there. Being in no hurry and seeking to avoid some of the boredom of the highway, I decided that today would be a good opportunity to take a detour and collect a few caches along the way. The route took me along the Snowy Mountains Highway through Adelong to Tumut, then south through Batlow and on to Tumbarumba before heading back for the Hume Highway and Melbourne. I had now reached Tumut and after collecting a nearby GCA CORS, headed over to give this one a try. The GPSr had me going in circles as I dodged the water sprinklers which were also in action around GZ. Checked the hint and once I spotted the object in question, soon had the cache in hand. Quick find on the way out of town. Left a fishing lure, picked up a 10 cent piece. TFTC!
It was an early start to the day when I set out with Aquilus1 at 0600 on Sunday morning (04/01/2018) to cache Tumut with a side trip to Gundagai. In all we travelled 520kms and it took almost 16 hours to visit 70 plus caches with 65 finds. A long but very enjoyable day. Some of the highlights of the day included visiting Junction Bridge (a Truss Bridge built in the 1800s), Googarragandra River Suspension Bridge (Built in 2006 and Spanning 51..8 meters), Tumut River Grey-headed Flying Fox Colony, Tumut Rail Station and the Tumut River. We had a little time to also visit the Old Gundagai Jail built in 1859 and the Old Flower Mill built in the 1848. Aquilus1 took a photo of me at the Brungle Centenary Park using my poker to poke the cache out of its hiding spot. We had lunch at Gundagai McDonalds and snacks at Subway. This is a generic log due to the volume of all the caches that we found on the day. Thanks to Aquilus1 for a fantastic day of caching and thanks to all the cache owners for placing the caches.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of 31st January 2018 my average was only 20 words per log, which seems a long way to the 100 target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After 2350 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including today), the average log length is just over 50. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my gaol before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.

It was an early start to the day that saw Darksidedan and myself heading to Tumut for the day with a side trip of some Gundagai caches as well as we travelled through. I had been keen to head off for a caching trip and Tumut looked ideal and definitely didn't disappoint. The scenery as we traveled through the area was everything I had hoped it would be and the clear fast flowing rivers beautiful as they flowed through the middle of it all.
A long but very enjoyable day, so many highlights and although we covered a large area and many caches I'm pleased to know there are many more so a return trip sometime is definitely going to happen.
Nice shady park here was a good relief from the sun, thanks for the cache Team Denmar.

We sat at one of the benches and enjoyed some lunch before ma\king our way to this one. At GZ we made a nice quick find.

TFTC. Enjoyed a picnic under an Oak tree nearby then wandered over to find this cache. Great spot!
Another lovely little park that we wouldn't have found without caching. If you get time, check out the list of the awards the park won years ago. This took a while, even though the hint was really helpful and we were sure we were in the right spot. The problem was a muggle gardener and it didn't seem right to be ferreting amongst the bushes with her close by. Eventually snuck in and with a concerted search it was revealed. We were starting to think we were going to end up empty handed from the day, but 1/3 aint bad. Nice hide. TFTC #279.
A last minute plan swung into action so StrangeTrousers, mtrax and myself were off to Tumut for a Sunday geomission. We managed to nab a decent number of caches before heading back a little earlier than planned as mtrax was felling quite unwell. It was still an all round enjoyable day and we plan to make a return attack!
An easy find for us here at this quaint little park
Thanks for the hide, TEAM DENMAR!

Out for a hastily planned trip out to Tumut with mtrax and SpecimenX. Oddly, neither of them have done a lot of caching out there and I had done none, so there were plenty of common caches to find. I really enjoyed the trip out there via Wee Jasper. The winding roads and amazing scenery made for a pleasant journey ... for most of us. I was a bit concerned about the predicted high winds, but they did not eventuate and on the whole it was as good as it gets for a winter's day in the mountains. In the end, we had to cut the trip a little short as mtrax was not feeling too good, but still a good day's haul & plans for a return are already in the pipeline. Thanks to my companions today, it's always great to get out of town and do some exploring with good company.

Spent a some time searching amoungst the bark but after receiving some minor cuts to the arms and poked in the eye, decided it was time to give this well hidden hide a miss. Will try again when back in the area. Thanks anyway.
I was in Tumut after dropping my Brother-In-Law in Batlow. He was riding to Tumut, I was geocaching in and around Tumut!
It was a hot day with a few finds and a few DNFs. Eventually the heat got to me, so I stopped caching and went for a swim in the River.
Cheers

This is a very nice place to take a walk. Due to the recent pruning this cache was found lying in the open. The log was signed the cache was replaced a little bit further out a sight. Thank you TEAM DENMAR for placing this cache.
Lovely gardens to visit. The overhanging trees near GZ have recently been subject to an industrial strength trimming and the poor cache container was very visible, though unscathed. After writing on the (wet) log we concealed it a bit better and of course still at the specified location. 30/12/16 11:50 am

Nice lunch stop. Got a cache and had lovely chat with fellow cacher emongs. Doesn't get much better than that. Tftc
One cache ooh found it on very brief stopover in Tumut with father and brother TFTC
A plan was hatched to go and pick up some caches in Tumut over the weekend with Rapidlywild.
So after work we set out on the trek.
All checked in to our abode for the weekend we decided to head out again and clear up some caches around town.
Took a bit of courage to first head into this one as there was a muggle close by watching us. But got there in the end and soon had cache in hand.

Plans were put into place for a weekend down at Tumut with one party of the FurfacesLL ladies. We headed off Friday after work and came home Sunday afternoon. We had a great weekend wandering around Tumut and surrounds seeing lots of things. The rivers were all flowing nicely and they were very clear. If it was hotter, im sure we would have taken a dip
There was a creepy muggle hanging around this one under the street light. I stood cover while FFLL went in for the search. Eventually the muggle was picked up by his muggle friend so I joined FFLL in the search. We soon had the cache in hand, signed and replaced.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR for the placement of this cache[^]
