When we arrived at this location there were two muggles. We had to wait until they moved on. Then accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. Then when we came to log the find tonight, we found that the cache had been archived!! Why? It is still there and in good condition. This cache will still be logged until it is removed. However we would suggest that the cache remain in place and if the CO can no longer maintain it, then someone else may adopt it. Thanks kenco.
A nice quick grab as we did the SST loop. Parked in the obvious place nearby then the short stroll to GZ. TFTC!
Find Number 1633, found at 13:03
With the current Groundspeak promotion encouraging caching for the numbers, GeoSon NationalSteel and I decided to try for all 100 finds in a two day weekend. The only significant series that neither of us had found was the SST, so we set off down South to try our luck. With 50 caches found yesterday, we needed another 50 today to complete the mission.
I had to get this one. The name made us think of Ummagumma, Mamma Gamma, Bamma Lamma and other great songs. While I was thinking of other rhymes, NationalSteel nipped off and grabbed the cache.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log using the signature GT/NS and replaced the container as found
Thanks kenco for the cache.

Day 4 had me starting in Mollymook and heading down the coast back into VIC and ending up in Bairnsdale. Enjoyed the winding forest roads a bit too much before being stopped by the authorities. 20 caches in total, and that's after a GPS malfunction. Saw a lizard and a Wallaby so not a lot of wildlife today.
13th find and no worries here. Always hate reaching into these things but I survived again. Signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

After returning from travel a week ago I find my feet still itchy, so here I am driving, caching 3 hours or so from home. Actually a daytime drive turned into a weekend
Headed back to Bega for a quick emergency room visit after finding glass in my gelato. I figured I had no pain, so I should grab this roadside cache. Not the intelligent thing to do but in the end everything was ok and it was a very quick find.
Cache found in good condition quickly in the dark

A very handy spot to stop on our way to Cooma from Gerroa, and an easy one to find, with safe parking and good coordinates.
Thankyou for placing it here to make our journey safer.
I sometimes wonder how many lives these type of caches save.
We have had a wonderful trip up to the OZGeomuster, and are caching our way southward to our home in Victoria, and we really appreciate caches which are placed at rest stops.

Overnight trip around the SST with Seemyshell and Brewmaker. I was really impressed with the wide range of unique styles and sizes. Another huge selling point on these were the interesting names for the caches (instead of numbered), which makes it easier to remember each location and find. Thanks to all the Cache Owners of the Sapphire Coast (namely dghoffy and elysium_au) for injecting the greater area with good quality caches. Thanks For The Cache!
On a two day road trip with Seemyshell and Muppet95 searching for caches around the Sapphire Coast. So many various hides along the way. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches in such a beautiful area to visit. TFTC

Heading into NSW on a relaxing few days away sightseeing and caching, not trying big note ourselves on what caches we get or don’t get while here, but to enjoy each others company.
Thanks to the CO for the placement here.

AddictedGamer and the family made quick use of the facilities, while I grabbed this out of the spider webs. Yucky! Tftc!!!
Time for lunch and a nice spot for it. On our wonder down to the Vic, mega at Alexandra. Lunch time. 2549 so far for us. Thanks for placing this cache kenco, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing
Found as we wind our way from Melbourne to Canberra the long way around picking up some stray map zones for a challenge cache as we go. Being dedicated caches we never take the shortest direct route to anywhere, except the next cache of course. A quick and easy find in the obvious place. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Two weeks in Australia for holidays with Kirdec.
Day 11. Time to come back to Melbourne. Last day, we drived from Sydney to Narooma, and today from Narooma to Lakes Entrance.
Of course, we do some caches on the way.
Mostly, the caches were found without difficulty, thanks to all the owners for their work.
Greetings from France.

On holidays from Brisbane visiting friends, down near Tathra for 4 days. Today we decided to tackle the caches around Tathra, Tanja, Kalaru, and the Princess Highway heading north from Bega. Due to the numbers found while on this holiday, I have decided to do a generic message. Thank you to all the cache owners who have placed these caches in the various locations. TFTC
Spending the day around Tathra, Tanja and Bega - it really was a day from the ocean to the mountains! We enjoyed the variety and difficulty of the cache hides. Thanks to all the COs for enriching our visit to this lovely area of NSW.
Thanks for the warning Kenco, so I could be on my guard and not crash into anything. I pulled up in time despite the fast driving traffic (why is everyone in such a hurry?). Found the cache and carefully got back on the road again. TFTC kenco
Yup seen this hide many many times back in Canberra! So very familiar with it.
A nice small little town, however the maps were COMPLETELY wrong so we had to figure out which streets to go down ourselves to find each cache!
Thanks for this one

Took The Woofer down the coast for a couple of nights, and used the opportunity to bring our cache count closer to 1000! It took us 8 hours to get to Bermagui, but we found over 40 caches, and had an absolute ball - with some of the most creative hides we've ever seen.
A nice quick find. Left some goodies. TFTC!

It is a long weekend in Canberra and a welcome trip away as work has been hectic the last few weeks. I was pleased to accept an initiation to stay with fellow geocachers Boeing737 & Jetfuselage (hope you're looking after my plane Will). The south coast is beautiful this time of year, however, with the warmer weather, the reptiles are on the move and I spotted numerous lizards and two black snakes.
I was surprised how quiet it was, I thought there would be a few Canberra cachers about, but no: just me. Forgive the generic logs.
A quick find.

#4356 - 12:40; The day had finally arrived to head to the coast with fitzy_65 and mtrax to give the SST and BFH series a run. The initial plans had been hatched with f65 a while ago, with mtrax joining in after a chat about forthcoming plans at a recent event. We had stopped for a couple of caches in Nimmitabel, along with a pie and a coffee at the local bakery before heading on to Bemboka for a couple more. We had now started on the main mission and had collected our first few in the SST as we headed north on the Princes Highway, with the goal of reaching Bermagui by sunset. This was our first departure from that series and a nice quick find. TFTC kenco
10709. Found on a weekend run down the coast with mtrax and LuckyL10n to do the SST and BFH series and any other caches in between !
Left Canberra quite early for our run down to the Bega & Bermagui regions. This was the next stop for the trip and one of the bonus caches we were to find. Quick find at GZ. Log signed, cache replaced, and we were on our way to the next one.
My thanks to my trip companions and all the cache owners for a great weekend !!

While gathering caches in the area we added this one to our list. A good spot to take a break, TFTC
Today's quest was to grab a few more of the SST series, and any others along the way. When I arrived there was a couple in their car and a bikie at a table. I waited a few minutes as the couple appeared to be about to move on. But another car arrived, so I nicked off to the other nearby cache. When I returned, the couple and the bikie had moved on, but not the other car.
I then moved on to another nearby cache, and this time, when I returned to this one, the area was free, and it then became a quick and easy find.
My thanks to kenco for the cache.

Day twelve of the Southern NSW Lounge About with BettyBoo3747.
A lovely sunny day, perfect caching weather!
The second day mainly on the SST trail, and a few other as we were passing.
We have found a few using this hide technique today, so it was a quick one.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 10208. Robmc and I had a rest day from the SST yesterday but made an early start again today. We left Tuross Head at 7.40am and first stop was School's out that we missed the other day. Started the real trail again at 9.10am and finished about 10 hours later back at TH. We now only need to go back to Cobargo and work our way north towards the finish. The inland scenery has been breathtaking and I really enjoyed the scenic views everywhere we went. Frustratingly, we had 5 DNF's today - they waste so much time.
Stopped for this one on our way past. A quick find and sign for us today.
Thanks kenco

We have made our camp at Bega & joined up with pprass to do the SST & others that we pass along the way in this pretty country side.
It was a very full day & we have done about half the track. Some great hides & a variety of containers.

Plans were put into place to spend the Canberra Day long weekend down at Bega collecting some caches with FurfacesLL. We cached along the way and picked up a fair few across the whole weekend.
It was day 2 (the MAIN day) of the caching weekend. Today we had it planned to do the entire SST loop starting at Bega and finishing at Bega. We grabbed a couple SST caches last night, but today we will be targeting all the others.
We set off nice and early, and managed to complete the entire loop. We found ALL of the SST caches except for one at the old hall (which was occupied by some drunks). A big shout out to the CO for the efforts that would have been involved in establishing this series!! Cudos!! There were some amazing containers, each varied in designs which made for a wonderful caching day. We had lunch at Cobargo (we were starving by this time) and we snacked for dinner. We collected as many caches as we could along the way, mostly SST but there were also others along the way. Apologies for the generic logs, just know, we had a wonderful time and we enjoyed the range in difficulties of these caches also!
Thanks kenco for the placement of this cache, we had a great weekend [^] Thanks for the company FFLL, had a great time as always

With the warm weather still around a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to head off again on another adventure. We headed down from Canberra on Friday afternoon after getting an early mark from work. Our hotel was comfortable and after getting a good nights rest we were ready for day 2. Our plan today was to attack the SST trail and others along the way and hope that we find all of them.
Apologies for the generic log, we had a cracker of a time around this area. Thanks RW for another fun weekend away.
The SST trail contained some easy finds and some not so easy finds, which was great, we also enjoyed the various container sizes and types used. We collected all but one in the trail due to some muggles who were enjoying themselves a little too much for our liking to approach to conduct a search. Which means we will have to return another day to this lovely area to collect the last in the trail.

Out with Just a cacher for a run to the coast. At last a chance to have a go at a few of these SST caches! Thank you! Love the cunning and variety of the caches in this group!
Black Bunny and I did a run to the coast this weekend, and we found scores of caches. My memory is poor and patchy, so individual logs are beyond me, mostly. For that, I apologise in advance. We enjoyed our weekend of caching very much, and we do appreciate all the effort and expense put in by the owners of the caches, especially those of the SST series. Thank you all!
Heading South towards Melbourne a quick stop for a cache along the way.

Gps wanted me parked on the road with speeding traffic but took the sensible option and used the rest stop to pull over. Quick spotting but had been jammed in too far by previous finder so needed to improvise an extraction rather than stick my whole arm in through spider webs.
On the way to Bega, turn rest area for woo time...short walk to GZ as sign in, no trouble. Thanks

This is one of the caches we were able to make a short detour for on our quest for the SST series. We were surprised at this one when there seemed to be so many special spots away from the highway.
Our thanks to kenco for bringing us here.
