After settling into our digs at the nearby caravan park, we needed to unwind after driving for most of the day. A very pleasant late afternoon walk to this cache. TFTC Team RUB
TFTC gorgeous little walk, watch out for the mountain bikers, they come through fast
Refound while on another 1 weeks visit to Beechworth in the caravan for the school hols. Early morning walk with Poppy, the geo-dog. Log & cache in good condition. FP from me for a nice area & walk.
We are enjoying the beautiful buildings and scenery while staying in Beechworth with family.
A beautiful walking track, but I didn’t visit Heaven or Hell - but I did find a large cache Thanks Team RUB

Thus is such a beautiful historic walk with the creek babbling along and remnants of the gold rush times. One of our favourite places in this town. An easy find here. Thanks Team RUB
These two caches at this end of the track have been sitting there waiting to be found for way too long. With a lunch pie date with geokid#3 and today being international geocaching day, a find was a must. We set out along the track in the cold and light misty rain, dodging the mud and trying not to slide down on our butts. Geokid spotted the cache partly out in the open as we wandered past.
I signed one of the many logbooks and rehid.
Thanks for the hide.

Thanks for the geo cache, we left a note, sorry we couldn't leave anything meaningful apart from a note.
Back in Beechworth today picking away at the few caches I have left in the area. Parked nearby and set off on this nice little trail. Quick find here. There's 3 logbooks being used !

Completed previously as BlackOpal2005. My daughter I thought it was time to create our own accounts.
Found this one during our rainy vacation in Australia. One smiley more, so geo-heaven is coming closer. Tftc
Phew! After 2 DNFs nearby I thought I might have to crawl through the tunnels to get this one. But in the end a nice easy find just off the track. Thanks.
It's stopped raining, still very pleasant in the bush. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
On 17/2 somehow geospouse TrudyJane and I missed the point here and were deterred by the anmount of debris around the gated mine entrance and so DNF. Bother that it has been found since. GrahamT
School holiday time at Christmas – hooray. A week in Beechworth in the caravan (3 times already to Beechworth) with our daughter. Sunny all week, window shopping, visiting historic sights, walking in the bush, supporting local businesses, & geocaching of course. Found at 4:10pm by AK & JK, with the 2 geo-dogs on leads while Mrs Boomajarril took a siesta. 11th and final one for today.
Day five of Beechworth camping road trip with Papi4506, Geoturtle37 & RoamingHowie, working our way through various must-dos.
Found as the daylight fades and the mozzies start biting. Time to head back to camp.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, team RUB

Day #3 for me of the cache adventure with OzHockeyChick, GeoTurtle37 and Papi4506. Today we are off to hopefully complete the 4X4 wherigo.
Time to turn around and head back to camp before the daylight fades but not before grabbing this quick find.
Thanks team RUB for the cache.

We were actually camping on the lovely creek and took the opportunity to take a stroll and collect some smileys. As this was an old cache, it was a must do for me. Thanks for placing this cache and maintaining it for so long.
We had taken a stroll this evening to get some of the many caches that are up in this area. Although it was lovely, we had to get a move on as the mosquitoes were not very welcoming. It is a great track along the creek, very picturesque. Thanks for the cache.
Seeing as i was camped so close, i had to come for a bit of a gander and check out these mines while i'm about it.
On a 40° day, the cool breath of air from the gated mine was so appealing we stood and refreshed our legs a moment before starting the hunt.
Of course my gps was failing and no help at all, so i blindly strode around until something looked out of place and yahoo, success.
Gotta love the finds completely blind to technology. Deserving considering this cache has been here so long now.
Thank you for placing a cache here oh-so-many-years ago.
This makes find number 2071, and quite possibly a souvenir.

When will Ozreg ever trust my female directional judgement when it comes to choosing the right track to take. Took 2 hours to get to the cache when it should only have taken 10 minutes
If you like to read BS, read Catnaps log. Seriously, having a great time out today with Catnap in the Stanley area and in great weather. Catnap can and does take the piss outa me, there lies the fun and her sense of humour I love. Tyfc CO.
Found on a walk with some of the Yackandandah cub pack From Lake Kerferd to lake Sambell. The Cubs love geocaching.
Found it. Nice little area that we had no idea about. Such a shame both tunnels have been blocked off. TFTC!
Found beside track when wasn't searching for it, hid it next to stump I found it at, hope it's the right spot
Only a few caching days left to us now before leave the valley (yes, we really are leaving - eventually) Decided that a day around the outskirts of Beechworth would be in order, plus one or two on the way.
After a rummage thru the bush, we found your good sized cache. Thanks Team RUB

Found with the geofamily and a heap of our new camping friends on the last night of our camping adventure in Beechworth. The kids all loved finding the cache and adding their names - who knows maybe we have some converts? Amazing tunnel here. I need to come back and explore in cooler weather as there are so many walks and cool places (and caches) in this town. Many thanks for the cache.
I originally found this cache with my Mum heymissjo, but now that I have my own account, I am logging. Thanks for the cache.
For the past few years I have cached as part of "team heymissjo", but now I am old enough to have my own account so logging the find. Thanks for the cache.
Beautiful walk through the bush. Bit sloppy from all the rain but geo was nice and easy to find!
This is one that the other half of Thewins5 found by accident. Checked on a walk in this great part of the world and all good and well hidden again- TFTC
We stayed at the caravan park for two nights last week and went for a walk to explore the bush and the mines, I stumbled on the cache by accident -- I suspect I've found more caches over the years by accident than by searching!

Parked along slushy Mauger rd - wasn't sure we'd get out after all this rain but was committed and couldn't turn back. Anyways we can work that out after we find the caches.... Quick find by youngest. SL, replaced as found & continued along this great trail looking for the next one. Tftc.
And as for getting back out...Lucky the 2wd thinks it's a 4wd and we had no probs.
Wishing I'd read the cache details!!! Had no idea about the tunnels til back home logging the find. Saw plenty of shafts along the trail so wasn't keen to step off the path with the kids. Sounds like we woulda had great fun in the tunnels. We'll have to go back now....

we arrived in Beechworth late yesterday and got ourselves organised. It was very cold overnight and water froze in the taps and hoses. We were fortunately warm! what better way to begin the day than to look for a few local caches while we wait for things to warm up a bit.
As we approached GZ we could see the actual cache from quite a distance off. All was OK however and hopefully it is a little less conspicuous now.
enjoyed the morning walk on the path.

Thanks ptw312 for taking me to this spot. Bit of history with the mine shafts. We managed to walk there and back in between showers. Lunch at Bridge Road Brewery then a trip to the lollie shop
Haha didn't read the description properly and thought the cache was in the tunnel but we were walking along and Indianagleeson was like hey there's a cache just here and grabbed it. Nice. Found with shellumbus in tow as well. Tftc.
TFTC!
Quick find....stumbled over it really....
Then went through the cave....great fun!
Found with Shellumbus and RedLeader&Fox2.

#1856 Our 3rd find for the day and nice quick find. We had spotted a couple of muggles en route to gz but it was all clear when we dived in to grab the cache. Thankfully you decided to hide this one on the surface as we were not prepared to go underground today. TFTC team RUB, we did go and check out the entrance to the nearby adit.
What a great walking track. An early morning track run whilst the family are still in bed.
Didn't venture into tunnels as I still had plenty of caches to get. I will be back.

Unable to enter tunnel that I used to run through as a kid. Found cache with cass. Tftc.
Went sightseeing in historical Beechworth. and grabbed a few caches around the area.
Decided to check out the tunnels, and grabbed the cache while there.
Many thanks for placing this cache, team RUB, for us and others to find.

Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. The tunnels are now blocked off, Hell is fenced and Heaven has a locked gate across the entrance. TFTC
B3683 and I checked out Heaven and Hall, and easily found the cache. Hid it well after signing log. TFTC
[:(!] Spending the weekend with my son and his family, having some spare time on my hands I went for a couple of hours of caching, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was in hand in a matter of minutes, what a missable day for caching, no rain coat, soaked to the sink, no gumboots, footwear saturated, feet frozen, fingers numb, had trouble trying to keep the log from getting, was glad to get back to the car for a bit of warmth from the geocar's heater but I soldiered on to the next cache.
I like it

Thanks so much for this. Would never have known about these tunnels without geocaching. We started walking through "heaven" but disturbed the bats and being a very confined space it wasn't very nice for them or us. So didn't get to the end. Never mind!
Found whilst on a walk with the family above the van park where we had Christmas. Geo grandaughter retrieved the cache, made her day! Tftc
Once we got onto the right path we found this quiet easily. We all went through the cave and got muddy.
Suscoe's 10th find of 15 for today as we headed to the north east.
The local dog came to say hello and then off for a quick walk to GZ. Cache is in good condition.
A quick find, log signed and we were on our way.
A sunny day with a gentle breeze.
Thanks to team RUB for this cache.

The cache was quickly found, we then continued on to have a look at the tunnel.
We have been to Vietnam & been through the tunnels there but there was no way I was going to enter into the tunnel here today.
This was worth a favourite point
Thanks team RUB

Got within 67m of GZ but nowhere to go ( as far as I could figure) but private property. The options if via the caravan park was not an option after yesterday's abuse from he park owner.
