Found it but it was tricky! The hints in the log helped The kids second find ever so theyre stoked
Was getting very frustrated trying to find this one. After reading through the previous logs we rechecked the first places we looked, reaching and feeling and we got it! Great hiding spot! TFTC
Couldn't find on first inspection, I had my suspicions tho. After a quick log read I knew I was on the right track, and before you knew it I was on! Tftc ironbark
Wow that stumped us for a while. Had to keep remembering the cache size! Driven past this park so many times but never visited. Such a sneaky hide. Other logs helped us after we had been searching for quite a while. Found two trackables, including one Ive been watching for a while since the Sublime Point event. Took a trinket and left something in return. My trackable (pictured) came for a visit. Thanks for a really cool cache.
This one took us a while. We were in the right spot but so well hidden. Love the treasures inside. Took one left another. Thank you. Really enjoyed it and how long its been here. We found two trackables and will move them on.
Nice hide!
Left a travel bug we picked up in Canberra that is heading North

Awesome cache! Definitely had us stumped for a couple of moments but eventually we had our hand on the cache.
Thank you for the cache, enjoyed the hide!

Hmmm two park and grabs on this cache which usually stumps most caches first time round. Went for a look and it wasn't in its correct position just stuck in a corner in the open. One of the rules of good caching is put the cache back where you found it. It is often there for a reason. Difficulty ratings etc.
It is now tucked away where it should be, so please replace it where you found it.
Happy hunting.

Hi Day One.
My son and I New Year trip turn into drive into NSW and beyond. Today was more about driving. I found 9 today with few DNF. Oh well they do happen.
The breakdown was a mystery, community event, traditional, multi and adventure lab.
Day Two.
We carry on heading south down Newell highway grabbing more caches. Stopping for old and some new virtual, plus more non traditional for a challenge. Unfortunately some of those prove hard to find.
I had lots of fun doing earthcache they brought us to some wonderful places.
I found 26 today the breakdown was 3 virtual, 3 earthcache, 5 traditional and 3 adventure labs with 15 waypoints.
Day 3
Heading towards Mt Buller
After early start we started grabbing caches along the Newell highway to get more LGA cover.
I found 28 today with a lot of driving. The breakdown is 6 traditional, 9 virtual, (most I found in a day) 2 mystery, earthcache plus 2 adventure lab with 10 waypoints.
Day 4
Back up the mountain to finish of what I started. I was 5 later yesterday to get the photos.
After that I grab more caches around the Mt Buller Village. Plus I found one old traditional, it is in the oldest 5.
With finds total was 12. The breakdown is 5 traditional, 5 virtual, multi and at not least a webcam.(finally).
After we finished on the mountain we started to head to Canberra.
My son and I had lots and fun today.
Day 5 Canberra
Early start today chasing caches for a challenge cache that I need for my next loop. Considering my first caching trip was fly in fly out. This time maybe little bit longer. Still not much longer need to be home in couple of day.
I found 25 today. The breakdown was 16 mystery, 6 virtual, earthcache, wherigo, traditional. Plus couple of DNF.
Leaving day for Canberra to Yass. I had a few kayaking ones on the list but not enough time for all. I DNF 2 but a CO gave permission to log it. I found the wire where the cache was. Then I headed to a event to meet up Canberra caching community. Two of them I knew from Brisbane who have move back here.
I did some caching around the park then headed to Yass to stay the night.
I found 20 today. The breakdown was 10 mystery, 6 traditional, 2 multi, letterbox and a event.
Day 6, Yass
Early start today I was chasing more challenge caches. Some of these were high. Glad I had my ladder. One was to high for it. Maybe next time. I sign 18 Challenge caches, some I qualify for other I don’t. Couple I need only few finds.
Total finds today was 21 the breakdown 11 mystery 7 traditional and 3 virtual. Plus 17 sign logs but don’t qualify for.
And lot of driving closer to home.
Thank you CO for your hides and the maintenance you do. For us to find
Sorry for the generic log.

Quick park and find while I was waiting to pick geowife up from an appointment. She graciously gave me permission to cache without her to pass the time. TFTC!
Tftc we did hunt for a while but found it after a bit of a feel. Paul and Lou NSW
We were out for an adventure showing TallWalker37 the ropes and Ironbark suggested we have a look at this one. This is a great one and well worth a look. TFTC
Because you can't find it doesn't mean it needs maintenance. Look a little harder and closer and you will find it is still there, if not just log a DNF and look again another time.
This is not a drive by you may need to put in a little effort.
Cheers
Ironbark.

Great for kid coalminers. Takes about 4 mins to find after you crack the clue and coordinates to find
Read the logs to help us know how far we needed to stretch our arms. Spied the edge of a container and a quick sign of log on a wet day. Geowife hit head on obvious structure from the crouching lion position on the way up.
#8758 (8 of 13 today - including 3 Adventure Labs)
I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to two months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES!
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Anything interesting from my day will be added here - don't hold your breath.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Once I stopped looking for a nano and checked the ache size it was a quick find.

What seemed like an impossible task with so many options, turned out a lot easier than we thought. Carefully investigating all corners systematically, eventually it was with bendy arms that I covered the cache. We got the lion's share of the cache! TFTC
TFTC!!!b ? I have been caching since 1976 and I have never found a cache as utterly challenging and mind bogglingly difficult as this one. thank you
That took longer than I thought. I think I’m going to have some lovely spider webs in my hair. Got if after I read the hint about using your hands. Thanks ironbark for a sneaky hide!
A great find for the kids. Beware the old bridge nearby as it looks like it would collapse like in an Indiana Jones movie. TFTC.
Find number 12 for today on today’s Sunday funday adventure with BarberBlackSheep.
Honestly, do not overthink it. It was the first place we checked, which we checked three times before BBS decided to put his hand in and reach around.

We started our search at one end, systematically reaching into any nooks and crannies. Dan even managed to reach his long arms into a couple of holes up to his elbows. Then we got to the other end and had found nothing. We re-checked what we thought would be the most likely locations - still nothing. Hang on. What's this extra hiding spot? Nothing on this side, but there it was on the other side. What a well hidden cache and also in a good location in terms of being muggle-free. TFTC Ironbark.
This has been my nemesis. Today was at least my third attempt. Once I read some logs and realised the size of the cache I knew there were only a very limited number of locations. Bingo! Finally! Excellent hide. TFTC
Found with Littl3Vix. After having a search, I decided to check some logs and Littl3Vix told me the clue. Ahh.. I had an iddea that I passed on and she quicjly got CIH. Tftc!
Have a small evening geoventure in the area tonight with Mizcupcake. Coming in to pick up a new multi as well as picking up a couple on the way. This one was a fun one, with so many hidey holes it was a race to see who could find it first. I came up with CIH only just seconds before mizcupcake was about to search the same area. TFTC!

Day 2 - Last day at the Gong with Rapidlywild for the Oz Geomuster 2019. Picked up a few caches before the Flash Mob and then a few after including a couple of old ones before heading back to chilly Canberra.
A bit of looking here before making the find. Certainly not the size you normally find on these kinds of structures which was a nice change.
Thanks for the hide Ironbark and thanks Rapidlywild for another enjoyable weekend away.

A weekend adventure up at the Gong with FFLL#1 was planned and put into action. We had already done the scout series, and we had collected the lighthouse series a few weekends prior to the event. This meant we had more time to dedicate to the Adventure Labs, Older caches and some more unique caches. Was a great weekend away and always alot of fun with FFLL.
Day 2 of the weekend event and it was time to collect a couple nearby our accommodation before making our way over to the Flash Mob event. Ahhh nicely hidden ! took a moment or 2 to locate, but at least it was decent sized and not like those micros on tanks some make you find. Signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance Ironbark

Finalf29 and I were down in the Gong visiting my brother... we were doing a iphone6/lunch swap... my brother gave me his old phone so I can now be in the 21st century... yep I'm going to use it to geocache!!!!! Afterwards we found eight caches before heading home. Great day all round!
This was our seventh for the arvo. Finalf29 and I had a quick look around and then a methodical look/feel. I was the one game enough... woohoo... that was very clever and very sneaky. Definitely a favourite point from me. Thanks

Looked for about 10 before geokid got bored! Will have to search again another day!
Took thirty minutes but eventually had CIH. Traffic caused many breaks in searching but giving Fav Point for hiding so openly. Kutgw
Tftc!! Great hide, it was my 3rd attempt at this cache with 4 people scratching in the cobwebs and putting our hands in dark cracks until finally the cache was in our hands!! If was placed in a reasonably easy spot it was simply we were over thinking it. Cache find no. 47!
OMG, how could I have driven past this place and never notice this. A quick read of the plaque and it was time to search for the cache. Looked here, looked there, felt in there and success. Log was signed and cache returned.
Thanks for bringing me to this area and introducing me to some of the Illawarra history. If approaching GZ across the bridge beware of broken planks

Went for a little caching run on a Sunday before I start work again. Some were sneaky, some not so sneaky. This was a tricky one. I have found similar ones before on all manner of objects (such as field gun monuments). Glad to have in hand after about 10 mins
No luck today. But also no bites of any kind of bug and rodent, so I came out as a winner.
Parked and strolled into GZ

We have travelled down from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Wollongong area for the April school holidays, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer at the Corrimal Beach Tourist Park. Today we were off to do the Scout Jamboree cache trail along Appin Road & Baden Powell Drive, which we plan to do in reverse order and thus finish at Cataract Dam. This was our 29th find of the day, and 39th find of the holiday.
After finding all of the Scout Jamboree caches we were now heading back towards camp, but stopped off for this one on the way. Parked alongside the park and headed over to GZ for a look.
Our hearts sank when we saw what we had to search, but then again it was a "small" size container so how hard could it be? Well it did take us a while but we eventually uncovered the hide and had CIH. It's amazing how well a "small" can hide on that thing. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Ironbark.
