#GA2730 - 09:40; Day five of the 2018 Oz GeoMuster mission with Sol de lune. After a night in Ballina, the plan for today was to cache northward through Ballina to Byron Bay and then on to Kingscliff before turning south for home through Bangalow, Evans Head, New Italy, Yamba, Maclean and on to Kempsey for another overnight stay. After an early start, we hadn't gone far up the road when we saw evidence of a heavy shower not too long before we got there, so we seem to have dodged a bullet and got packed up with fairly dry gear. Following a successful run through to Cape Byron, we continued our journey along some interesting and at times rather rough roads before getting to the highway and on to Brunswick Heads. After our visit there, it was back down to the highway and on to Kingscliff so I could grab this testline (yes, another one!), which Sdl had picked up on a previous visit. I took detour from the testline to grab a GC cache and picked up a bag of moveables which were sitting nearby, but now back on track for the fourth of the seven trigs in this testline today.
