Driving back from Rotorua to Auckland via a few places I went past two trigs a bit off the road and wished I had stopped. Then I saw this one right next to the road so I quickly pulled over on a sunny morning. The cows watched me as I got photos of all the relevant bits. There's a hunting lodge (Kuranui) right across the road for those into that sort of thing.

I didn't get coords at the time and was trying to find the hunting lodge location so I could get coords but then found GCookie had logged this some time ago. Kiwis don't do trigs it seems. Their loss!
