Ruru are slowly moving in to the Owhiro Bay area although they haven't become permanent residents yet. Great to see them being joined by this cute little fellow. Found with Owhiro Ray and Rosie the patient caching greyhound.

Found this 12 months ago with Djali Djinn, Yosser9 etc but the trail along the top had been set to premium and I couldn't log the finds. Good to see it's back to ordinary - thanks - it was a great adventure along the top seeking out all these caches.

Delivered a trackable wanting to head to Australia. A fine but cool afternoon on the South Coast.

Took a bit of effort but we found it in the end. Paid to have Owhiro Ray (who understands coordinates) and Faith 4560 (who understands cricket) with us on this one. TFTC all in good condition.
Paid to think a little off the coordinates for this one - and we needed to stealthy given number of nearby visitors.
Caching around Newtown and hospital grounds with Djali Djinn, Faith 4560 and Owhiro Ray. Quick and easy find.
Djali and Cassie2010 took the high road and Pete, Faith and Ray took the low road and we all met up at the cache spot.
Found it while caching with Djali Djinn and Owhiro Ray and the cache hounds. Final find of a busy expedition for the Basin and along Adelaide Rd.

A quick visit to my local to place a TB - pleased to have been part of its journey from Nepal to New Zealand. After all that travel maybe a little rest overlooking Wellington's beautiful south coast. May its journey continue on around the world!

Some of us are big kids at heart! Largest cache ever found by us - great fun, thank you.
Bit of hunting with those who had previously logged it, but we finally found it. Lovely spot for the dogs on a sunny day.

Great hunting through the woods with Owhiro Ray and the Cache hound (who was more interested in chasing rabbits) Nearly muggled by a couple of nosy goats, otherwise saw no one. TFTC

Easy find with Owhiro Ray - a very busy piece of road at the time we passed through so didn't get to stop and search for the others in this series - next trip!

Tried for this one several times and good to find it's been replaced. Not positioned for easy access for a couple of Older Cachers with back issues - LOL! With Faith 4560. Knew the artist/sculptor of the piece in question.

Found yesterday with Owhiro Ray. Another hidden spot that makes a good dog walk/caching combo.

We went a little of track at first at first and must have looked a bit suspicious to any passers by but once we figured it out a quick find. With Owhiro Ray. TFTC.

Second hunt for this one and easily located today. Log is damp and second bag wedged so far down container we couldn't pull it out.
Early morning dog walk up the track before it gets too warm. Bit breezy at the top but rewarded with wonderful views over the south coast.

Straight forward find late on a Sunday evening when the sports teams had departed for the club house!
Quick find but log book needs maintenance - has got damp and only a line or two left.
