Logs for Discover Angaston

30-Oct-22
Sounds like the cache has disappeared. I rarely travel to Angaston nowadays so time to archive

24-Mar-21
Time to go for this cache

13-Jun-18
Checked on the cache over the weekend and it is definitely gone again.
Time to archive.

20-Nov-16
Another one bites the dust.
I don't travel to Angaston routinely anymore and I am not sure it I can even find a similar camo.
Time to go Sad

06-May-16
New log sheet added. Cache is in good condition

New log sheet added. Cache is in good condition

04-Mar-16
The church 'resident' has returned with a new log book

25-Feb-16
Log book and inner container are indeed gone.
Taking this off line for a week.

24-Jul-15
Placed a new logbook this morning and took the wet logbook to dry.

23-Jul-15
The cache has indeed disappeared and the hide is compromised.
Time to go for this cache Sad

24-Apr-15
With the winter rains not far away, it is time for this cache to go.

18-Jan-15
Council has done another clean up and cache is gone again. Time to archive this one

25-Jul-14
Franklin's house has been violated and his toolbox plus lock have been stolen. I hastely put in a temporary container. A new container will need to be sourced. Until such time this cache is a traditional.

The contents of the cache has been stolen. A new temporary logbook has been placed.

07-Feb-14
I went for a slow walk on the banks (36C does slow you down) and placed a replacement cache. Let's hope council doesn't all of a sudden decide to clean the place up.

27-Jan-14
I am disabling the cache until I can check out GZ and get replacement camo

11-Oct-13
Thanks for the notification Super 5!
I found the logbook and returned the cache container in its proper spot.
All good to go again!

21-Jun-13
The cache has indeed left the building. Strange, as all the camo was still in place......
Anyway, a brand new container with replacement logbook can now be found again.

13-Jun-13
Rather then re-inventing this hide, I have decided to archive the cache and to resurrect it in a nearby location: http://coord.info/GC4E74D

07-Jun-13
How disappointing.... the cache container is gone again. Makes you wonder why some people just love to sabotage things.
This cache will move shortly to a brand new location or failing that the cache will be archived and resurrected in a new spot.

The cache and its camo have indeed disappeared. Maybe it's flown North to warmer regions.....
A new cache and replacement camo are now in place.

10-May-13
Unfortunately local council has done an absolute butcher job on such a wonderful natural feature leaving the cache very exposed [:(!] Twisted [:(!] Twisted.
Everything is back in place for the time being, but I may need to re-consider the hide soon.

26-Apr-13
Unfortunately the cache container was damaged by a previous finder trying to gain access.
A new and very similar container has now been placed in a NEW location. The coordinates are the same but the cache is no longer on the grandstand. The two terrain stars however are still applicable.
Enjoy!

19-Apr-13
The camo for this cache has been 'upgraded'.
Maybe the cache should now be known as 'Franklin's house'? [:p]

18-Apr-13
The new roof is finished and a new cache has been deployed.
It may be a bit tight for the first couple of finders

12-Apr-13
It is very disappointing when a great piece of camo goes missing.
When does 'muggling' become 'theft'? The 'camo' was worth $40.
Anyway, the cache has been replaced and we're back in action albeit with a slightly smaller version...

There are some renovations happening at the blacksmith and bunting has been put up. So we are making this cache temporarily unavailable. Hopefully we'll be back on line soon.

18-Mar-13
What a shame that the cache got archived. But fear not there will be 8 new Angaston caches released in two weeks time. We hope to use this spot for an additional 9th new cache soon.
