I let the mother figure do all the brain work, and then I tagged along for the find. Brought the grandparents too! It was a pretty easy find once we got there, but fun all the same.

Came along with the family to my very first geocaching event. Thanks to everyone for being so welcoming, even to us kids! It was really nice to meet everyone and even find a couple of caches while we were there. 

The parentals had found this a couple of years back under the previous COs but decided it was time to show us. We only got a little bit kerfuffled. Excellent cache!

I'm not much of one for getting dirty or going where there might be bugs so I tend to shy away from a lot of caches and let one of the boys stick their hands in....but I was brave today. And nothing jumped out at me.

Oohhhhh I really liked this one. I don't think I ever would have spotted this if I had been on my own. Thankfully the more experienced cachers in the group were a bit more "thinky" today and found it. Now I'll keep my eyes open in the future. BRILLIANT. Favourite point for sure!

Fairly easy find and retrieval, with some guidance from the other members of my group who have already found this.
Sadly the travel bug was NOT in the cache as the cache owners appear to have retrieved it themselves (according to the log book). PLEASE could the cache owners log the travel bug as "retrieved" on the trackable page?
