GPS not working, followed description, but feel recent painting may have an effect on find? Also Petrol station has been closed for last few months
10-Mar-13
By EllieBellie with Westbat42, Darcyboy and Rosie. As locals, we stopped here for a run for the kiddies. GPS went haywire, but Ellie's eagle eye spotted the cache. As not planning on cacheing, we had no swaps, but we will return to add some swaps for what the kids took.
**WARNING** millions of mosquitos here due to the recent rains - we were savaged, and are still scratching!

With Westbat42, Elliebellie10 and DarcyBoy12 who found the cache first. Left Alcatraz and took I love KL
We believe we were at GZ but GPS kept jumping. There was also a lot of rubbish and muggles around.
Great place and mausoleum, which I never knew was there.
At least I could take a few Instagrams.
We will return

Ah, found it. I knew where it had to be, so I sent in the first born to retrieve it (bit too wet for me!)
After enjoying the unusual summer afternoon (and beverage) in the adjoining beer garden. With Westbat42 and the Geo3 kids.
04-Feb-12
We must be doing something wrong! Too many muggles playing tennis and having a bbq in their 'shed'. We shall try again. With Westbat42 and the Geo3 kids.
Great view on the first sunny day after A LOT of rain. With Wesrbat42 and the Geo3 kids

The spiral mound is now fenced off with no access unless you find a break in the fence and go through. Tried using satellite image and counting trees as mentioned in earlier logs - came up with different numbers. As it was late in the day we decided to leave it for another day and continue on into the city for Luna New Year Parade.
Sent the two 9 year old Geo kids on ahead to find this one, before a couple of strolling muggles summited. No room to sign log. With Westbat42
28-Jan-12
Found the co-ordinates and started looking around. Sent Westbat42 into likely spot due to previous spider comment. Geo3 were too busy playing in the playground to help look.
Knew where this place was as we see it from the train daily. My GPS had the original co-ordinates. After going back through the log we found the new co-ordinates, and found the cache promptly. With Westbat42 and the Geo3.
Many, many muggles here, with one lot leaving before being placed by another group. Had to wait for a couple of security guys to finish their smoko and move on before we could access GZ and get cache. Westbat42 first to find this one.
With Wesbat42 and the Geo3 - first find for middle Geokid. We really enjoyed this one - GPS working well and the area was dry!
27-Jan-12
Very wet and extremely slippery, especially near the fast flowing water. Decided to come back on a drier day, particularly after Westbat42 fell unceremoniously on his arse!
The little bag has a significant hole in it letting in quite a lot of moisture. The log was very wet when we found it so I took it into the Ladies for some time under the hand drier. Will need a new bag.
26-Jan-12
Found with Westbat42 and the Geo3 kids. GPS had us on the other side of the track, though, but we found it in the end.
We enjoyed Gravesend 1. We got to the spot, but had trouble projecting from there. Rain and hunger drove us to abandon this one for another day
25-Jan-12
Caching in the rain. Whilst looking with the kids we found a number of syringes so we pulled up stumps
23-Jan-12
Just me and two of the Geo3 - After our first find yesterday, the kids are crazy for Geocaching. Found by firstborn.
After Power vs Pizza we knew what we were looking for. Found by the youngest of the Geo3 - T2
Sometimes it helps to take a step back to see better. This one found by me before the kids, although I did send the youngest to fetch it. Needs a new log.

First Geocache for the family. Thought we'd try an 'easy' one in good terrain whilst working out the GPS. Bumping into the owner encouraged us to stay with caching. Found it pretty quickly. Log in good condition.
