Needed some googling and guesswork to get a yes from the checker, then a wander to try and spot a friendly monotreme. We loved learning more about these at Beaconsfield in Tassie where you could get pretty close to platypus and echidnas. Fun fact when they wiggle their bills around in the mud and gravel, they have their eyes closed!I think I had my eyes closed, took quite a while to locate the container. An impromptu cache day, was only driving around to get out of the house, they have our street closed for resurfacing works. So I didn't have my good boots on, just some old slides, and was wary about bushbashing but it's pretty easy to navigate through here. Solved the puzzle after watching a movie nearby with the family, but didn't have the car with the pole in it, so a return visit was in order.

Took a wander then found the container. Pole was at full extension but still managed ok

Spent half an hr searching before getting a headache and realising I have better things to do with my precious time on this earth, like watching paint dry, or filing my tax return
Maybe another time 

Seems these are getting higher and higher, the one I just DNFed recommended using binoculars to spot it which suggests things are getting a little silly perhaps!

Anyways wanders around and around looking here looking there. Finally spotted then retrieved ok, but returning was always going to be the issue, with pole at full extension and the pendulum effect causing a little movement down here making a big movement up there.

Its a busy spot in the afternoon, with 2 paths, a park and basketball court all being occupied. While I was chasing the container around up there I heard a group walk past and a little girl say "what's he doing"? I didn't dare break my concentration or might never get it back up.
