Logs for PegLegMeg02
14-Nov-24
Squawking pest Myna birds welcomed me into their territory. Spider webs in my face as I headed to the suspected GZ. Cache in hand and signed quickly, thankfully no other nasties, no slipping on the decline down, and no remains of avians. Thanks for the quick cache. I like secret hidey holes like this!

TFTC. We got bamboozled somehow by the multiple trees. Should have been simpler.

3 Of 3 found today! TFTC. Actually quite a nice place to have a wander and stretch the feet.
Finally! After a DNF previously, I went to a slightly different part of scrub, walked in and leaned over, and presto. Cache in hand. TFTC.

TFTC. We nearly gave up, but after being recommended to go 10M East of GZ, and persistence, we nabbed the cache. No pen, no protection for log.
I love these kinds of caches. TFTC Said hi to the feathered friends as we walked from Flannigan's.
29-Jul-24
Nice quick find. TFTC. went on a rainy day, can find easy if you're wearing a rain coat. Recommended rain resistant shoes, but I nabbed it with runners.

Took a new geocacher who found this little guy with no camo. Rehidden as best I could. TFTC

Do yourself a favour and go inside if you like architecture and books. Absolutely stunning. TFTC

TFTC. Here for a spot during school holidays. No muggles around since 2 trains left in the morning, and their return isn't until later.
29-Jun-22
Mini story time: Walking to GZ from nearby carpark, the muggle kids on the oval lose their ball and it rolls towards me. Trying to be a good Samaritan, I kick it back to them and oops nearly launch it into the tree. My bad.
Cache was found by a slightly embarrassed me very quickly afterwards, and happy to be back in the car where the wind chill hid my red face a little better.
I also got to see 2 of my fave doggo breeds (greyhounds).

Oh I love seeing caches like this! The slight hill from where I parked? Not so much!
TFTC. In and out in a few mins with no muggles around until I was back on my way to the car.
New fave so I can show others this kind of cache in future.

TFTC. Out at work on a stunner of a winter day. Not a single cloud in the sky, and almost hot enough to take the jumper off.
27-May-22
Nice quick find in the grass. Had a good chat with Bernie. He was kind enough to show me through the old museum here. Thought it also appropriate to leave Sophies unicorn trackable with the horses nearby.
11-Apr-22
After a previous DNF and now the sun setting, (just didn't have my Geo brain working) I resorted to searching pictures in the previous logs. Once I spotted the spot, I realised I needed to walk about 3 big steps back out toward the corner to find the right "tree". Hope this helps people like me!
19-Mar-22
Second time looking for this one hoping to pick up the SpongeBob trackable, no luck. Even used the camera to have a really good look.
DNF due to the harder than expected Terrain. Recommend to up the terrain from 1 as I sustained a rather nasty scratch. Got to see the car but didn't go further.

Number 4 of the day on the way home from mini trip to Albury. TFTC and as my partner said - "omg that # is really strong!"
This would be a really fun kid friendly cache! Love the design and had to use the clue until I realised there was a clear geotrack. TFTC ! Looking forward to more big ones around the area!
Why it took us that long I'll never know lol. TFTC it took Guts to get to the middle of that one.
Had to widen the search and yup within 5 seconds found it. TFTC, that dam view indeed!
Definitely a quick drive by. Easy to find. Sad to read about the tragedy. #3 of the mini holiday to Albury.
Found! Going to take unicorn trackable home with us and find out where she wants to go once we have reception

TFTC - #1 while taking new husband on honeymoon to Albury.
Easy find after we noticed the obvious.

Hooo boy, I knew I'd expect one of this size! Took a few minutes. Saw it, waited for the muggles to move then snagged this little blighter. Nice hide tftc.
Has been recently nibbled on by some creature and its water proof nature is comprised. Otherwise found discreetly and quickly even with other dogs and muggles about.
Nice Quick find tftc. Camouflage is looking a little worse for wear, but still effective.
