Great Sunday afternoon drive

Nothing to see here

25-Feb-18
Sunday trip to Murwillumbah after getting avocados from Freeman’s Farm. Nice find

Tricky but got it after a little time to SIT and reflect on where it could be

Having a great day with geokids

Well disguised cache. Nice find close to toilets and a park fir Geokids to have a play

No luck for us either

01-Sep-17
Two caches in 5 mins. We're having a blast with our Geo kids

Great start to spring. Lovely day and lovely place to visit. Thanks

Got it, but was a little tricky to find and was on the lookout for snakes. Left a few nice trinkets for next to find. Original container not watertight anymore.

Hint- termites we're here first.

20-Jun-15
Couldn't find this yesterday arvo - muggled again me thinks.

14-Jun-15
Take care getting up to cache as greasy underfoot. Lovely Sunday arvo drive in our fav valley.

Lovely Sinday afternoon drive in the valley. Greasy underfoot so take care when getting up to the cache.

08-Jun-15
Second time here, love driving in the valley.

25-Apr-13
Been to LTP I previously but didn't have time to look for this cache then. Came back as thought it appropriate on ANZAC Day. Found it quite quickly up near the fence line - opposite side of the river to the road. Beautiful, peaceful day TFTC.

27-Oct-12
TFTC found it at second attempt, had GPS with us today. Great location, recommend people pop into fruit stall on way back down valley, always good for a chat too.

01-Oct-12
TFTC. Quick stop to find some Birthday Treasure for Geokid's 5th before heading to the park opposite for morning tea and play with Franjastia. No logbook - lid missing.

30-Sep-12
Didn't find today Sad
Sign has been completely removed and the area around the rocks, next to the tree, has been heavily mulched by the council. Started digging around and Geokid discovered a batch of eggs under the leaf litter so we gave up in case we disturbed something else. Also concerned that the cache has been disturbed by the recent council works.

Thanks anyway, always good fruit and veggies at Freeman's Fruit stall nearby.

Great end to the day dropping in here at a quiet time to log a cache and dip our toes. Thanks Krugers!

29-Sep-12
TFTC, Geokids had a great time monkeying around.

Dropped in on the way down to feed horses near the rock pools. Be careful to find the correct tree otherwise you may get a surprise 'treasure' as we did. Will add photo of a Screech Owl's Cache - Yum!

Completed over two days as it was getting late when we walked around to WP2 and Geokids wanted food and entertainment.

Got it this arvo, but was a little concerned about snakes in the area after listening to radio news about how many there are about at the moment. Took it easy and even managed to avoid the Golden Orbs that were trying to get us.

TFTC

TFTC nice peaceful morning, unfortunately geokid dropped pen on sandy ground so couldn't record in the log. This was our second attempt as GPS on phone wasn't very accurate and there were lots of muggles about previously. Not so many today due to cloud cover.

Finished up here after a good day Caching. Beware those who come after, we left a little Devil behind!

Nice little stop on way home after getting fruit and veggies from Freeman's Fruit Stall and feeding the horses near the Rock Pools TFTC. Geokids love the crystals.

23-Aug-12
Penshawpoms returned to this great cashe location this afternoon to drop off a couple of trackables that we brough back with us from the UK recently. We had planned to create our own Cashe at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for the Ape so the students could learn about Australian Wildlife. Unfortunately, it turned out that there is another cashe too close, but it isn't big enough to hold the Ape. Similar story with the surfboard which we had hoped to drop off at 'Snapper'.

Lets hope these trackables have a fantastic stay in Australia. Can't wait to see how far they get. Sorry for posting some pics of Currumbin Sanctuary as these are for the benefit of the kids in the UK to see where Ape got to.

15-Aug-12
Had a lovely walk around the headland after looking out for some whales. Great way to end the day after work. Dropped off a very special trackable that we picked up from sunny Sunderland in the NE of England. This little fella wants to be taken to all the oceans of the world where whales swim. Burleigh is a great spot for him to start his journey in Australia as there are lots of Humpbacks visible this time of year, once you get to the lookout at the top.
