Found it, kids think its sooooo exciting!
I researched this history piece for a tafe assignment, so it was extra special to come and 'explore'.
This event has a permanent place in local and national history as Broken Hill became the scene of the only enemy attack on Australian soil during WW1.
There are many historical events that have happened and are long forgotten, this is a terrific story to pass on to our kids.
This story was probably overshadowed by the great loss of life on the battlefields of Europe but it is still a story of national importance because it was the only action on Australian soil during the First World War.
