I have only just seen this cache and I'm not sure when I'll get back to NZ to log it (hopefully (2020 or2021!!!).
So I am logging my intent to do the rambles before coming to claim the cache.
1. Today I did a longish ramble of 4 hours 30 mins to find a bonus cache so we did a few other caches on our way to this one around Stoke Hill in Exeter, Devon, UK. GC7NTZP Mystery Cache
Stoke Hill Saunter 9. Boneus Cache. we walked up a short hill then up a little bit of road before finding another footpath which we followed to a T junction and turned Rt, along the lane dividing fields a bit muddy in places and then turned Lt along the footpath, turning around at the road and followed it back to where we turned Lt and carried along the other way until we got this cache, then we carried onto a busy road and eventually crossed over to another footpath down the hill and back to the car about 7 miles in total

Out with Ky Devas and Red Roaming. we talked to the CO over the New Year and they were getting upset that their submersible was sinking fast and no-one seemed to be rescuing it. We said we were the girls to get there. KD knew someone with another submersible, who was (With a lot of persuasion) willing to lend it to us. off we set on our perilous expedition. RR didn't do well as she HATES water and was very much out of her depth but we kept her mind off the water outside the craft by thinking about how to rescue the sunk submersible and how to anchor it so that it doesn't sink or move any further, various ideas were put forward but none really practical. it took us a long time to get to the area where the sunk sub was last seen. down and down we went, our lights piercing the gloom just about. Suddenly I spotted something - was that it???? YES there it was. Now to secure to prevent it moving - that was much more difficult but I think we managed it. Now to return our borrowed craft without damage and in a timely manner. .........

cache signed with our full caching names and what a great cache. MTFTC

Red Roaming, Ky Devas and myself decided to come and find this ginormous cache today. KY parked her huge vehicle in the spacious car park. we took note of the first numbers and worked out the next stage. we took gigantic steps along the jumbo path following the riverbank of the enormous swollen river. we followed the path past the sizeable waterfall and up to the next stage. we found the immense platform with the tremendous views. there we worked out the final numbers and we took the colossal path past massive trees with the immeasurable drop to the final stage, where we found the cavernous GZ. and a vast hurdle to overcome. Up the prominent hurdle the team went, to find this massive cache, we used our extensive knowledge to get to this cache. The large log was signed and down to earth we came! what a momentous moment! Thank you for generously placing this BIG cache. Mammoth Thanks for the cache. Space is BIG. Really Big.

Staying with my mother over the Christmas period and I needed to get out for a walk. these fitted the bill nicely. Got to the parking area about 1.5 miles from mum's house to find snow and ice lying on the ground - there was nothing where mum is!
dressed up warm and off I went. I had to wait for 2 muggles and their dog to move before I could look for this one. soon found once my GPS settled down.
I forgot to take the needed info as I didn't realise what to do until over 1/2 way around!! TFTC

please see main log at Simpson Series 'Doh!'

wasn't sure about this one and my GPS doesn't do waymarks (or I've turned it off and don't know how to reset it!), so I followed my nose down the main path, and found the little side path and followed my nose and GPS and got to GZ - PHEW!

Staying at my mother's in Yatton, and wamtimg to go for a walk between showers. This one was just down the road. I was ages looking for this. I vaguely knew what I was looking for and it was in the last shelf I looked on. Nice hide. MTFTC and another in this lovely series

on the way back from getting fuel and decided to do a bit of caching - I wish that I'd stopped with this one, which was a nice quick find. TFTC

I didn't do well today and this was one of 3 DNFs and only I find. on the way back from getting fuel, when I got here I remembered that RR and I had previously looked for this one to no avail and I had NO success here again. The GPS got no lower then 25 feet and the hint is too non-specific and I didn't want disturb too much moss

I know that this one was still temporally unavailable but I went to see how far the workmen had got. the path is now open and there is no work going on BUT the area has been totally cleared and even though I had a good luck I couldn't locate the cache - Sorry

I wished I stopped at my first find today but no I decided to carry on only to have 3 DNFs!! of which this was one. I had a really good look all around and my GPS got down to 3 ft BUT nothing came to hand and I'm afraid I didn't understand the hint. It could be still on site but I couldn't find it. sorry

19-Dec-17
Should be able to attend

Out with Red Roaming on this beautiful sunny December day. just getting a few local caches and a FTF, I had solved this some time ago and RR was happy to come for the walk. another footpath I'd not been up before. I got to GZ well ahead of RR and started looking. GPS was playing up a bit but soon narrowed in on one spot. AAHH there it is! what a sneaky hide!!! MTFTC and the puzzle

out with Red Roaming on this fine December day. this was going to be the last cache of our day but it was too dark to look properly and too many brambles, too much hawthorn and Why Here Del????!!!??? I'm not writing a DNF as it was too dark to look properly

Out with Ky Devas, Devon Maiden and Red Roaming on this overcast, sl drizzly (Very occasionally), warmish December day. We had just completed the Crease Capers trail, and decided to collect this one as KD had kindly solved this. Like others wondered where this might be but found the secluded spot fairly quickly and KD had the cache in hand swiftly. Log signed Devon Girls or DG. MTFTCand the puzzle. another in this great series

Out with Ky Devas, Devon Maiden and Red Roaming on this overcast, sl drizzly (Very occasionally), warmish December day. We had completed the Crease Capers trail today, and had decided to do a few cache and dashes for KD and DM As RR & I had most of them Log signed Devon Girls or DG.
this was my last cache of the day and we arrived as the light was fading - no good. anyway we searched and searched. re-paced the steps and eventually DM spotted something - Yes it is the cache. Nice container. MTFTC have a fav point

please see main log at Crease Caper No.1.
we were sometime at this little bridge. the cache is on the opposite side to where you think it might be (I think SE corner is better description). DM did the deed for us here, and preformed more surgery. TFTC

Out with Ky Devas, Devon Maiden and Red Roaming on this overcast, sl drizzly (Very occasionally), warmish December day. We had decided to do this trail today, but Red Roaming and I disliked having to walk a long way to the start of this trail as we had previously completed, the Bere Alston ones several years ago! The trail to this was extremely muddy today. we passed under the aqueduct - amazing structure and then ignoring the GPS we walked straight past the cache. KD went back to it as we looked on and we soon had it in hand. Logs signed Devon Girls or DG. TFTC and along the canal we go

please see main log at Crease Caper No.1.
KD went up the bank for us this time. no problems here. TFTC
