Logs for kezemmart
28-Apr-13
Came along with 4 youngsters. Looked all around at GZ location on iPhone but unable to find it. Read previous logs about how easy it was. Feeling a bit thick. Will have to try again another time. Visiting from WA so might not be till next year.
Took about 20 minutes to find. We were near it all along and once found thought it was very clever. Took a few pics but didn't have a pen with us. Tftc.

We found it very interesting and very sad to read of the history of this island involving out aboriginal friends ancestors. We solved the code and 9yo geodaughter found the cache. We deposited a long held geocoin for someone else to help it on it's way.

Much tougher to get to than I thought it would be, especially with my 9 yo geodaughter in tow. But it was worth it. The box does need replacing, preferably with something more rust proof. Retrieved geocoin, which previous carrier forgot to note the tracking number. Will move it along soon.TFTC

Found easily while at the playground nearby. Nice location. Someone else had found it before us on the same day. TNLN

Trecked here from Dunsborough with a stop at one of the beaches along the way for a few hours. This area has to be one of our favourite spots in the world. Took a purse for the 9 year old geokid and left a carabiner key ring. TFTC

Our first multi-cache, this was an enjoyable way to see and learn a little bit about Ipswitch on our visit from WA. The treck through the park was enjoyable. The cache, however, needs a little TLC as it has obviously been there a while. A bit rusty, a little wet on the inside and some of the "prizes" need replacing. A new box wouldn't go astray. Otherwise I would agree with some of the earlier geocachers that this is one of the better ones around.

Drove back and forth a couple of times on the two nearest roads until we realised we couldn't get any closer and then found a suitable place to park. The littlies enjoyed the bush experience and the 9YO's smile on discovering the cache was priceless. Didn't see a travel bug so a little disappointed. Took 3 items and left 3 items.
Didn't find this one as the kids ran out of patience and the ant bites were too painful, one bit the 6 year old in the car on the way home. We would have had another look but ran out of time on our visit from WA.

After we looked around for about five minutes (and I looked right at it without realising it) my 8 year old daughter Emma finally found the cache. Unfortunately there were no "new" postcards left so we couldn't fill one out. But we did manage to complete our mission to deposit a travel bug from Chicago. TFTC

We absolutely loved the climb and the views were spectacular. What a place to have a cache. Once again we didn't take or leave anything as we misplaced our bag of goodies in transit. Our second FTF. Thanks Rainbow Coasters. This one, and Quaalup, were worth the travel to find them.

FTF at this beautiful location. We loved our stay at the homestead. Lots to be said for it, but this is about the cache. Nicely hidden and just challenging enough. We didn't take or leave anything as we had misplaced our little bag of goodies, but enjoyed the find just the same. Only disappointment was not seeing Edna. Thanks again guys.

Took a young friend out with our daughter to introduce him to the sport. Shortly after getting home from picking him up his mum had signed up to the website and had started her investigation into what sort of GPS to get. It spreads. We really enjoyed this one and it was a beautiful day for it.
Our little friends first cache, after which he was hooked. Let him hold the GPS and eventually he found it. There were a few muggles at the playground but they were oblivious to what we were doing. TFTC

Enjoyed the walk out. Very clever hide. At first we looked right at it, not realising it was the cache. I won't give anymore away but we certainly left there admiring the ingenuity of the person who hid it.
Fun short treck through the bush. We went off road too soon and came to a dead end before back tracking and going around to get back on the right track. Retrieved the travel bug, our first as we're new at this. Lot's of fun. TFTC.
Hi. I'm Emma. I'm 8 years old.It was my 4th cache. Didn't take very long at all & I really liked the tunnel.(:D)
Daddy and Mummy loved it too.
Daddy and Mummy loved it too.
Beautiful walk around the point. We love coming here for a walk with the dog anyway so this added a bit more interest to it. Found it ok. Took some stickers and left some.

Beautiful location on the hill. Took us longer to find than it should have but was fun in any case. Emma chose the blue spider and the pink panther stamp. We left an Adelaide crows toy (since they beat the Dockers today) and an alien.
Another clever hide by this group. Well camouflaged but worth the search. [^] Didn't see any kangaroos and it was very bushy.

Took a few minutes to find, thanks to Emma's eagle eye's. What a fun start and our first cache find as new geocachers. We took the pig (Emma named it Wilbur because it looked like the pig in Charlottes Web) and we left a small Giant Panda.
