Snagged this cache after walking down to the falls. Awesome location! Getting on a plane in a few hours to head back to USA. Thanks New Zealand!
I brought my hubby back after he finished his work in Tauranga, and guess what? He found it! He turned my frown upside down! The coordinates had us looking on the wrong side of the track! The log was too wet to sign, so we included a picture. TFTC!
Greetings from the USA! Decided to come back to McLaren Falls to pick up a couple of extra caches before heading to the airport. We left the pen in the car at the falls, so we took a picture of the log instead. The container was filled with water so we would have had a hard time signing the log anyway. TFTC and a nice visit to NZ!

GPS was a bit off. The trolls were keeping this one safe.
Found it after some unnecessary bushwhacking. Log was a little soggy and falling apart. Location is gorgeous!
We were walking around the gorge on our last full day in NZ. Back to Iowa USA tomorrow. TFTC!

It took a little rustling around the hill. GPS was bouncing around. Awesome location! TFTC!

Very clever. Took us about 15 minutes. Got lots of looks from drivers at the stoplight. I'm glad we persisted though. TFTC!

Greetings from the USA! We're in Tauranga for a couple of weeks on business, but we took a day to come down and explore Rotorua and the redwoods. We are thoroughly enjoying ourselves! What a clever hide! TFTC!

Found it! The redwood trees are truly magnificent. We're from Iowa USA but this area makes us feel like we're in a California redwood forest.
