Logs for ninasclan

10-Apr-23
Seems cache no longer exists.

22-Aug-22
I suspect that there are a couple of caches out there. I have replaced the cache a number of times in it's original location. A recent find has reassured me the cache is still there and in good condition.

13-Jun-20
Found with a newbie. So much fun. TFTC.

08-Jun-20
First geocache found in a while. Nice little park. TFTC.

Interesting cache creature guarding the treasure. TFTC.

Another on our geocaching adventure. TFTC.

Dropping a GC

05-Jun-18
Beautiful part of the world. I'm not used to everyone saying good morning to me as they walk past. TFTC.

22-Jun-17
Found by a first timer. It was fun sharing this hobby with someone new. TFTC.

21-Jun-17
Should have followed the clue and not the GPS which had us searching in a rugged and rubbish filled area. Turned out to be an easy find when we were in the right location. Enjoyed bringing a friend and watching him find his first cache. TFTC.

07-Oct-16
I had some time to spare and doctor's orders to exercise, so the perfect answer seemed to be go geocaching. A nice stroll through the bush and the cache was in hand. TFTC.

30-Sep-16
Found the cache easily enough with the assistance of my handy geoson. It's a nice thing to be solving puzzles together and then signing their logs together. Thanks for a great afternoon caching.

I love it when I look at a puzzle and straight away know what needs doing. We wondered where to park to find this cache and thankfully chose the right way in. It was a pleasant stroll with geoson and geohubby. Once again I was very pleased to have the agility and willingness of my 13yo to retrieve the log. TFTC.

Kicking myself that we forgot to look for this one while we were at Geo#20. Oh well. Another day.

2TF with geoson and geohubby at 2.30pm. Geohubby builds model planes as a hobby so this puzzle was right up his street. I was incredibly grateful for the agility and lanky limbs of my geoson to retrieve the log. TFTC

I was pleasantly surprised when I solved this one. It just suddenly hit me. The cache wasn't as easy to find. It was our first find for the afternoon of chasing down love tinged smileys. TFTC.

We seem to be following Jacs Team around this afternoon. Another 3rd to find but nowadays I'm just happy for the find. We've had a lovely afternoon driving around the area and picking up 6 more smileys. Geoson was surprised by the container. TFTC Orange Crew.

Third to find again, after Jacs Crew. We solved the puzzle quickly which always leaves me concerned. But the end location seemed logical and well worth looking at. I love it when you point to a spot and say, it's there, and sure enough it is. This was one of those spots. We also admired the interesting letterbox on the way. Now I think we deserve some chocolates, maybe even orange flavoured ones ... Yum. TFTC.

FTF. You have no idea how good this feels. I've taken a break from geocaching for a couple of years due to illness and this is the first FTF since I've started up again. And more importantly, I solved the puzzle single-handedly... Not something that happens very often. Enjoyed the hunt with geohubby and geoson. The orange aroma is a nice touch. TFTC. We're going to enjoy working on this series.

I believe I might be the first to solve this puzzle which I'm incredibly proud of because puzzles and I just don't get on. The swearing that's been occurring here tonight is proof of that. It's a pity I can't just jump into my car right now to go and retrieve the cache. Too dark which makes me too scared.

Phew. Another puzzle cache solved. I would have had no hope with this one if it wasn't for the help of my 13 year old son. I was going around in urban circles. Next to actually go and find the cache.

16-Sep-16
Interesting what you learn when geocaching. A stick did it's job. TFTC

Combination of brains, brain and damn good luck. The container was exactly what I thought it would be. TFTC.

In the area for some hospital appointments so this still was a nice distraction. TFTC

An interesting cache. TFTC. We had some trouble with the actual cache container. The rusted wire connecting the cache broke. We did our best to support the cache given our height disadvantage.

An interesting cache. TFTC.

Very interesting container. TFTC.

Found some toys in the bush. And a cache. TFTC.

15-Sep-16
Could not find on the occasion.

Found with Swag4 and a most unimpressed geofather. We'll get him excited by the end of the afternoon. TFTC.

Found by geosister while I was looking somewhere else. TFTC.

11-Sep-16
It was on private property. Not sure if it should be. TFTC.

Another cache that we were so glad that geoson came for the ride so the log could be signed. TFTC.

So glad 6 foot geoson was with us though it was very funny watching short geosister try to retrieve it. Lots of vrooming in the background. TFTC.

Second one of this type we've found this week. Though it did take us a while to track this bugger down. Glad it was a quiet Sunday. TFTC.

Now that's taking micros to extremes! Again glad fo the extra long arms of a teenage geoson. And what's this ... A second one. TFTC.

09-Sep-16
Didn't take too much searching for this one. I don't understand the clue though. TFTC.

Very very funny watching geosister jump. It was raining too which made it even more fun. TFTC.

Compass is telling me the cache is in an area that is impassable due to a fallen dead tree. Will return one day.

Very quick snatch and grab. TFTC.

Found with geosister. Was lying on the ground in the open so we're not quite sure where it belongs. TFTC.

I like this one. We couldn't find it yesterday due to an uncooperative gps but was much easier today. TFTC.

08-Sep-16
Found on a beautiful afternoon of caching with my geosister. TFTC.

Bit scary finding this one in daylight. I thought we were too conspicuous but deed was quietly done. TFTC.

At last, after a frustrating afternoon with the GPS not working, we found a cache. This is one of the cleanest caches I've ever seen. TFTC.

Gave up looking when geosister almost picked up a live snake. We weren't game to keep looking. Should I mention I didn't believe that the snake was real?

Found after a bit of a search. TFTC.

01-Sep-16
Found while waiting for geoson. TFTC.

Found with Swag4. An interesting cache. Thanks for the hunt.
