CrustyVarmint and I found this cache yesterday after having lunch in the picnic grounds. The walk along the river was very nice in the afternoon sun.

(Best wishes to the chap in the vehicle pulled over in the entrance of the picnic grounds with heart issues - I’m sure the Park Rangers took good care of him until the paramedics arrived). 

Found yesterday with the experience and tenacity of the CrustyVarmint.

Lead by Team Crusty Varmint we found it. 

Captain Crusty Varmint lead the expedition to this wonderful little island - the cache needed a few minor repairs (all good now). 

Found 11/05/2012 while trail bike riding in the area with Crustyvarmint. This cache had been badly damaged by fire, but has recently been adopted by Crustyvarmint. I love the beauty of this location and it’s history.

11/05/21 Found this cache while trail bike riding with Crustyvarmint. We came down the the track, not sure what was at the bottom of this steep hill! Great location for a cache, but lookout for the large spider guarding this cache. 

Today, sadly 8 experienced cache hunters couldn’t find it!
