Logs for sandpiper seven

This is a cache located in Australia. I will not be returning to Australia again so this site will be archived as of this date
31-Jan-03
This site received a housekeeping visit by Sue, Anne-Marie and Jody this date and they were pleasantly surprised to find the site and the contents of the cache in reasonably good condition and , also, by the number of geocachers that visited. The trio did a good luck dance around the site in the tradition of Native North Americans with much prancing and hollering as they did their dance. Several onlookers were a little shocked at their prancing and dancing and their singing but, with the exception of one couple who hastily gathered up their children, the others were quite taken with this burst of energy. The cache was returned to its hiding place and awaits the arrival more geocachers.

Little George was found at the top of Mount Finlayson in the City of Victoria and sent to Australia by a slow boat where he ended up in Melbourne in the company of Jody and Marty Jay who subsequently took him on a trip to Perth, Australia where he began to exhibit some minor character flaws such as taking an unseemly interest in a House of Ill Repute. This particular House was an historical building but Little George had not, at this point, shown any interest at all in things historical. The return trip to Melbourne was relatively uneventful and Little George redeemed himself as a suburb fisherman and provided Marty some heartburn with his immediate success whereas Marty had many years of fishing and had to work very hard to obtain the success that Little George found immediately. All-in-all Little George settled into the Jay household very well except for his constant harping at the family cat. His behavior caused the cat the to lose fur and to constantly hiss at anything that moved. It is assumed that Little George had a close encounter with a cougar when located at the top of Mount Finayson and he associated the family cat as a near relative of the cougar which of course he was. Finally the day arrived when Little George must leave the Jay household and take up residence at Robert's Rest where he now resides.

There were signs that Captain No Beard and the Pi-Rats might have searched this cache for the Lost Loot that the Captain had taken from a saleman of defunct bonds and presumably lost gold mine certificates. As most most people in Victoria, BC, know that Captain No Beard has been looking for his lost loot and may have sailed to the State of Victoria, Australia, as a possible place for the loot to have be hidden.
This note is confirms that the lost loot is not here nor is it to be found any longer at the Lost Loot Site in Victoria, BC. If any geo-cacher in Australia finds this site and does know of where the lost loot might be located, Captain No Beard and the Pi-Rats can be contacted by clicking on Canada, British Columbia, and will find his profile and how he can be contacted. Once there, simple leave a log about his lost loot. Your sympathy for his loss might be appreciated. More importantly, any information you might have about where it might be would be welcome. I grabbed his loot in the first place and now I am trying to leave a false trail.
