Logs
We walked up the Corker Trail for the GC virtual at the lookout. We had a scratch around for this one on the way up, decided we needed to push in further, so tried again on the way down. I got right to the cliff edge looking for this, and although the cache is only 'metres' from the track - it's about 30 of them. Push in further! The container is broken (400mL sistema), but the log in pretty reasonable shape.

I have been wanting to do the climb to Carey's Peak for some time, so with a 4-day ANZAC long weekend we decided to make it today. We started from Lagoon Pinch and began the steep climb up the Corker trail taking a detour for some morning tea at Selby Ally Hut. What a wonderful spot that place is. We then continued our climb to Careys Peak. While some muggle walkers where enjoying the views from the lookout we came and found this cache. Signed log then returned to the lookout to enjoy the views for ourselves. A terrific day, clear skies with just a few clouds, perfect weather for walking and not windy up here. What a great adventure this was, TFTC.
Not found since May 2007 and we did it!
I do be
I've that this is my longst unfound find.
We walked the 8km up the corker and stayed at the nearby hut and did a 20 k walk the day after and checked out the all white view of clouds and nothing but clouds. We tried the view from this cache and it was identical.
The search took a while to narrow the search down under the tree cover and it turned out to be further from the path and closer to the cliff than the hint would have us believe.
Signed the log. The cache is in quite good order.
We retuned down our 8kms down the corker after another night stay and I still have tired legs

A wonderful, cold, windy, magnificant, windy, painful, back breaking, blistering, cashe find. Hiked in 9km with a 16kg pack and stayed the night. Not bad for an office worker. Great view, found with Daisy and a small group of friend. Many campers, motorbike riders and cyclists along the trail.
Dropped by again as planned for a cache check. Only had 7 children, with 6 adult leaders. All well, and no snow yet, but fairly cold.
Me and Shane schofeild tried to find it before Grahame Cookie found us but we tried to bush bash but then decided not too. Loved the view even though it was a bit cloudy.
Left W.W.J.D wrist band and took nothing.

[;0] Found 1250, with 2 sons & 2 friends while scouting out a hike for 10x, 10 to 16 year olds in 3 weeks time. Great views, even if the clouds were buzzing by at 60km/hr, with a wind chill of 5°. Placed a log pad and a couple of bandaids. Will hopefully be able to get to 'Barry' in 3 weeks times. (Good coordinates)
