Description
A truckin' good cache this one.....!
I was driving through Ilfracombe and spotted a long line of potential hiding places for caches. Did a check and found there was one lonely cache in the area, so now the number of available caches has doubled!
You are looking for the Longreach Engineering ex Army Crane. Once you find it, the name of the cache should be apparent and I hope the cache will reveal itself soon after.
Please take care in returning the cache to its hide.
(Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965 were present when the cache was placed and will log their finds once the FTF has been claimed).

Found It!
I searched a lot where the hint suggested it should be but I didn't find anything there. Then started to look a bit further away and from some different angles and I eventually spotted it!

Attending the QOGM 2023 event at Longreach.
After a thorough search, I have to admit defeat.

Another day..............
We travelled 8,500km through 5 states for a 60th birthday party over approx. 6 weeks. We endured many days over 35C and then saw a lot of water in the eastern states. We enjoyed travelling east with family and then they travelled back to Alice and we made our way home to SA, trying to dodge the rain and wet weather.
Caching is a great way to see the many wonderful sights and learn about the places we are travelling through.
Thank you to those who take the time to hide caches

Whilst travelling outback QLD collected all and everything I could, staying in Longreach with friends.
The hint was explicit but we couldn't see it. Don't like to call it missing as it could just be us missing it. A top spot, so thanks for that LuckyL10n.
Heading the long way home after 9 nights in Blackall Qld for QOGM 2019.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find. GC caches are a few far and between on these outback roads.

Unfortunately I couldn't find this little fellow following the hint, but Pa discovered him in pieces elsewhere and so I was able to do the required repairs, sign the log and place him back where I am sure he is supposed to be. I hope he doesn't get muggled again. The log has been wet, but can continue.
We drove from Oma Waterhole to Longreach today and it was great to get back into caching country. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find LuckyL10N. Love the Mile!

TFTC. We left Longreach this morning on our journey east toward Rockhampton before heading south beck to Victoria. Needing cache to fill a blank on the calendar we pulled over to inspect the machinery lining the road. We quickly located the cache and signed our names. A great location and interesting machinery.

Out and about with youngoldfella when this one popped up on his list. Quick check on the Android app - yep, can do this one too! Enjoyed our hunt around the equipment, but YOF was quick on the find, so thank you, LuckyL10n.

Stayed in Muttaburra last night and today we were out and about today exploring the country side where a lot of travellers do not go, yet, to spy out cache placement spots. On the way south we had a brief stop and soon had this one in hand. Not too much traffic out and about today but there were a lot of caravans and vehicles pulled up at the side of the road with the muggles exploring the tourist things and going across the road to the café. With the add of the hint this one was soon in hand. TFTC LUCKYL10N

Alice trip 2017. Day 25. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I left Winton and headed further southeast to Longreach to look around town then on to Barcaldine to finish the local caches there. I was there when this one was placed so am happy to put my log on now it has been found.
Thanks

CA 1535. I was with the CO when this cache was placed last month.
One of several caches our group left in our wake as we traveled around Australia after the Red Centre Experience Event is Alice Springs over Easter. This area was quite facinating and worthy of another cache to break your travel. We actually had lunch nearby and looked through the exhibits - fantastic !

Great to see the first to find now claimed...
What an interesting area. Plenty of machines to check out along the street here. The little museum a bit closer to the centre of town is also a neat spot to spend a few minutes while taking a break from driving.
An enjoyable area to stop and check out, and great for a cache.....
